“Marcella was very attentive to our furbabies! She asked great questions initially, was very timely and spent time with them. They seemed quite happy when we got back. Very good experience!”
About: Hello and thank you so much for your interest in my pet care services! I have over 10 years of professional pet care experience, from dogs, cats and chickens, to fish, birds and even turtles! My experience began while nannying, where apart from caring for children, I took care of their chickens and dogs while the owners were away on vacation! After college and stepping away from a typical career path, I enjoyed being a kennel technician and eventually the assistant manager of a pet boarding facility offering doggy daycare, overnight boarding and grooming services to both cats and dogs. Most recently, I worked alongside a wonderful team of dog walkers serving surrounding towns of central MA! I also have experience with puppies, medical boarding and/or senior care of both cats and dogs. I am comfortable working with dogs of all shapes, ages and sizes! *Pet first aid and CPR trained and certified I am currently available for morning, midday and evening drop-in visits/vacation care, or from 10-3pm Mon-Thurs for dog walking/potty break & playtime visits! I hope to see you and your animal loved ones soon! I am truly grateful for you! :) After working in a pet boarding facility, I greatly appreciate getting to care for animals in their own home. It is much less stressful for the animals, and their pet parents. I have years of experience taking care of animals in their own home, and I value transparency, safety, trust and genuine care for the animals I care for.
“Amelia helped us out by doing drop in visits for our German Shepard when family backed out from watching her while we were away. She also came out to meet our dog even with the short notice! Amelia was great with our dog, Sadie! Sadie was played with and always looked tired for her picture at the end of the visit. We really appreciate Amelia and the amazing care she gave to Sadie! We highly reccommend her!”

“Lindsay was fantastic! We went away for 3 days and Lindsay did a great job taking care of Gracie. She sent us multiple photos each visit and her girls were great with her as well. Lindsay made it easy and stress free as she completed all instructions we provided without any additional questions. I highly recommend and will be using her again! :)”

“Sara was wonderful! My dogs loved her and she even went out of her way to bring them carrots as treats (due to allergies). She came on time and sent me updates that put my mind at ease. I will definitely be reaching out to her again 💕🐾”

About: I have always loved dogs and I grew up with both dogs and cats! I also used to work at a doggie daycare where I helped take care of dogs daily! I’m a college student and I have a good amount of free time on my hands in between classes! I have a dog back at my house and I dog sit so I have a very good understanding of dogs needs! I will always ask about your routines and the best way to go at things. I will also keep in contact with you and reach out if there are ever any concerns!
About: I have a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and four years of hands-on experience working in both a veterinary clinic and a dog kennel/daycare. I’m currently a first-year veterinary student at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, continuing to build my knowledge and skills in animal health and behavior. I’m comfortable administering medications, including injectable medications such as insulin, and have experience caring for dogs with behavioral challenges, including dog-aggressive dogs. My own dog has these challenges, so I understand the importance of patience, proper handling, and creating a safe environment for every pet. I also have experience caring for a variety of animals, as I have a dog and cat of my own. I’m passionate about providing pets with the same attentive, compassionate care I would want for my own. I’ll be starting my first year of veterinary school soon, so my exact class schedule is not set yet. I expect to have the most flexibility in the afternoons and evenings, and I’ll plan my pet care schedule around my classes. My veterinary school schedule may vary from day to day, but I’m committed to being reliable and communicating clearly about my availability. I’ll also have flexibility on weekends and will do my best to accommodate your pet’s needs and routine. I prioritize trust and keeping each pet’s routine as consistent as possible. For overnight stays, I provide a calm, comfortable environment and make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision. For drop-in visits and walks, I follow each pet’s individual routine and instructions, including feeding, medications, bathroom breaks, and exercise needs. With four years of veterinary clinic and dog daycare experience, along with my current veterinary education, I’m comfortable recognizing changes in behavior or health and handling a variety of personalities and needs. I also have experience with dogs who may be reactive or aggressive toward other dogs, so I take introductions, walks, and environmental safety seriously. My goal is for every pet to feel safe and cared for while their owner is away.
“I can’t say enough about how much my boys loved Carley and how amazing she was with them. I’m not sure they even want me home!!! I can’t say enough… she treated my pups like they were her own!!!”

About: I'm good with all animals. I've just always clicked with our little furry friends. No dog is too big and no cat is too spicy. I'm logical, fun, and love playing with animals. I'm currently in a tough job market as AI is really taking over a lot of the software world. I'd love to make a little side hustle money while taking care of our furry friends. I think the most important thing is I treat all animals with love and respect. And I'm not looking to mess up any routines you guys have set. I will execute them for the letter.
“Tori was able to squeeze in my very short notice appointment, she followed every instruction provided and most importantly used the 30ft leash provided so my dog could go to his favorite place to run laps! Couldn’t be happier and would recommend her to anyone looking for reliability! I will be using her again!”
“This was my 2nd time booking with Alison, I was so happy to know she was available for the time I was away again. She’s great to communicate with and always sends tons of photos during her visits 😊”

“Absolutely amazing. My dogs usually take a few visits for them to feel comfortable but within 10 minutes Luna was kissing her and within 30 minutes General was off leash and not paying any attention. He took treats from her no problem.”

About: Hello! 👋 Thank you for visiting my profile! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life—from horses and dogs to cats, ferrets, and just about everything in between. Caring for animals has always been a passion of mine, and over the years I’ve been trusted by family, friends, and neighbors to care for their beloved pets. I’d love the opportunity to care for yours! I have a flexible, home-based schedule that allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and personalized care throughout your pet’s stay. I know leaving your pet with someone new can feel overwhelming, which is why I always recommend scheduling a meet-and-greet beforehand to ensure we’re a great fit. We primarily live in Florida but spend part of the summer at our home in Massachusetts. My calendar is always kept up to date, so you can book with confidence. Your dog will be welcomed into our home as part of the family. We have a fully fenced 6-foot privacy yard for safe outdoor play, and our two friendly resident dogs enjoy making new canine friends. For everyone’s safety, I kindly ask that all pets are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, and on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
About: I currently have a 1 year old English mastiff who is 170 pounds and he is the best boy! He has to walk 2-3 miles everyday, so your pup will be definitely walked until they don’t want to move! I also had a rescue dog who was a Rottweiler mix who was very reactive. He was reactive towards other dogs and people, but luckily I was able to learn from him. I currently work full time during the week, and have to walk my mastiff 2-3 miles after work so he sleeps at night, but the weekends I am able to come walk with your dogs. I do not plan on bringing your dog to my house, but any instruction you need me to follow I will once I am in your home.
About: Hello nice to meet you! I am not simply boarding your pet. I am playing with them and taking them for walks and spoiling them. Im offering services for fun not a necessity. I work from home and your pet will be taken care of and monitored constantly as if it was my own the entire time. Your furry friend is my friend too. Clean & Professional. I have a great career that allows me to work from home. I do rover for fun. When you book with me you are booking someone who gives full attention to your pet. Safety first! I would be scared to leave my dog with someone. All pets deserve a pleasant experience. With me you can feel safe your pet is in good hands, you are welcome to visit my home for boarding!

Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Manchaug. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
