About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I show confidence when I'm with a dog so that they know there is trust with me from the beginning. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I am always available after 3:00 p.m. during the week, before 8:00 a.m. or anytime on the weekends. I've got a very pet friendly home. I live in a single story, ranch house that has a fully fenced back yard. I do not have children at home that we would need to worry about and I'm very respectful if needed to go into a client's home. She was obviously familiar with working with diabetic pets when she gave a first injection at our meet up. About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

“Huijun and her husband took excellent care of my boys, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She kept me updated every single day by sending videos and messages, letting me know when they had dinner and when they were settled in for the night. It gave me so much peace of mind to see how comfortable and well cared for they were. In one of the videos, I saw her giving one of my boys cuddles, and he was clearly loving the attention, which meant a lot to me. I had sent them with a full bag of their belongings, and everything was returned exactly as I left it, which I really appreciated. On top of that, my flight ended up being delayed, and they were incredibly understanding and accommodating with the change in timing. Their flexibility and kindness truly stood out. Overall, I was extremely happy with the level of care and attention my boys received. I would absolutely trust them again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and compassionate pet care.”
“Jenna is amazing with animals. I have never been able to leave my pup and feel comfortable. He's a dog with many needs, medical, behavioral you name it. He gets into tons of trouble. She was able to keep him safe qnd happy and he got a ton if exercise and attention just like he was at home. We have even tried a doggy daycare and he was hurt while we were away. Jenna kept him safe. We will be using her again next month!”
“Prior to booking Kara, I hadn’t used Rover in years and was nervous about leaving my dog in the care of another person—we’re attached at the hip. However, I couldn’t have booked a better person. Kara is extremely communicative and caring, and had plenty of space for my pup to run around and explore. She asked lots of clarifying questions prior to booking, and I could tell she really enjoyed and remained curious about the personality of my dog! I received lots of pictures and quick responses. My energetic Staffordshire Terrier, Toto, enjoyed a long weekend of naps and sunshine, and returned to me vibrant as ever! Kara’s awesome care eased any worries I might have had, and I highly recommend her to anyone who might also be a reluctant helicopter parent like I am! If this if your first Rover rodeo, you can proceed with confidence, which is an amazing feeling to have.”
