“James and Mary were amazing with Scooter! They sent an update with photos throughout his stay! Scooter enjoys human attention and they showed genuine care. He also made a lot of dog friends. We will definitely be taking Scooter to Mary and James again and highly recommend them to others looking for a good place to leave their furry family member.”

“Karen was a delight from our first meet and greet throughout the process. We were completely confident in her ability to care for our large dog. She was attentive and thoughtful in asking questions regarding his care. We appreciated all the photos and communication while he was at her home. She gave him tons of attention from walks to belly rubs and snuggles. We would recommend her without reservation and look forward to booking with her again!”

“Loves Animals!!! Billy and Baron were well cared for. Alanni was experienced, knowledgeable, and personable. We were well pleased with the care of our puppies and would recommend her in a heartbeat! Thank you Alanni and Rover.com!”

“Deivy and family treat Mercy as if she truly belongs there. I feel completley confident that she's content there. We are repeat visitors for that very reason. She's safe and treated like she belongs. Appreciate the TLC.”

“I was very pleased with the care that Rodney & Marissa gave Spot. They sent several pictures of him and and emails during his stay. I would definitely use them again, and recommend their services to my friends and family.”

“Lydia was fantastic! She welcomed her home to us with her lovely family including her chickens during our meet and greet. We proceeded to boarding 2 nights with her. Her home provided a warm, cozy and energetic vibe for our Poodle who is out going and craves human interaction. Lydia was not familiar with poodle grooming initially but after a quick demonstration and positive feedback she mastered it in no time. I appreciated her attention to detail, ability to communicate throughout the day and her willingness to learn how to care for specific dog breeds. It was a mutual rewarding experience and she even supervised her children doing obedience training with our pup.”

“Virginia and Steven took such great care of my dog. He had a great a few days with them. They kept me updated with daily photos and were very easy to communicate with. Overall, great, hassle-free experience.”

“Terry was awesome! You can tell he has a true passion and love for caring for dogs. He boarded my two Australian shepherds while we were away for our wedding! He sent us photos and updates and reassured me that everything was going great. It was refreshing to not have to worry about the dogs while we were away celebrating and enjoying time with each other! I definitely recommend booking with Terry.”

“I felt comfortable leaving my pup with Nicolas. His home a was clean and spacious, and his neighborhood was suitable for dog walking. Would definitely recommend and request to board with him again.”

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and cats my entire life and cannot remember a time I didn't love them all. My cat is no longer with me but I still have dogs and would love to care for your pets as I currently do my own. I can handle big dogs and little dogs as well as am willing to clean out your cats litterboxes. I'm happy to tussle with big dogs and take naps with lap dogs anytime! I'm a college student looking for work over the breaks and any pet time over the semester as I'll be away from my own. I'm happy to work around my class schedule to be with your pets as much as possible. I have a mostly fenced yard with the only opening being the driveway but intend to do walks and keep pets leashed just for safety. My own home has two dogs that are great with other dogs, both of them being on the smaller side and great with people as well. When I'm up at school there will be no other pets up there and the space will be fully for your pets. I'm also able to do house sitting, walks, and drop-ins for your pets to make sure your pets are getting love and attention when you're away.
“Cola was well taken care of for her overnight stay with Auana! I received photo updates and they treated her like one of their own! Even going the extra mile to brush her and send her back so happy :)”

“Virginia was amazing. Our dog loved being at her house with her two dogs and was thoroughly worn out after playing at her house all day. Will definitely be using Virginia again.”

“Jenna took great care of my mixed pit-bull breed dog, Nox; Jenna dealt with Nox’s aggressive behavior in a safe professional manner. Nox loved her daily walks and the love she received from the whole family. I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience, and I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a loving and professional dog-sitting experience!”

“Priscilla did an amazing job taking care of our little one. Communication was great and she sent us so many wonderful pictures that we loved receiving each day. She and her family were great with our pup and I will definitely be booking future visits .”

“Just picked up my pups from staying with Alex for the weekend. They had a great weekend playing with Reese. Alex sent us pics of them and they were so relaxed and happy. They look forward to staying again!!!”

“We are so grateful to Long and his family for taking such wonderful care of Bella! They included her as a part of their family and gave her a lot of attention. We hope she will be able to stay with them again the next time we are away.”
“We booked with Lorenzo and his wife last minute for an overnight stay. They were quick to respond, so friendly, and made us feel very comfortable leaving our dog Nylah. We got tons of updates and pictures. Thank you again!”

“Lingli was an amazing sitter and cared for my sweet boy with so much care and compassion. While away for a week, I was sent tons of photos and videos during Dill’s stay. I highly recommend Lingli and will definitely continue using services in the future. I know that while I am away, my sweet boy will be in great hands, in a safe environment.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Marriottsville
This is our second time having our pup Niko stay with Karen and her family and we are so grateful! We joke that while we’re on vacation, Niko is also on vacation at Karen’s house because he is so well taken care of. We definitely recommend Karen and her family!

Our dog is usually very shy but she loves Michelle and her mom. She almost didn’t want to leave after staying with them a few days. I’m so grateful to have found someone I trust to watch her while we are away. And we also love the pictures and videos she sends of her during our trip!

Lydia took wonderful care of my 2 Goldens & sent lots of photos and updates without even having to ask. Our dogs got lots of love from her whole family and cared for them as if they were their own dogs. They had a lot of outdoor time in the large yard and came home very happy. I would absolutely rebook with Lydia and I highly recommend her!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
