I've had the privilege of raising and caring for four incredible dogs, each of whom I lovingly called my "kids." They weren't just pets—they were cherished members of our family. One of my beloved dogs, Gigi, developed diabetes later in life, which required daily insulin injections and eventually led to blindness. My home features a secure, fenced-in yard with both grassy and paved areas, giving dogs plenty of safe space to explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors. I also know how important peace of mind is for pet parents. You'll receive regular photo and video updates, along with messages letting you know how your furry family member is doing, so you can relax knowing they're in caring hands. My goal is simple: to love and care for your dog the same way I cared for my own—with patience, kindness, compassion, and lots of hugs, kisses, belly rubs, and affection. When your pet is with me, they'll be treated like family. I currently have flexible availability throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends, which allows me to provide plenty of time, attention, and companionship to the pets in my care. If your dog is crate-trained or you're more comfortable having them in a crate or exercise pen during certain times, I'm more than happy to follow that routine. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.
