About: Growing up with dogs, especially Golden Retrievers, has given me a lifetime of love and experience. My journey began as a kennel tech at a veterinary office, where I learned how to care for dogs with diverse needs, from specialized diets and medication to post-op care and lots of playtime. I even worked as a kennel tech at a doggie daycare in college, picking up countless tips for handling all kinds of personalities. After losing my Golden Retriever, Gonzo—my loyal friend through my teenage years—I chose not to get another dog. But for the past 25 years, I’ve been the go-to caregiver for friends’ dogs, showering them with the same love and attention I would for my own. I bring both experience and a heart full of affection to every pet I care for. I’m currently working part-time, primarily in the evenings and on weekends, which leaves me with plenty of free time to care for your dog. I’m also home every night, so you can rest assured that your pup will have company and attention if they’re boarding with us. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply extra cuddles, I have the flexibility to give your dog the care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I am CPR & First Aid Certified for Dogs & Cats through American Red Cross. Our home is set up with a concrete block fenced backyard with two secure gates, so dogs have a safe space to play. We also have a large pool with a safety fence to ensure that kids and dogs can’t accidentally access it. Our home is completely smoke-free, and we don’t have any other pets, so your dog will be the center of attention. With two adults and one gentle 10-year-old child in the house, your pet will be cared for in a calm, loving environment.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, and 24 years ago I had the wonderful privilege of becoming a pet owner myself. Over the years, I’ve cared for countless pets for family and friends while they were away—and I’ve enjoyed every single moment. Today, I have a dog of my own and also care for outdoor cats, so I truly understand how important it is to keep your pets happy, safe, and loved while you’re gone. I originally started Rover with my daughter, a proud UCF graduate, and I’ve loved the experience so much that I’ve continued on my own! Currently, I’m not working a full-time job, which means I have the time and flexibility to give your pets the attention they deserve. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or snuggles, I’m here to help in any way I can. I look forward to taking care of your furry family members as if they were my own! I will spend the time with your furry loved one and take care of them in anyway you need. I’m very patient with our furry friends. About: What sets me apart from other sitters? I’ve been professionally pet sitting for 5 years and grew up with all kinds of animals, from high energy pups to seniors needing a little extra care. I’m calm, reliable, and really tuned in to what each pet needs to feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m super flexible and can easily fit pet care into my day, whether it’s early mornings, late nights, or anytime in between. No matter the time, I’m ready to give your pets the attention and care they deserve whenever you need it. I’ve done a lot of in home pet sitting, so I’m very experienced in respecting clients’ spaces and following instructions closely. I treat every pet like my own fur baby making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

About: I have been an animal lover and owner since the day I was born. I grew up on a farm so I have cared for all kinds of animals including cats, and the loves of my life, DOGS! I will talk to, feed and pet anything that crosses my path. I promise to love and care for your pet as if they were my own. I work from home, so I have plenty of flexibility to drop in on your baby(ies), take them for walks and/or have them stay in my home while you're away for the day. I live in a very dog and walking friendly neighborhood and have (2) friendly pooches that love to make new friends and invite them to join us on their daily walks.

“Jaden did a great job walking our dog. She came over for a meet and greet before the first walk and our pup instantly liked her. She showed up on time and sent adorable pictures of him on their walk. I've already rebooked Jaden for next week. She will be our go-to walker while my husband and I are at work.”

Karen R.Star Sitter
“When my daughter was young, we had to keep after her to feed our dog and take care of him. We had a cat who showed up one day and she was our pet for several years, but she ended up with cancer. By this time, my daughter was a teenager and we went together with the cat to the vet. She handled it well as the vet took care of her and it sparked her interest in animal care. After that, she started taking complete care of our dog and ended up working as a kennel tech our veterinarian's office, as well as at an aviary. That's when she decided she wanted to be a veterinarian. She chose not to fulfill her dream of being a vet, but she has always loved and done well with animals. Instead of being a vet, she graduated from University of Florida with a degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, where she learned about a wide variety of animals and plants. While at UF, she was a kennel tech at a doggie day care. She also frequently volunteered with Operation Catnip to assist with the pre-op and post-op care of stray cats being spayed and neutered. I know she would be a great asset to Rover and I have complete confidence she would be able to handle any situation with the dogs.”

Mariners Village dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jamie is a gem. She is very flexible and kind. She dealt with Dusty most of the time via my disabled Mom and handled it all like a pro. Dusty can be very barky especially at first and that didn’t phase Jamie. She even took care of Dusty for 2 extra appointments that weren’t scheduled in advance. I highly recommend Jamie and will use her again when the need arises.
