About: I’ve always loved animals and taking care of them is something I love. I took some vet classes in high school that helped me learn the basics! Such as their body behavior, basic handling, and how to administer medication. I also gained some experience with grooming and caring for senior dogs, as I understand older pets need extra patience and attention. I’ve trained my own dog to perform many tricks and sleep on his own, so if you have a puppy I’d be more than happy to show them some basic tricks and commands during our time together. While training takes time I’m always happy to help them learn more and build good habits. I am also available to do boarding, walks, and home visits all day on Fridays and Sundays. I live in an apartment where there is a little doggy park and it’s a very dog friendly environment. While they are with me if you have any extra requests to have them be on the bed or keep them in their crate I will be happy to follow that.

About: Hi my name is Joseph! I grew up in a veterinary hospital being surrounded by all breeds and sizes of cats and dogs. I have 7+ years of pet sitting experience for NC State Vet Students and Faculty and currently work for a dog boarding and daycare facility in the Noda area. My background has given me hands-on experience with feeding, exercise, enrichment, and providing attentive compassionate care for every pet. I’m currently working Monday - Friday between 7am-11am (break) 2:30-7pm. On Saturday/Sunday the hours move around alittle but I remain to have a 3-4 hour mid day break for the opportunity to have midday checkups/care. My usual Check-in times when pet sitting have been 10-30 minutes before 6:30-7, 20-40 minutes between 11:30-2, and 20-30 minutes after 7:30. Depending on age, temper and health of the dog the visits can be rearranged for later or earlier visits if needed. With the circumstances of my apartment complex, I do in-house visit of my client instead of having the dog at my home. When arriving at my clients home, I like to first take the dog outside and make sure they use the bathroom. I will update the owner immediately if I see any issues with the pets stool (ie. Blood, Diarrhea, etc). After I like to feed depending on instructed time, or if no meal/ walk the dog around the owners yard or complex if possible. Before leaving I always make sure there is plenty of water and that at least one happy photo. Willing to administer medications in pill form. Also, will always follow clients instructions to a avoid any confusion or accidents.

I have experience taking care of small, medium, and large (and extra large) dog breeds. I currently have my own 4 year old golden retriever and a 6 year old kitty. They are family to me! On typical week I am free Friday-Sunday all day, Monday-Thursday in the evenings. I will mainly be available for drop-ins and dog walks. She went above and beyond by taking Ollie on hikes, long walks, and abiding by all his little quirks. I could tell Ollie had a blast and loved playing with her sweet dog, Kru. The day I was supposed to pick Ollie up, my flight was delayed til super late, and Erika was extremely responsive and cooperative working with me to find the best way to handle the pickup. She truly knows what a dog parent wants when letting someone watch their pup, and she’ll treat them like on of her own!”
“McKenna was absolutely wonderful with Mick! From the moment I dropped him off, I knew he was in great hands. She was incredibly communicative and personable throughout his stay, keeping me updated and sending plenty of photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. One of the things I appreciated most was how active and engaged she was with him. She took Mick to the park every day, making sure he got plenty of exercise (even on rainy days), enrichment, and fun. It was clear from the photos and updates that he was happy, comfortable, and genuinely enjoying himself. McKenna went above and beyond to make sure Mick was well cared for, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
