“Always a little scary leaving your family pets in the care of a stranger, but after our meet & greet with Elizabeth I knew she was the right one! Our cats need daily meds which can be challenging, and she took this on without hesitation. She went above and beyond and cleaned the litter boxes out and put new litter in before we came home which was a wonderful surprise, and we’re so appreciative of it. I would absolutely recommend her and use her again to watch our cats in the future!”

“Melissa was amazing and took excellent care of our three babies while we were gone for three weeks! We have one very shy boy who normally hides when there are new people around but he loved her visits, coming up to her for treats! That tells me all I need to know about Melissa and the love she gave them while we were gone. Thank you so much Melissa! ❤️”

“Doreen was an amazing sitter for Sadie! She updated me with a lot of pictures, videos, and description of her visit every day. She is very communicative and it’s obvious she loves animals. I’m so happy to have met her and completely trust her taking care of Sadie. 😊”

About: Currently offering weekends only. I specialize in working with difficult dogs. Your dog will learn or improve: - Loose leash walking - Impulse control - Basic obedience (sit, down, stay, leave it, come, look, touch) - Fetch (if environment allows) All walking/training programs are catered to your wants and needs and your dog's personality. No matter your situation, your pup will be tired mentally and physically after every session. Available Saturdays and Sundays! Unfortunately no weekdays. I live in Preston with my beautiful wife and two pups and am proud to serve my local area. I am experienced with all kinds of dogs and training methods. In addition to professional training, I am a volunteer trainer and member of the Behavior Modification Squad at the Connecticut Humane Society, where I work almost exclusively with difficult and/or reactive dogs. As such, I am equipped to handle situations that most walkers / trainers are not. I am serious about safety. Unless you have a tall fenced in yard, I will never let your pup out off leash. If I'm not comfortable with your leash or collar I might use my own slip lead with a safety stopper. I am an excellent communicator and will make sure you are satisfied from start to finish. I'll also ensure that you are comfortable with my methods in general (I prefer to use balanced methods but can use purely positive if you prefer). I'm flexible to meet your needs!

About: With 13 years of experience, I care for pets of all ages—puppies to seniors. What truly sets me apart as a pet sitter is the level of care, attention, and heart I bring to every animal I look after. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all pet sitting—every pet is unique, and I tailor my care to match their individual routines, personalities, and preferences. Whether it’s maintaining a strict feeding schedule, keeping up with daily walks, or simply spending quality time playing or cuddling, I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and understood in your absence. I have extensive experience with a wide range of animals, including those with special needs such as senior pets, animals with anxiety, or those requiring regular medications. I’m confident in providing not only basic care but also the kind of gentle, attentive support that pets with extra needs require. My calm demeanor and understanding of pet behavior allow me to build trust quickly, even with shy or nervous animals. Communication is key when someone else is caring for your furry family members, so I prioritize regular updates. I send messages, photos, and videos so you can see how your pet is doing and feel reassured that they’re happy and in great hands. I want you to be able to truly relax while you’re away, knowing your pet is not just being looked after, but genuinely cared for. In addition to being loving and attentive, I’m also well-prepared for emergencies. I stay calm under pressure and know how to respond quickly if something unexpected arises, from minor injuries to more serious situations. This preparedness ensures that your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I strive to create a nurturing, home-like environment filled with comfort, routine, and affection. I genuinely love animals, and that passion comes through in everything I do—from the wag of a tail to the purr of a happy cat, I thrive on making pets feel secure and content. Being a pet sitter is more than a job to me—it’s a privilege, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. 🩵 A little about me: I currently have 3 dogs of my own. One is a senior Chihuahua and the other two are 1 yr old Dobermans. I'm available during the week mornings between 9am and 1pm and evenings between 4:30 and 8pm. I make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. You'll get daily updates with photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.

I am easily bookable day-of most days, and am available for overnight care. The portability of my work allows me complete flexibility to meet the needs of you and your pet(s). Your pets are your most cherished family members, and I never lose sight of that. Maintaining the utmost respect for your pets and your property is always my top priority.

About: My family has fostered dogs since I was in middle school. I have taken dogs to events to meet prospective adopters and have cared for 13 dogs in the household at once. For almost 2 years I have worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility while in college. There I supervise groups of dogs and correct unwanted behavior while giving pets and love so that dogs have a good time while they are with us. I also do a lot of cleaning where I work. I am not afraid to get dirty or clean up poop, I have been doing it for years with many different animals. I have had a cat since I was in elementary school and occasionally we have cats board at the facility I work at while in school. I am currently doing a full time internship, so this will be part-time work. I am available all day Friday and Saturday, as well as evenings every other day of the week. I end at different times for my internship but generally I can do starting at 6pm. I am very comfortable around dogs of all sizes and am able to give lots of snuggles. I am able to crate a pet if needed and correct bad behaviors if needed as I am in school for animal behavior.

About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life. I've taken care of them from when they were babies until old age. I've been training my family dogs since highschool. I just finished up a masters degree. I'm currently searching for jobs and have plenty of time to take care of cats and dogs at the moment. I have a fenced yard with a friendly dog who loves making new friends and a cat that will either hang out or just do his own thing.
