“Dana was so sweet with William!! I truly felt 100% comfortable leaving my baby with her and greatly appreciated the many update photos. Thanks so much Dana!!”

“Georgia has been enjoying spending two days a week at Alyssa and Spencer’s while her mom works. Alyssa and Spencer are great with Georgia and make her feel right at home from the moment she gets inside. We are so grateful to have found this wonderful alternative to larger doggy day cares for Georgia. Georgia doesn’t give too many details on all that she does while she is at Alyssa and Spencer’s, but on the mornings we go to their house, she can’t wait to get in the car and get there.”

About: Growing up around dogs and having two of my own, I understand the separation anxiety of leaving them at home for long periods or for vacations (been there!). I also understand if you have specific lists of needs as well (been there too!) So I will ensure your doggo is well loved and you get as much contact from me as you need to feel comfortable. I am currently a grad student, so most of my days are spent at home or being active outside (I like walking, hiking and I run 5-6x/week). This makes my days very flexible with what I can fit into my schedule. I can guarantee they will fit right in. If we book an appointment, that means my time is now theirs! I can stay over if your pet likes their home, or I have a fenced yard with a large doggie door for in/out access. I also have a separate doggie couch we can chill on and they are welcome to get on the bed at night (unless you have a no-furniture rule!) I do pick up backyard waste wherever they stay. It's no fun playing in poo...or coming home to a yard full of it! I just had to say goodbye to my beloved chocolate lab/vizsla from cancer who was a tripod, so your doggo would have the run of the house. This also means I can give medication and look after dogs that need extra care.
“Olga was wonderful! Her sweet little girl got along great with my small dogs. She was very attentive and provided regular pupdates. My dogs loved staying with her and we will definitely be using her again very soon!”

“Alicia & Don are a sweet and very nice couple. They took care of my sweet boy and he was very happy. They keep me update and sent me pics of my boy. I am so happy o was able to find a nice family to take care of my boy when I need it.”

About: I have been caring for dogs since I was a child. We always had a furry family friend, and I took pride in caring for friends, neighbors, and family's pets. I have had my girl, Bell (a 70lb lab mix), for a few years now and can't imagine my life without her. I wish I could add another pup to our home, but living in an apartment we don't quite have the space. So, I love the opportunity to meet and care for your babies through Rover. Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep you and your pup happy. I I have been caring for cats and dogs since I was a child. We always had a furry family friend, and I took pride in caring for friends, neighbors, and family's pets. I have had my girl, Bell (a 70lb lab mix), for a 7 years now and can't imagine my life without her. Olive (30lb mix breed) came into my life thanks to my partner and she is an absolute angel - a miniature lookalike of Bell, they quickly became bffs. I don’t think I could ever have enough paws in my life, so I love the opportunity to meet and care for your babies through Rover. Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep you and your baby(íes) happy. I moved to Charlotte from Atlanta over the summer and have recently gotten back on Rover after some time off to settle into various life changes. I am a PhD student at UNC Charlotte and working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to play with and care for your pups amidst my writing time. My weekly schedule stays fairly consistent with classes. Weekends vary for me, so I will update my calendar as needed. I will take great care to ensure your pup/kitty is safe and happy, by being observant and adhering to all instructions left for me. Your pets' comfort is my priority. I know each pet is unique, and I can and will adjust accordingly to best fit their needs! Expect plenty of photo updates. My schedule stays fairly consistent and I will be sure to update my calendar on a regular basis. As far as places I have to be physically during the week: I have class Monday morning and Wednesday morning and evening (could potentially come between classes). Everything else is virtual, so I am able to flex my schedule. Happy to discuss in detail. My schedule has allowed me to care for both of our babies with plenty of time for play and snuggles. In your home - I am respectful, tidy, and follow any and all instructions left for me to ensure your pet is comfy and well taken care of in your absence. In our home - we have a large, partially fenced in yard and enough space inside for playing and resting. Again, all instructions followed as every pet is unique and has their own needs and personalities. Our pups are friendly, social, and have been around plenty of other animals.
“My puppy had the best time with Jane and her dogs! They played so much and it’s exactly what he needed!! Jane was really communicative and trustworthy throughout the whole process! Thank you so much for taking care of my baby Cosmo, Jane!”

“My dog Pepsi went straight in with Mrs.Ann and didn't look back and didn't whine when I left. Mrs.Ann was nothing but fantastic and I would definitely recommend her services and will definitely let her watch Pepsi again next year during our Carowinds trips.”

About: I have 9yrs experience of taking care of a German Shepard mix. I understand no two dogs are the same and each some with their own personalities and needs. I work fully remote at home and have a pretty flexible schedule! That being said, I would be available 24/7 and happy to organize a pick up or drop off time that works best for you. I have a 2,300sq foot house in Cotswold with a huge fenced in backyard. I’m happy to host here or at your house based on your pets needs. I don’t have any pets and just one roommate whose hallway will be blocked off. Otherwise, my home environment is calm and open.
About: What sets us apart is that we are a work-from-home couple, so dogs are never left alone and receive constant supervision and attention! We have a fully fenced backyard for safe playtime and live in a great neighborhood for daily walks. We’re experienced with puppies who need frequent potty breaks and structure, as well as adult dogs who enjoy a calm, consistent routine. Our friendly Cavapoo, Sperry, loves other dogs and helps create a welcoming environment that truly feels like home. Because we both work from home, pet care naturally fits into our daily routine. Dogs are supervised all day and receive regular potty breaks, backyard playtime, walks in our neighborhood, meals on their usual schedule, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Evenings and weekends are calm and homey, with lots of cuddles and playtime. We provide a safe, calm, and loving home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. Our home is dog-friendly, clean, and secure, with a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play. Because we work from home, dogs are always supervised and are never left alone for extended periods. We carefully follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any house rules provided by owners.

About: Hi! My name is Kortney and I would love to care for your loved ones. I love animals of all types. I’ve had two dogs and a fish in the past, and now I have the world’s most gentle cat! I) I am available for house sitting, walks and play time, potty breaks, meal times, baths, and general companionship during the day/night (they get lonely too!). I don’t have a breed preference, all friendly animals are welcome. I don’t have an age preference either, although I do have a soft spot for old pups. My partner is also on Rover and we often work together. Smoke-free household. I’m very flexible! I am currently working part time during the week and I’m off on weekends so I’ll have tons of time to take great care of your fur babies! I make sure that I don’t pet sit animals with opposing temperaments at the same time. I’m very in tune with cues that they give off. I can also crate your dog if needed.

“Great first experience using Rover. Kimberly provided videos and detailed updates on what my puppy was doing during the day. He came home and passed out! He had so much fun. Would rebook again with her 100%”

About: Animals have always been a central part of my life. I grew up with a variety of dogs and cats, and even considered veterinary school before choosing a career in nursing. Now, I work full-time from home as a triage nurse, which allows me to care for animals throughout the day while being present with my family. Our home is filled with love and furry friends—including our adored German Shepherd, a cuddly orange tabby cat, and two playful guinea pigs. My 6-year-old daughter arguably loves animals even more than I do! She’s been raised to treat all creatures with kindness and enjoys helping care for them every chance she gets. We enjoy going on adventures, daily walks, and weekend outings, but we also love cozy days at home. My husband is off on weekends, and we love including dogs in our family activities. I treat every pet like my own and will spoil them with love, attention, and care. We’re so excited to welcome new dogs into our home and can’t wait to make them part of our extended furry family! I work full-time from home as a triage nurse, working three 12-hour shifts each week, so I am available most days/times of the week! My schedule gives me the flexibility to take breaks throughout the day to let the fur kids outside for fresh air and playtime. My home office is the favorite hangout spot—our pets love to keep me company while I work! My husband is off on weekends, and we love incorporating the dogs into our weekend activities, whether it's going for walks, exploring local parks, or just relaxing at home. On my days off, I’m usually around the house, with the occasional errand or trip to one of my daughter’s activities. I’m also an avid runner and make time for daily walks—sometimes more than one! We’re excited to welcome your pups into our home and can’t wait to include them in our family’s routine and adventures. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. We have a fully enclosed 6-foot privacy-fenced yard—perfect for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. Our home is within walking distance to downtown Matthews, so your pup can enjoy daily walks and fun neighborhood adventures. Inside, your pet will feel right at home. Our furniture and beds are open to all furry guests—because in our house, your dog is family. Whether they’re lounging in my home office or snuggled up on the couch, they’ll be treated with love and care. I pride myself on excellent communication and will keep you updated with multiple daily messages and photos. Whether your dog is relaxing in my home office or joining us for weekend outings, you’ll always feel confident and connected knowing your pet is being treated like family every step of the way.
Marshbrooke dog parents share their Rover experiences
This was my first experience with River. And I couldn’t have made a better choice than Christie. She made both Zuko and Daisy feel right at home. The puppies were excited to see her in the morning. She was great at sending pictures and updates. Made this experience very stress free! I will be booking her whenever I need it!

Dana was absolutely wonderful! She kept me updated with plenty of photos and messages throughout the day, which gave me such peace of mind. My dog looked genuinely happy, relaxed, and right at home in her care. It’s clear she truly loves what she does. I highly recommend her services and will definitely be booking with her again

I had such an amazing experience! He was absolutely wonderful with my dog and took great care of him. I’m very picky about who I trust to watch my pup, but he went above and beyond sending me pictures, keeping me updated, and making sure Mateo had everything he needed. He also has a nice backyard that my dog loved, and he kept him well-fed and happy the whole time. I felt completely at ease and will definitely be booking with him again!
