About: I’ve had animals my whole life and I’ve been known as an animal lover since I was a little kid. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind and size through the years. I frequently pet sit for family and friends. I know it's hard to be away from your pets and it’s my goal to provide them with the best care possible, so you can feel comfortable leaving them. I truly enjoy loving on your pets and making them feel at home while you have to be away. I have experience with diabetic dogs and needing to give insulin shots. I am comfortable administering medications. I have trained two different puppies and have experience with senior dogs as well. Through the obedience training we went through I have learned how to read dog body language and how to properly handle different situations. I am a stay at home mom and I homeschool our 4 children. We are home all day most days, which allows us to be able to give your pet lots of attention and the care it needs. My children love to play and be around dogs too! I have a fenced in backyard which makes potty breaks easy and often and is great for chase and fetch. I also have 2 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company and to play with. There are lots of sidewalks around my house for walks if that is what your pet likes/needs. I will treat your pet the way it is used to at home. If they prefer to be crated, I can do that as well. Thank you for the opportunity to care for your dog!

About: Hi! My name is Olivia and I love caring for dogs of any size! I have plenty of experience dog sitting and am more than willing to provide you with references of past clients. Your pets will be able to cozy up on the furniture! I also have a golden doodle and mini aussie doodle of my own to keep them company and entertained! They both love having other dogs stay with us and are very friendly too. We have a fenced in backyard perfect for zoomies. We also allow dogs on our furniture and they can sleep in my bed with us at night. There is also a spare bedroom they could sleep in or they can sleep on the couch too. I’m very flexible with scheduling and usually available last minute too! I work a split shift for a Doggy Daycare which means I’d only be gone for 4 hours at a time! My Husband works from home often and would be available to play and care for your pup too! We keep a very close eye on all pups who stay in our home! I only accept 1 family at a time because I don’t want to risk 2 dogs not getting along with one another. We have a large fenced in backyard to keep them safe while they run and play. When I’m at work- I regularly check the video camera in our home to check up on the pups❤️

About: I have had such a huge passion for animals since I was young and I have rescued many strays over the years. Now, I live on a farm with 2 dogs and 2 (rescued) cats. One dog is a senior so I have experience with caring for older animals and handling with sweet care. My husky also loves playing which would be great socialization for your pets too. I don't crate my animals so just know they have the space to hang out and you'll get lots of pictures! I work from home full-time as a mental health therapist so I have plenty of time to take them potty, out for a walk, let them play in the yard, and get some energy out. I have a friendly Husky who would love to play, lots of space to roam, and an unnatural amount of toys! I don't crate my animals but if your dog need his own space, I have a pet room they can relax in or hang out with me in my home office. Safety is extremely important to me, so your dog will be leashed when out in the yard or on walks, and I'll protect them like I do my own.

16. Morgan K.
“Where can I even begin to express the gratitude my family has for Morgan. She has become a member of our family ever since we were first were introduced 4 years ago by a mutual friend. My wife and I needed someone to watch our beloved Sparky (8y/o Golden Retriever) as we planned to travel out of state for a couple of days to watch our Daughter participate in the Division 3 NCAA Midwest Regional Quarterfinals for Badminton. Sparky used to be a very tame and mild mannered dog but... Ever since the accident at the dog park when he was 5 years old, Sparky wasn't the same. Sparky required a daily regiment of medication to help with the injuries from the dog park accident. The major injuries included blindness, a severed paw, depression, and cynophobia(fear of dogs). To make matters worse... The depression lead to Sparky lacking the desire to do anything and over eating, thus causing him to be diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. All of these issues led Sparky to become very disgruntled/irritable which often resulted with him biting people. I shared the long list of these issues with Morgan and she wasn't phased for a moment. Morgan smiled and said how excited she was to meet Sparky. My Wife and I couldn't believe we found someone willing to watch Sparky. My Wife and I felt worried for Morgan and somewhat felt guilty so as we were travelling the first day, we texted to ensure everything was going okay. Morgan replied with a selfie of her and Sparky, each bearing the biggest grin imaginable. Along with the selfie Morgan texted us saying, "Sparky and I are having a great time! Don't worry about us and go cheer on Cynthia to get that win!."(Cynthia being our Daughter) My Wife and I intended on staying only 2 days due to our expectations in Cynthia's performance. However, Cynthia exceeded all expectations and showed promise to make her way to the Regional Finals. I called to inform Morgan our stay may be an additional 4/5 days and she had no issue with it whatsoever! We ended up coming home early due to a freak accident in the Semifinals when Cynthia's opponent served... The shuttlecock stuck her directly in the temple causing her to stumble, which caused her leg to twist and she tore her ACL as well as her MCL, thus ending her college Badminton career. I stepped out of the car and wheeled Cynthia along to gather Sparky and his belongings. Once I approached the door, the next moments changed my family's lives forever... Morgan opened the door and called for Sparky to come from the other room. Sparky turned the corner perfectly, which took me by my surprise because he usually bumps into several objects and/or walls as he makes his way due to his blindness/severed paw. But not this time... Sparky was galloping on 3 legs with a face sporting a smile and panting I haven't seen since before the dog park accident. Sparky immediately approached Cynthia in her wheelchair and observed her knee in concern. Sparky begin sniffing the knee and then proceeded to lick the knee. Cynthia gasped and I became terrified as if Sparky bit her... But no... Cynthia began to weep and then stood on her knee and began to pivot on the injured ACL and MCL. She was healed. Sparky healed her. I began to cry as I didn't know who this dog had become and that's when Sparky looked right at me and winked. I noticed his eyes were no longer cloudy and I was stunned. I tried to find words to express everything going on in my head but Morgan addressed it seamlessly. Morgan said, "Yes, Sparky and I became great Pals! I noticed some potential he had to heal through meditation and exercise! Now he seems to be a happy, good boy that can see now! Right Sparky!" Fast forward 4 years later and Sparky is still with us and healthy as ever! Sparky is 12 years old and no longer on any medication. Sparky now goes to local hospitals on weekends to serve as a service dog/companion. To this day I cannot believe what Morgan was able to do for our Sparky and when I heard that she was going to sign up on Rover I knew I had to share my story so that other families could experience her miracles! Thank you Morgan for all you have done for our family and especially Sparky!”

About: Growing up on a farm set the stage for providing and caring for all sorts of animals. Many years spent showing horses, lambs, goats, market hogs and all sorts of small animals in 4H. After college I started working with standardbred race horses as a groom. Since then for the past 6 years I have worked with racehorses, broodmares and foals. All the while keeping my loyal canines happy. Since having a sweet baby boy in April, I have quit my full time job. On occasion I still work for my fiancé and his families racehorse stable. I am looking to add some fun and exciting new friends to my daily routine! My family and our two dogs Brandi a 6 year old mountain cur / beagle mix and Iggy a 6 month old mini Aussie/beagle mix live in a quite neighborhood with a recently added privacy that backs up to a woods. Our home is secured by Nest security cameras. Your family members would be welcomed into our home or given their own privacy room or kennel depending on their individual needs. If your 4 legged family member is more comfortable staying at their own home, playing in their own yard and walks in a familiar neighborhood, I also offer that!
