“Eileen came over 2 times a day for 3 days to take care of our two dogs and cat while we were away on vacation and she did a wonderful job! My big dog can be a little weird when it comes to meeting new people but Eileen was very patient and by her last visit, my dogs and cat ADORED her! She was awesome and if the opportunity arises again and we get to travel, I will definitely be contacting Eileen to help us! She was great with communication and response times and she made sure we were extremely comfortable leaving the animals for our trip! Thanks Eileen!”

“We were on vacation and we’re staying in a motel so we couldn’t leave our dog, who would most likely bark, in his crate there when we were out to dinner. That is when I found her on Rover.com. Lyndsay was just great. She was extremely detailed in her note taking about our dog as she was gathering information. She asked great questions. She arrived on time and took pictures of our dog during her time with him. Our dog seemed happy when we returned. It was great to be able to have an evening out and not to have to worry about our dog.”

“Best communication! Sweetest pictures. It’s hard to be away but necessary sometimes, and great care for your pets makes so much difference in comfort. Thank you so much!”

“Haley checked on our 2 cats for us while we were away on vacation. She was very punctual and sent us updates/photos the entire time. We would definitely love to have her watch our fur babies again in the future!”

About: Furry friends have always been a part of my family, starting with my first big brother, a fluffy cat named Spike! With over 13 years of experience caring for cats, dogs, hedgehogs, and more, I'd love to help your pet feel loved while you're away. I've helped raise three litters of puppies (ask me for pictures!) and taken care of my aging black lab and calico kitty as they passed over the rainbow bridge. Nervous or shy pets are welcome! Whether you need a sitter while on vacation or a reliable doggy day walker, I’m here to help 💕 I work remotely, so I am available throughout the day whenever your pet needs a walk, play time, or a solid snuggle. While I'm with your pet, I'm on their schedule! I have experience with crate training, medication administration, and know how important it is to keep pets stimulated, especially when their family is away! I have a fenced-in yard with lots of room to roam. I also try to avoid walking on pavement for too long between 11 and 3, as the sidewalks are too hot for paws. I'd be happy to take your friend on beach walks or strolls through the Nags Head woods.

“I had no problems with Lauren as she watched my cat Jimi. She did what she was asked to do. I would hire her again, if needed. I appreciated the updates with pictures. Thanks again, Lauren.”

This is my only focus at the moment so my availability is completely open every day. Preferably I am available after 10 AM because I have my own animals to take care of. I have a large fenced in yard and an extremely friendly dog to keep yours company, as well as a happy cat! I also have a large car that can easily transport your pet(s) if needed. I make sure to take care of my animals, and others, by providing lots of love, affection, and mental stimulation to provide the best experience possible for the animals I work with.

About: Hi! I’m 26 and have over 7 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve worked with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I don’t have a pet of my own right now, so pet sitting is a great way for me to stay connected to animals—and give them the care and attention they deserve while you're away. I work remotely, so my schedule is flexible and I’m able to give your pet consistent attention throughout the day. Whether it’s a midday walk, playtime, or just some extra company, I’m around to make sure they’re well cared for. I have a fully fenced yard that’s perfect for safe outdoor play and fresh air. For pets staying with me, I treat them like they’re my own—making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home.

“Kayla is a stand up dog sitter. She spent a lot of time with our dog Thor. She was always on time and sent pictures and updates. We will be booking her again. We are so happy she was available for Thor. 💙🐾”

About: Hi I'm Sara! I have a lot of experience with pets, as I've grown up with a variety of of them including dogs, cats, turtles, and more. I have also fostered then adopted a kitten since she was 3 weeks old, bottling her through the night. I have a great understanding and love of all kinds of animals, and I have experience with administering medications to pets. I look forward to meeting you and your pet, and I will treat your pet like they are a part of my own family because I know that they are such an important part of yours! I work full-time, but am available during the evenings and for an hour in the afternoons. I am also available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays all day. I will take special considerations while caring for your furry friend at your home. I will respect your home as my own by cleaning up after myself and following all your rules and instructions.

About: I have nine cats of my own and work as a cat care technician, so I’m experienced with all types of cats. I know how to administer shots and medication, including caring for my own diabetic cat. I also had two cats who lived to be 17 and 16 years old, which taught me a lot about long-term care and commitment. I work from 8 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 5 PM on weekdays, with rotating weekends. On weekends, my shift ends at 2 PM. I would visit the cat’s home to feed them, clean their litter box, socialize with them, and take care of any other necessary tasks. To make sure they’re comfortable and well kept! I would visit the dogs home, feed them, let them go potty, and help them burn off some energy.

“Cindy went above and beyond to make sure that myself and my pooch were comfortable. Its obvious that Cindy truly understands dogs needs- she gave Yossi lots of exercise and stimulation and when he was tired and she could sense that, she let him rest. She sent lots of pictures so I knew he was in good hands... she has great communication with humans and great communication with animals too. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!”

“Ann continues to provide excellent support for our cat. Timely and detailed reports make it very easy for us to keep up with our cat while we’re away”

Sara K.
“I've known Sara since she was in elementary school, and as far as I know, she's never harmed a single minute soul on this planet. She even takes the time and care to take a small SPIDER outside if it's stuck in the house, which is something I wouldn't bother to do. She and I have been a part of a small four-person squad since high school, and the three of us have always known her to be the most proactive and genuine when it comes to animals. She is especially passionate when it comes to sharks, which are her favorite animal. At an Oktoberfest in our town, she had this shark booth set up for four years straight informing people about the dangers of shark finning and how we should protect and support the wildlife in the ocean. This is also supported by the fact that she's majoring in Wildlife and Fisheries at her college. ALSO, she had a summer internship this year working at a wildlife rehabilitation center! She took care of so many different animals, and there's tons of pictures of her feeding and helping little birds, snakes, turtles, and other creatures. All I'm saying is that if there were a pet-sitting website for all animals, Sara would be the best person for the job because of her background in rehabilitation and classroom knowledge of wildlife. She also owns two cats and used to have two turtles.”

Harmony H.
“Harmony watched my pups while I was out of town. They absolutely loved her. I have one 2 year old Goldendoodle and a 13yo goldador who are both very energetic. she sent me pictures of them playing with her everyday! When I got home I was so happy to see two happy dogs.”

Bailey C.

“Bailey was great with our pups. They were very comfortable with her and she took extra special care of our senior guy. We will definitely book with her again.”

Amanda E.
“Amanda is phenomenal with my dogs! Lucy, Ronan, Angus, and Navy are always happy to see her. I travel a lot and she is flexible when she can be. She has always been down to take my dogs on adventures when she can. Last time I gave her 3 days notice and she was able to take my dogs while I was off shore working. My lucy isn't a people or other (bonded) dog person and I swear she would live with Amanda if she could! Amanda treats dogs like they are kids, you won't be disappointed trust me, she's the best!”

Madison H.

“Madison was great! She came to our house in advance for a meet and greet and learn what needed to be done. She was on time every day, took good care of our birdies, and spent time visiting with them. We would definitely use her again!”

Khinza D.

“We've used quite a few pet sitters in various locations and I have to say that Khinza is the best! She's great at communicating and sent us pics of our dog and cat while we were gone. When we came home, everything looked great - water was topped off, pet dishes clean, yard was poop-scooped. Our cat is not the friendliest and she even got him to lay on her lap! We highly recommend Khinza for anyone looking for an in home pet sitter.”
