“This was our first time using Rover and I was really nervous about the whole process. We have a 15 year old senior cat, a 2 year old cat, a few chickens and a bearded dragon so it’s a lot to look after. Marcella took great care of everyone and was very communicative with me about the visits. I think she went above and beyond, even bringing my chickens scraps (which they love whenever they get them). She spent extra time with the cats and when I returned home I didn’t feel that my senior cat was stressed at all that we had been gone, and my younger usually outdoor/indoor cat didn’t seem to be upset at having been indoors all week. They both seemed very content so I felt like she spent a lot of time with them. My beardie got extra exercise as well. I would have her take care of our pets again in the future!”

About: I have owned dogs for the last 15 years. I also grew up with dogs my family home and I also cared for a ill cat for two years. I have my own dog Mondays and Tuesdays so I hope to take care of yours on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and Saturday. I recently retired so I can dedicate my time to animals. This works great with my plan to get more exercise. My dog has a huge fenced in backyard and I spend all my time with him when I have him. I always keep him on leash and pick up after him. I also spend much time just cuddling and petting Gizmo also.

About: I have been pet sitting for 10 years, I board and do in home visits, I sit for dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles and even fish! I prioritize animals safety while also providing proper enrichment, walks, hikes, playdates, and play sessions. I am also a Certified veterinary technician. I currently work at a doggy daycare, on days off i'm with pets all day walking and playing. During work days I walk dogs before work and then get a 3 hour break in the middle of the day where I hike with dogs and cats. I have a fenced yard and a friendly cat and a friendly dog at home to keep your pets company. I find hiking trails and safe walking routes to take pets on fun adventures!

I will also give your furry family member the luxury of staying home while you are away. “It was my first time using Rover and to have Jessica as my first sitter was truly the most amazing experience. She was very professional and kind. She paid attention and remembered the things I said. I pointed to the litter manual just in case she needed it but no she READ the whole thing to be prepared. That was just ONE of the many things she did to go above and beyond. The pictures and descriptions she sent made me feel at peace and that my cat was loved and cared for like it was her own. She always showed up even earlier at times, was very detailed with the descriptions of the visits, and took lots of pictures. We had an incident where the fire alarm was going off because of the low battery, I got so nervous my friend had to be the one that texted for me but Jessica acted promptly to handle the situation and made me feel at peace that my cat was doing okay afterwards. Definitely re-booking her every time if she’s available she’s truly great and I can’t recommend her enough ❤️”

About: I started caring for my families pets when I was 6 years old. My neighbors were dog grooming from home, with the occasional cat grooming, so I got to get to know a lot of different things about individual breeds. My husband Evan knows how to train dogs and cats to do just about anything. He is also fluent in asl, a musician, and an artist. I love to give pets my full attention and care because it is relaxing to me. I know a lot of veterinarian technicians as well from my time in trade school. I live near Green Hill Park which is a great place to go for a stroll when the weather is nice. I know what pets are asking for and what to do if anything comes up so if you need special care for your pet they will be safe with me. I am currently available weekends and week nights. If my schedules changes I will update my profile with time off in advanced so that there are no miscommunications or cancellations. I can spend time with your pet playing in the yard or home. I walk pets as frequently as their schedule requires. Every pet has unique care needs. I love to care for pets and give them my full attention. Younger pets are full of energy and love to play so I do my best to get all their energy out so they sleep well and stay healthy. I am able to give pets medication or put them in diapers if required by the owner.
