About: I've been training and taking care of dogs for 33 years. I had a couple childhood pets then when I was 18 I adopted and trained a dog that stayed with my family for 15 years. I also had a Labrador who made it to 13 and my current old man puppy is 13. I've been with my husband for 20 years. We LOVE dogs of all ages and sizes. I'm a stay at home mom to my geriatric dog. We get up around 6am, go outside for a bit, come in and get breakfast, then lounge while I clean. Lunchtime we go out again, have healthy snacks like carrots, then play in the fenced in yard or the living room depending on weather and temperature. Late afternoon and evening we wind down and get ready for dinner. I have a fenced in yard, a friendly old dog, tiled floors, comfortable furniture that they're allowed on, and air vents that come from the floors (dogs love to lay on them). There is security on my home and absolutely nobody but delivery people come here during the day.

In My Home (Boarding/Daycare) For in-home boarding, I provide a safe, secure, and pet-proofed environment. My home is designed to be a comfortable, low-stress retreat. Dogs enjoy a consistent routine of feeding, play, and scheduled outdoor time in a fenced yard (with or without my two dogs- preference based). All medications are administered exactly as prescribed and logged. For the safety of everyone, only pets who are current on vaccinations and demonstrate friendly temperaments are accepted. The environment is always low-density, meaning I take a limited number of guests at any time to guarantee that every animal receives the maximum amount of personal attention, love, and care.

I’m opening up my home to Rover guests primarily to provide some social fun for my own dog, Ripley. Ripley is a high-energy ball of joy who loves to play, so if you have a dog that never seems to tire out, they’ll find a kindred spirit here. Whether it's rounds of fetch, wrestling in the yard, or just having a buddy to nap with, your dog will be integrated into our daily routine. What to Expect: • Individualized Attention: Because I only sit 1 family’s dogs at a time, your dogs will get plenty of attention! • Active Days: We specialize in high-energy play. If your dog loves to move, they’ll come home happy and exhausted. • A Present Sitter: I work from home so your dogs will have plenty of face time with me! All dogs with an easy going temperament that are ready to play are welcome. I work from home so your dogs will get plenty of belly rubs and play time. I typically give Ripley a long walk (3 miles) after work that your pup is welcome to join or we can just stick to outdoor play time. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog that would love to play outside with your pup. I will send you daily updates and photos. I am happy to accommodate crate-trained dogs (bring your own crate) or dogs that roam a little bit more free (provided they don’t have destructive tendencies😂). I am a bit of a toasty sleeper so unfortunately no dogs in the bed, but they are welcome to sleep at the foot of my bed or anywhere else in the house!

Many friends trust me and bring me their pets when they need help, which has also given me experience taking care of different animals and adapting to their needs. 🐾 I offer pet care during the night in my home or at the owner's house, making sure they feel safe, comfortable and well taken care of. It includes food on time, walks if necessary, playtime, company during the night and a lot of attention and affection. I always follow the routine and instructions of the owner so that the pet feels as calm as possible.
