“Pat has been coming by to take my 5 month old puppy, Andy, out for the past week and give him some playtime out of the crate while I'm away at work. The pictures he sends always make my day as Andy always looks so happy for his visits! Pat always makes sure to update me with notice about what is going on so we are prepared for the next week and always keeps me in the loop for the visits. Would definitely recommend for any pet care needs!”

About: In the past, my Aunt had 2 dogs that I absolutely loved taking care of. I would willingly bathe them, play with them, walk them, and even pick up their poop sometimes! I also really enjoyed practicing some training techniques that I was able to help her implement. Getting to know your dog and you are my top priority-your interactions can tell me everything I need to know! I am starting my college journey at UConn as a freshman this August, and am looking for a part time job that I love, and that is flexible, so that I may continue to fund my college career! I find that caring for a pet in a familiar environment is extremely beneficial to your pets-it causes them less stress, and gives you peace of mind! It gives me the ability to keep them following their normal routines within their normal space, and still making sure that they are happy and safe.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. Even through college and grad school, I had roommates with pets. Now I’m living in a rental that doesn’t allow animals, so I’m hoping to find some local pets to care for and spend time with! I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages and activity levels since I was young, and I enjoy taking dogs for walks any time of year! I’m a middle school teacher, so I have a pretty consistent schedule from August-June. Most days I’m able to leave work by 3, so I have all afternoon and evening to care for pets. In the summer and on breaks, I have a lot more flexibility with my schedule. I do have a small fenced in yard in case I had a client’s pet in my home, though I’d more than likely care for the pets in the client’s home. I have experience feeding, bathing, crating, giving meds, walking, and snuggling dogs of all ages and activity levels, as well as feeding and giving meds to cats.

I’ve looked after dogs of all ages—from playful puppies to slower-moving seniors—and I’m comfortable with things like crate training, giving medications, and sticking to your pet’s routine. I truly love being around animals. I treat every dog like family, making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Whether they need lots of playtime or just a calm, cozy space, I adapt to meet their needs. Even with a busy schedule as a student-athlete, I always make time for pet care. I’m available mornings, during the day, evenings, and weekends, and I’m willing to adjust things to make it work for you and your pup! When caring for pets in your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they get their walks, meals, playtime, and any special care they need... all while respecting your space and keeping everything tidy. They’ll have a safe space, plenty of attention, and lots of love!

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I grew up with a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Once married, my husband and I rescued two Black and Tan Coonhounds and most recently we rescued two Redbone Coonhounds. We currently have one dog, Cliff, who is a Redbone Coonhound. He is like most dogs - spoiled! We usually take three walks a day…it’s what we do and love! We have also fostered a handful of dogs for local animal rescues. I am looking forward to helping other people with their dog's needs! Thank you! I work from home except on Mondays when I go to the office. I am very fortunate to have a flexible schedule that allows me to fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine. Safety is incredibly important when it comes to pet care. We have an electric fence at home that our dog is completely trained on so he's lucky to have the freedom to come in and out as he wants. Using proper leashes and harnesses is very important to me when walking dogs in addition to always having water on hand.

When I am home from breaks I enjoy taking out my two pups for a walk, or taking them on a car ride to the dog park! Personal home not suitable for pet watching. About: I’ve taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. Many friends, family members, and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their pets, walk them, feed, and bathe them. I currently work full-time as a physician assistant in the hospital. My schedule changes weekly, but I only work three days a week. I am free the remaining days off. In my years with dogs, I have dealt with crate trained, leash trained, fenced in yards, and much more. I am willing to follow the client schedules and adapt to each family.

About: My family has always had pets. In my adulthood, I have owned and trained a yellow lab and chocolate lab and currently have a black lab named Kingston. He is my best friend and his amazing. We also have a tabby cat named Biggie Smalls. He is very sweet. I am looking forward to the opportunity to spending time with your amazing pet friends and caring for them as if they’re my own. I am a 20 year teacher with the summers off and I’m available six days a week.
