“We took a one week vacation and were a little concern to have a stranger come care for our dog (Libby) in our home. We were able to meet and greet with Josh a few days before. Libby kept barking at Josh but after a while he was able to pet her and carry her. Josh checked in on Libby twice a day to take her out to use bathroom and to make sure she had food and water, that’s all I needed Josh to do. However he took the extra step to take her for walks around the block, keep an eye on my home and even took the extra step to feed my fish. Libby was very spoiled and made a new friend. About: I have a dog of my own that is a shiz tzu who is 16 years old. I have raised her when she was a puppy to a senior and in her golden years. She is my best friend. I have taken her out on walks, feed, bathe, take to groomers and vet appointments. I work full time. I do want to make extra money on the side. I am available on the weekends will need to know weeks in advance. In my spare time I would like to take care of your pet. I live in a small area not an area to house sit, but can house sit and the owners house. I will watch them by being in the same room as them making sure their feed, water bowl is full, and having their daily and or attention for the day.

About: I have always had pets, specifically indoor dogs and cats. I also have 2 years experience as a kennel tech at a boarding/grooming facility where I worked with dogs of all sizes, cats, reptiles, rabbits and other small mammals. I am comfortable with any size dog and most temperaments. Each dog deserves care and attention, I am well aware that certain breeds have more difficult personality traits (and for good reason, too!) so just let me know what your dog needs and I will accommodate. Regarding dog walks: I am not currently booking for dog walks due to a torn ligament in my ankle. I am still capable of drop ins, boarding, etc. as I am healing, but walks are on hiatus for a few weeks! I am stable/sturdy - just in a boot. I work full time but am available after 5pm on weekdays. I do have a flexible schedule so if you need something, I may be able to accommodate if I can work from home! I have open availability on the weekends. As someone with kennel tech experience, I am very comfortable crating dogs and taking them for walks, playing as much as they want, and adjusting to their specific needs. I also have experience administering medication, both oral and injections.
