She messaged frequently in the first 24 hours to keep us updated on how Mookie was settling in, and sent plenty of photos during the entire stay. We could tell from the photos that he was clearly comfortable in his home-away-from-home. He and Toby were great playmates in the fenced-in backyard, and he Devorat were fast friends, with plenty of couch cuddle-time. Knowing Mookie was well cared for really helped us enjoy our family trip. In addition to her care and attention to Mookie, Devorat also offered accommodation and flexibility in the drop-off and pick-up scheduling to make things as easy as possible for us as we nailed down our travel plans at the last minute. I really appreciated her communication throughout the visit, and I could tell from her updates that she was really taking time to get to know our dog, and that he was in the best possible hands. About: Ever since I was a kid, my heart would joyously melt in front of any and every four legged friend. I love getting to know other animals, and take care of them as if they were my own. I got my start pet sitting by looking after my friends and neighbors’ dogs and cats on occasion. At present, my longest cat sitting gig was 3 weeks straight in which I stayed with my fur friend for ~6-8 hours a day just to keep her company. I work remotely, so my workstation is mobile. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

My workstation is mobile, so if desired, I can keep your pet company for extended periods of time during the day. I’m also available all day on the weeknds. I have 2 dogs that I love dearly and walk 2-3 times every single day at routine times. I brush them frequently, I strap on little booties for their paws daily to protect them from the hot pavement, and I play with them to their little hearts content.

About: I love pets. In my experience, pets our part of family and I will treat them as such. I have care for pets for over 30 years and am able to handle 5-8 dogs. I do pet care full-time. I am always home watching the dogs and cats, making sure they are safe. Pets will never be home alone and we follow strict food or medicine schedules if necessary. Pets are always being watched. They will never be left home alone when boarding. We have a fully gated yard that is impossible for dogs to escape.
About: I understand the importance of trust and punctuality when leaving your pet in the care of others. I am committed to caring for your animals well, and communicating with you regularly. I have a large partially fenced yard with a dog run. My home is five minutes from the train station and has a large walkable park for the dogs to walk at. We have a lab/greyhound mix that loves making friends and two cats that can be cordoned off to their own space if needed. They are all very mild mannered and friendly with up to date immunizations and regular flea and heart worm medication. Ive been watching dogs in our home for since 2015 and walking them for longer. I do not take more than one family's animals at a time. My two daughters love to play with and spoil the animals. We do allow them on the couch but not on our bed. I have some experience caring for elderly or special needs dogs and will consider them on a case by case basis. I love the opportunity to meet and care for new animals while also supporting the people in my community. I work hybrid and have good flexibility to come home or work from home in order to care for our animals or take them for walks. Someone is home 80% of the time during the week. When we let animals out in our yard, they are chained on a lead while we stand out with them. During walks we make sure that animals do not get close to other people's animals. I understand the unpredictability that can come when mixing animals and I am sure to safeguard any animals in my care. We also ensure that we keep our home extra tidy during visits to prevent accidental ingestion of unwanted items.

I have been a foster mom for over 10 years on Martha’s Vineyard, for dogs that were resucued from St. John. “Devorat is an absolute dream. She is truly the pet-parent that you want if you have to be away from your own pet. My dog Mookie stayed with Devorat for 5 days and nights on very short notice. She messaged frequently in the first 24 hours to keep us updated on how Mookie was settling in, and sent plenty of photos during the entire stay. We could tell from the photos that he was clearly comfortable in his home-away-from-home. He and Toby were great playmates in the fenced-in backyard, and he Devorat were fast friends, with plenty of couch cuddle-time. “Anely was very informative, professional in taking care of our Siberian Husky, Orka. She sent us videos, photos, every time she took our pet for a walk and more while he is resting. She let us know about all the details, how much food our pet had, how much he slept.. I took my dog for a walk before leaving him with Anely.
