Danielle took excellent care of my cat, ensuring they were well-fed, happy, and given plenty of attention. The updates and photos were such a relief, especially during such a busy time of year. About: I have an Australian Shepherd named Dexter who I love taking on all kinds of adventures! He's been across the country, on multi-day backpacking trips and up mountains! I walk or run my dog at least once everyday. He comes with my on any adventure that he can. I think its our duty as owners to make sure our dogs are physically and mentally stimulated while keeping them safe. Exercising a dog is great but you also want to make sure they are safe. On dog walks, this means bringing plenty of water and monitoring them to make sure that the physical activity is something they are still enjoying by looking for signs of distress.

About: Hello! My name is Lauren and I have been taking care of animals on and off since I was a little girl. I have sat for puppies, seniors, cats, dogs, and everything in between. I have a bird and three dogs of my own, including a Saint Bernard. I love animals and I am hoping to get to meet some new ones before my graduation. I am a running start student so my weekdays are very flexible and open. I work at a daycare center on Sunday mornings, but aside from that, my weekends are completely free. Because of my flexible schedule, I am able to take pets on walks/potty breaks as often as needed. I always make an effort to tidy up toys or the home in general before leaving and I am very comfortable crating/feeding/playing with dogs of any size.

“I had an additional house showing get booked for later in the afternoon that Teagan was going to care for our pup and she was able to attend both bookings and relieved a lot of stress for me.”

About: Having cared for my Golden Retriever for several years, I understand the importance of providing exercise, companionship, and mental stimulation during walks. I am well-versed in various aspects of pet care, including maintaining a balanced diet, ensuring regular veterinary visits, and grooming. My hands-on experience has equipped me with the skills to handle dogs of different sizes and temperaments with patience and positive reinforcement techniques. I am committed to ensuring the safety and happiness of the dogs I walk, and I believe in my dedication and love for animals. I am working at home and taking a part-time job. About: I am experienced with the exuberance and chaos of the puppy stage, the dispositions of adult dogs, and to the physical and behavioural changes present in senior care. I currently work part-time at an exceptional kennel in the Fraser Valley, and balance self-employment on the side. This has allowed me the opportunity to dote on my favorite four-legged species, utilize my innate people skills, and provided me the opportunity to pursue long term goals. I can easily adapt to and maintain your pet’s feeding/walking/potty schedule. Your dog’s safety is my #1 priority. For the younger and/or energetic dogs, I have a very friendly and energetic 2 year old golden retriever who would be more than happy to engage your dog in play.

About: Years ago my Mother gave me a card. It said, “The more I know men the more I love my dog.” My family has always had dogs and cats too. Once having a discussion with my guy he said, “even the dog ranks higher than me!” A dog is more than a pet. They are a companion who loves unconditionally. Who is ready to play or not. Will always listen and never rejects a belly rub. I genuinely prefer canines over people. Recently read the book “Dog Sense.” There is so much more about these wonderful creatures that it should be required reading before anyone takes on the responsibility of owning a companion. I will give your family member the respect and genuine kindness it deserves. Thank you for your consideration.
