About: With over a decade of pet-care experience, Im well acclimated to all kinds of furry and non-furry friends. From age 10-17, I had my own dog, and watched dogs and cats across my neighborhood. I became familiar with walking multiple dogs at once, and cat care. During college, I worked at a non-profit animal rescue, where I learned skills ranging from raising puppies from birth to adoption to administrating vaccines and medications to dogs with complex medical needs. I worked with feral dogs, weaning mothers, and dogs with a wide range of behavioral needs. I’ve lived with both cats and dogs, so I’m also familiar with the quirks of existing in a home with your furry friends! For those who have unconventional pets, I’m always open to loving on them as well. I owned three pairs of rats throughout grade school and college, and even trained them for name recall. I am an animal lover at my core, and will be your best friends advocate while caring for them! I will be working part-time, so I have plenty of time to come play with and love on your pets! I am also very active, so am very open to hikes or daily adventures if you have high-energy dogs that need extra time. For smaller friends, I am open and able to bringing them into my home, but for cats and dogs, please plan to have me come to you! I am a huge advocate for meeting animals where they are. I will ask you questions about your pet’s personality, and ensure that I’m approaching them in a way that makes them safe and comfortable. Windows and doors are always shut and monitored for those who may have high flight risk pets. I deeply care about your pet’s safety during my stay, so please communicate any additional precautions when we are finalizing pet sitting details!

“Lily seemed to have a great time on her walk with CJ. CJ showed up on time and asked great questions to make sure Lily was safe and happy during their time together. We got lots of pictures and Lily seemed nicely tired after.”

“Addison has been a lifesaver when it comes to finding a reliable walker for our pet. She is caring and responsible and Percy always looks forward to his walks with her. Highly recommended!”

About: Hi loving pet parents! My name is Brooke. I may be new to Rover, but I’m no stranger to pet care and I’m ready to become besties with your pup! I have cared for pets since I was 12-years-old, and I love all dogs, no matter the size, shape, or personality. I've grown up and cared for several breeds - from boxers, to cockapoos, to labs, to frenchies - and I am comfortable taking an energetic pup on a run, or I can be a couch-potato with a dog that loves to cuddle. It's my utmost goal to make your dog feel comfortable, loved, and relaxed while you're away! I work a hybrid-remote job with a flexible schedule. The longest I will be out of the house is 5 hours per day, and I am able to build my schedule around your dogs' needs! I am able to accommodate any routine your pup has, and I will give them all the love they need while you are away. I can easily crate them if needed, or stick to any feeding, exercise, and/or medication schedules you have in place.

“Teresa takes such great care of Sport when she goes on walks! She makes sure to ask about the small details and is very respectful of our home and Sport’s preferences! Thanks so much Teresa!”

“Emily has good communication skills. She's been prompt and reliable in showing up for Dakota's walks. She's attentive to Dakota's senior energy level which I deeply appreciate.”

About: While I currently only own a few cats, I love dogs and grew up with them. I have been sitting for other families pets for a few years now, and have taken care of many different breeds of dogs and cats! I have a strong work ethic, a love for animals, and am very good at time management, helping me keep a schedule for any type of pet and care you need. I have reliable transportation and am more than happy to go above and beyond for whatever type of care your pet needs and desires. In my free time I am an outdoor gal at heart! I like climbing, hiking, biking and craft beer! I look forward to helping you care for your fur baby!

About: I come from a family with a small ranch. Our Blue Heelers are our best friends, coworkers, and security team. I adore all dogs, from farm dogs to lap dogs. They all deserve love and care! I can keep up with the active dogs, or chill with the lazy ones. I have experience giving subq iv fluids and meds by mouth. I get to work from home 3 days a week from May to January. That allows me to work while watching your best friend and family member! Currently I am not able to have dogs board at my home. I do not have a fenced in back yard. I want absolute security for your family member.

“Ari & Nihita are great! Communicative about when they are coming to take Beau for his walk, and leave great updates about how it goes-including pictures of how it went.”

About: I've been around dogs and puppies my whole life. Growing up my brother bred part wolf part german shepherds, and I have experience training puppies. Throughout my life I've lived with and trained chihuahuas, shitzus, terriers, pointers, golden retrievers, poodles, labradors, huskies, hounds and catahoula leopard dogs, as well as mixes and mutts of all kinds. My friends and family rely on me to watch, feed, walk and bathe their dogs for them, as they all claim that I am a dog whisperer. :) I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule. There is abundant green space all around me and I am a very active person and go for walks twice a day with my dog, year round, regardless of the weather. I have a fenced in yard with a large garden and abundant wild life, for this reason I will always be outside to supervise and play with the dogs while they are out there. It is possible for me to use a crate for your dog, if you prefer. I have a sweet, blue heeler/poodle mix who is 3 years old. She is mild mannered and friendly, although she takes a little bit of time to warm up and play with a new dog. Your dog will be a welcome addition to our home and will have fun exploring the area's around my house on walks with us. The Saint Anthony off leash dog park is a couple blocks from my house and I can bring your dog there too if they would like that. :) I am happy to comply with your preferences with your dog. *Please note: if your dog has separation anxiety and you do not have medication for them, or if your dog has destructive tendencies and is not happy in a kennel, do not request a booking with me. I work from home mostly, and have a flexible schedule. However, I will need to leave my house at times. If your dog cannot be left alone for 2-4 hours at a time do not request a booking with me. *Please note: if your dog has separation anxiety and you do not have medication for them, or if your dog has destructive tendencies and is not happy in a kennel, do not request a booking with me. *Please note: if your dog has separation anxiety and you do not have medication for them, or if your dog has destructive tendencies and is not happy in a kennel, do not request a booking with me. I work from home but will leave my house for groceries, ect. I have a fenced in back yard and live next to a lot of green space, Columbia Park, the northeast dog park, rugby field and golf course.

About: i have always been around animals and I love them so much! i’ve had 5 different dogs throughout my lifetime, both during my childhood and up until just a few years ago, and i currently have a cat named zuri. that being said, i am a cat person as equally as i am a dog person, but having a dog of my own just isn’t realistic for my life right now! my schedule is fairly flexible and I am willing to work with yours :-) i work a hybrid remote/in-person job and have a bit of flexibility in my schedule. evenings and lunch hours are the best times for me, and i’m also around most weekends! i try to keep my calendar on the Rover app up to date, but feel free to message with questions. i do have a 10 y/o cat that will be around if you choose to board your dog — just something to consider prior to booking! meet and greets are always a good idea, but i’ll let you make that decision!

About: I’ve been caring for friends’ and family’s dogs since I was a teen, providing plenty of walks, playtime, and pets. I treat every pet like my own. I’ve worked with a range of ages of dogs. I work from home two days a week, which provides me with flexibility. I am finished in the office by 4pm every day. My weekends are pretty free! In my home, pets have a safe, comfortable space with plenty of attention, playtime, and walks. In a client’s home, I follow routines closely—feeding, walking, and providing affection just as they would so pets feel happy and secure.

About: I'm a theatre teacher and dog lover and with school out for the summer, I have some extra time and energy to spend it keeping your furry family member happy, safe, and loved while you're away! As an educator, I bring patience, attentiveness, and a strong sense of responsibility to pet care. Whether it’s energetic walks, relaxing cuddle time, or sticking to special routines, I tailor each visit to your pet’s unique personality and needs. You can count on me for: 🎭 Daily walks, playtime, and enrichment 🐾 Drop-ins, house sitting, or overnight care 🦴 Feeding, meds, and updates with adorable photos 🏠 Respectful, tidy care of your home during visits I co-parent a sweet rescue Pitanese named Atlas, but he will not be present in my home when your dog(s) come to stay. I will only care for one dog family in my home at a time (up to 2 dogs.) As a devoted dog parent, I know how important it is to trust someone with your family member(s), and I’d be honored to provide a reliable, loving presence while you’re away. Let’s connect—I can’t wait to meet your furry family! I will be off from my teaching job throughout much of the summer, so will have a very flexible schedule to spend with your pet(s)! I live in the bottom unit of a duplex home and have full access to a fully fenced in yard. My upstairs neighbor has a dog, but doesn't use the yard with his dog and exits through a separate entrance. I'm a gardener, so your dog will always be supervised while playing in the yard. We live near trails and a park, so there is plenty of opportunity for enrichment on walks as well. I allow my dog on the sofa, but if this is not a habit you want your dog to pick up, I will follow those instructions. I have past experience giving oral medication, caring for senior dogs, puppies, and dogs in recovery from an injury.

“Kendall stayed with my two energetic dogs for a long weekend. She was great about regular updates and photos and treated my two girls like loved family members. They were not at all anxious when I returned, so I know she was a great choice for them and me. I look forward to booking her for my next trip, because I know they will be in good hands. Thanks Kendall!”

About: I get such joy from animal care and am excited to meet you & your fur baby! I have experience befriending cats, dogs, horses, fish and even amphibians (frogs, geckos, salamanders, axolotls). I’m an avid birdwatcher so I also wouldn’t shy away from an opportunity to take care of a feathered friend. I do best with friendly dogs who are already trained (potty, leash, and behavior) and all types of cats (see Cat Care Details for more info). I’m currently in-between jobs this summer so I have time during the week (generally between 9am-9pm). My exercise plan includes dog walking to really get my steps in. When caring for your pet(s) I will treat them - and your home - like they’re my own. I’m dependable, responsible, trustworthy and responsive, and I want you to feel comfortable knowing that your fur baby is in good hands with me.
