She knew we had just taken in our Gracie as a rescue pug and gave her all the extra love and snuggles that she needed to feel safe and loved ....she spent lots of extra time in our home to ensure they didn't feel our absence even working remotely at our place which was great for our pugs/cats. She kept us informed of daily events and sent lots of snuggle snaps which made us feel better. Kristi even left us homemade biscotti for our return home. About: I’ve always felt a special connection to animals and I love spending time with them. I grew up with 4 dogs, 5 cats, and 2 rabbits, so I’m comfortable around lots of different animals! About: I've been taking care of animals since 7th grade. My family had their own dog and I used to care for animals around the neighborhood including cats and other animals. I take care of my former co workers dogs and my dad's dog. I'm a very active person, so I love to play outside and go for walks. I work as a teaching assistant full time and school gets out at 2:15 so I have plenty of time in the afternoon most days and could always take time off if needed for a long weekend. Plus school breaks I have plenty of time. I live in an apartment that has small dog parks outside. I'm very comfortable with letting dogs out in fenced in areas and taking them on leash for walks.

About: I’ve had pets since I was a child. Dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, birds - you name it. I’ve always been an animal lover and even wanted to be a veterinarian until I found out was euthanasia is. In my adolescence, I began pet sitting and volunteering with the SPCA (where we adopted all of our pets); small and big dogs, and sometimes multiple at a time. I started to experiment with training and enjoyed teaching tricks and obedience commands. When I turned 19, I inherited my family dog, Rocco, and we became best friends. My favorite memories from those years are taking him to parks and reserves across New York State. In 2025, he got sick and I learned a lot from taking care of him through the end of his life. It was important to me that he felt like a happy, special dog during his last days because he filled my life with so much joy. The day before his euthanasia, I invited everyone who knew him to celebrate his life. He was showered in presents and treats and cuddles and surrounded by humans he loved. Animals share such unique bonds with us. Now, I am looking for opportunities to share my love of animals through Rover. I hope you consider me as your next pet sitter. I am available! My best times are evenings and weekends, with sporadic availability midday during the week.
