“Ryan was fantastic! My boys really struggle in the summertime due to the heat. He took that seriously and made sure to only have them outside for brief potty breaks. The boys had fun making new friends at daycare! He made sure they stayed cool and hydrated! As a helicopter mom I really worry about my fur babies, so I really appreciated that he sent videos throughout their visit to show me they were doing fine and having a great time! He spent time with them as well! My boys were in good hands with Ryan!”

About: I have been around animals my entire life and cared for my own dogs for nearly 20 years. I often dog sit/house sit for friends and neighbors. I have two female pugs and a male terrier mix who are part of our family. While I do have kids and they may join in on a walk, I would always be the one in charge of the leash and walking your dog. We have a large fenced in yard for plenty of play time if you board or schedule doggie daycare with us. I also have experience caring for small animals like cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, lizards, chickens, and hamsters. I can board animals in cages/enclosures in an area where other animals do not have access or provide drop in visits in your home. With specific instructions, I could accommodate most types of animals. I work part time on the weekends and my husband works full time during the week, part of which is work from home. Our home is rarely without someone here. I do have two school aged children who are gentle if a dog is staying with us and also gives me an opportunity for dog walking at your location. I will provide cute pictures from drop in visits, walks, and boarding. If your dog stays overnight with us, we would require crating only during the night. Otherwise our dogs are out and about in the main part of the house and go out into our fenced backyard often. They also enjoy frequent walks in our quiet neighborhood if desired.

About: My kids and I look forward to taking care of your dog just as our own. We got a poodle this last year and realized how much we love dogs. Dog walking, checking in, boarding, or day care, we are excited to take care of your dog. I am a stay at home mom with a flexible schedule. Ready in a moments notice to help with your dogs needs. My children also look forward to helping me with walks and simple training tricks. I have a fenced in yard as well as a large and small crate inside if needed. I am usually home so I can open the door often to let the dogs in and out. I love to go on walks and live in a quiet neighborhood.

“Elaine is friendly and warm and I felt good about leaving Olive for her first day of doggie daycare with her. I will certainly plan on using her services again. Thank you Elaine.”

“Billie gives such kind, loving care to Ginger. She makes adorably decorated little jars of home made treats for special holidays and is a wonderful caregiver to our senior dog. Her own dog is an easy going older fella himself, and they ignore each other companionable. 😄”

About: I have had pets almost my whole life. Dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, reptiles and a parrot. Life stages include kitten, puppies, middle age rescues to seniors. I will care for your fur babies and home as if they were my own. Presently I am retired and available for drop in visits. You can relax knowing your home and pets are in my caring hands. Primarily, I offer kitty & small/med dog care, feeding, brushing, playing, walking, litter care. May consider larger dogs, doggie daycare and overnight stay. Depends, as I do have a very mellow happy cat and I do not want to turn her world upside down. I will want to meet your pet, listen to you, take notes on their routines and what is most important for their best care while you are away. I know from my own experience the relief I feel when I have reliable pet care. I will always be a phone call away and will text pictures of your fur baby while they are in my care.

“Morgan is fantastic! She continuously sent me photos and updates of my pup & treated him like her own. She even put an extra snow jacket on him when he went out to play in the snow. Beau will 100% be coming back to play! 🤗”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs from 5-180 pounds. I’m a nurse, can provide medical needs, walk distances or sit and cuddle. I’m retired so usually available. My schedule is very flexible, I’m retired, I have 1 dog so understand that fur babies need attention, feeding, medication and exercise! I rescued my last 3 dogs so I’m use to delicate situations and have been vetted by 2 different rescue sites. I have a large fenced yard with 1large Doberman who has been through formal extensive training. Riggs is super sweet, plays nicely with other dogs, but has not been around cats. As always a meet and greet would be necessary to know if our animals are compatible

About: I provide your fur babies the kind of loving, reliable care that makes tails wag and whiskers twitch. I bring a sweet, friendly vibe, that helps pets feel safe, happy, and right at home. I am very attentive, ensuring every furry friend gets plenty of attention, snuggles and care they truly deserve. I care for pets part time; early in the morning, after work in the evenings and on the weekends. I can usually break away in the afternoon between 1:30 - 3:30 for quick let out service if needed. Fur babies can come stay at our place on the weekends only at this time. While here, they are welcome to run our large fenced back yard, off leash. However, dogs will never be left in the fenced area alone, I will always monitor them personally. Creates are available and recommended in case we have more than one FURiend visiting. We have a large family room to accommodate sleepover care. And several gates installed as safety stops throughout our home to keep runners contained and FURiends separated if needed during transitioning or feeding. Safety for all is very important to me.

About: I’ve taken care of my dog for 5 years now. I also watch my sisters dog very frequently while she’s at work sometimes and when she is out of town I am always the one to watch him. I absolutely love animals especially dogs. I have worked on wag, the dog walking site for a little over a year and I am really wanting to expand into watching dogs during the day/evening and overnight while you are away, working or just need a night out and want your dog safe. I’m currently working from home at the moment and part time. I would be available whenever you need someone! I don’t usually take too many vacations but if I do I would most definitely inform you weeks in advance. I would be happy to watch your dog at your house or mine and since I am home during the day I will be able to always have a close eye on your pet. I am very cautious with my own dog so I always avoid parking lots and I never get too close to busy roads when I am on walks.

About: Animals have always been a part of my life and have spent years caring for pets of all kinds for friends, family, and neighbors. Whether it’s a goofy pup, a cuddly cat, or an adventurous bunny, I truly enjoy their company and treat each one like my own! These days, I find just as much joy in quiet companionship as I do in outdoor play. I live in a spacious, pet-friendly home with plenty of room to roam, relax, and cuddle. Walks, belly rubs, or just hanging out—I’m here to give your pet the attention and care they deserve while you're away. I am now retired, which means I have plenty of time and attention to give to your pet! My days are calm and unhurried perfect for slow morning walks, mid-day play sessions, and quiet afternoons full of snuggles. I truly enjoy the companionship and love having a furry friend around to share the day with. Whether your pet needs lots of play or just a peaceful place to relax, they’ll have my full presence in a quiet, cozy environment. While the yard isn’t fenced, I’m always attentive and happy to keep your pet leashed when outside, or follow your preferences around crate training if needed.

About: I grew up with a lab and understand how busy large dogs are. I also understand the needs of smaller dogs and can take your direction on activity level, feeding schedule, etc. I can work from home or in my office in leawood. My work is very flexible and I enjoy exercise and movement throughout the day. This allows me to check in on your pet frequently, provide pictures/videos, and ensure your family member is well taken care of. I provide respect, trust, and privacy for you, your pet, and your home. I am capable of feeding, playing with, walking, and other tasks your pet needs. I do have two kids (ages 7 and 10) in my home part time.
