“Our first time using Rover.com services. We were initially nervous about leaving our dog Rico with a complete stranger. After a meet and greet with Genevieve, we were instantly at ease! She was warm and friendly, answered all of our questions with great detail, and even asked questions about Rico and any special considerations/needs that I had not considered listing when creating our pet profile. Genevieve was extremely good at communicating during our 7 days away. We received a couple of photos each day, with a detailed write-up of Rico's daily adventures. She administered Rico's many different medications daily, and was sure to let us know what was administered and how much. The HUGE smiles on our pup's face were reassuring while we were away, he looked like he was having fun at summer camp! Drop-off and pick-up were a breeze, we would happily trust Genevieve with our pup any time! We look forward to booking her again!”

About: I've been a lifelong dog owner and have cared for dogs most of my life. I've frequently dog-sat for friends and family over the years, including feeding, walking, administering medications when needed and providing lots of attention and playtime. I work from home full-time, so your dog will receive plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. My partner is retired and also home most of the time, so there is almost always someone here with the pets. Because of this, dogs are rarely left alone and get lots of care, playtime, and comfort during their stay. Dogs under 40 lbs. please. We provide a calm, safe, and welcoming environment and follow each dog’s normal routine for feeding, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. Our home has a fenced backyard where dogs can safely enjoy time outside. We also have a friendly 5-year-old dog who is low-energy and well socialized. She enjoys the company of other dogs but is also respectful of dogs who prefer their own space. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to us. We introduce dogs slowly, supervise interactions, and treat every dog in our home like part of the family. We are also happy to send photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away.
