About: Hi! My name is Mia. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love my dogs; being able to love and take care of my three munchkins is one of my favorite parts of being alive. That being said, half of my heart will always be with animals. I grew up in an incredibly dog-loving family. We unfortunately never had any cats, but I have assuredly tried to change that; unsuccessfully :( From a very young age, I was constantly put in charge of keeping an eye on my dogs while my family was out or had company over. I realized I didn’t mind at all! I currently have three pups! My senior Lab mix, Oreo; a Cavapoo, named Charlie; and a Cockapoo, named Benny. I won't be shy to repeat how much love and joy these dogs give me every day. Since being the token dog-babysitter all my life, my family encouraged me to find a job at my local doggy daycare. I had always admired how much thought and detail they put into their business, and was excited for the opportunity to be surrounded by animals all day, MY DREAM! I ended up being very disappointed, however. It turns out my version of pet care didn’t exactly align with theirs. Since there are SO many animals in that facility, they did everything in a very one-size-fits-all manner. 4 walks a day, feeding, group playtime, next dog. In theory, that was an honorable system with that many dogs in one building. However, I had always wanted to go dog by dog, get to know them, sit in their kennel with them, and take my time. I wasn’t always able to do that due to the system already put in place. I realized each and every animal are so incredibly different and fluid in their own way. They require different things, have different habits, like things a certain way, and have different backgrounds and preferred environments. For example: my dog, Benny, was rescued from a foster family that takes in animals that are up for euthanization. We aren’t fully sure of what Benny’s life was like before that, but we know he was tossed around to households that didn’t treat him the best. This makes him the extremely reactive dog he is today. It is very frustrating to have a pet who attempts to bite every single stranger that he doesn’t know very well, but that makes it all the more worth it. To know that we are able to be that safe, loving family for him; To know that we are working on his anxiety towards new people in the most gentle way possible, like so many other families have failed to do. All of this to say I like to take my time with all puppies and have lots of experience with reactive/senior pets! I prefer to get to know them, adhere to their routine, likes and dislikes, and make sure my care is at the utmost quality as they’d like it. I have fortunately reclaimed my token-dog-babysitter title and have been able to take care of many of my friends’ and family's pets for weeks/days at a time, and would love to do the same with yours! Also PS: I do not require any pet sitters myself, so the “My Pets” tab is empty. All of my babies are in my “Photos” tab. I am currently a college student, so my schedule is pretty much limited to Friday-Sunday for long term care. Along with another part-time job. However, my schedule varies week to week, so if there is any point where you would need care during weekdays, I am completely open to coming up with a solid plan and schedule. I much prefer to go to the clients home, since my three pups don't exactly love the extra company. However, I am very meticulous with the way I treat other peoples spaces and animals, as I have mentioned before. I would not like anyone coming into my home, and not honoring it the way I see fit. I also have a very OCD system, where I ensure everything is clean and where it should be before I leave. Again, this is your home and your system, there is no reason it should be disrupted. All that being said, your pet is my #1 priority. After reading my "get to know me," I am sure you are very familiar with my method and how much time I like to take with animals. I also realize it would be really hard to explain my own dogs specific routine to anyone else, but I WANT YOU TO BE AS SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE! If they will only take medication every night with a certain flavor of pill pocket, or only can be hand-fed their breakfast/dinner; I want to know it all!

About: I’m a dog trainer and animal lover wanting to walk and watch dogs for my community. I professionally train dogs with years of hands on experience from training and walking neighbor’s, family’s, and friend’s dogs. I want to have genuine connections with my returning pups and help maintain peaceful downtime at home. I am familiar with different dog training tools and methods so when caring for your dog I can ensure your pup gets the same structure as they do with you. If supplied with a retractable leash or long line I would love to take your dog to play fetch, run, and explore at a nearby park, beach, or field. I love to tackle puppy behaviors with positive methods and offer tons of solutions to typical puppy shenanigans when dog sitting. Un-house broken, teething, and high energy pooches are welcome and wanted! Wednesday/Friday are my anytime service days! I offer pet sitting, walks, and check-ins all hours of the day. I train dogs privately weekends and Tuesday/Thursday. There are only morning/evening timed services on these days such as walks and check-ins. Mondays I do not offer morning services, but afternoon/evening times are good to go for walking, check- ins, and dog sitting. I want to love and dote on your dog as much as I do my own, showering them in attention and playtime while I’m with them. When walking a new dog I get a rundown of known behaviors, tools, or reactions to be aware of, and will ensure the current methods you use are understood and applied correctly. If there is no preferred method or procedure for walks, I’ll bring my bag of treats, toys and poop bags then off we go! When dog sitting or check-ins let me know your dogs preferred feeding schedules and daily routine so I can keep your dog steady along their regular path. If there’s any house rules I should know for your dog such as no pets on the furniture or in specific rooms I will ensure they’re followed.

About: I’ve taken care of all different types of dogs and different animals for as far back as I can remember as a little girl. I’ve always had a deep and intense love for furry friends. I’m currently available at all times for the time being because I am not employed as of right now. Last minutes are not an issue ! I don’t have a fence in my yard for the time being. I had an invisible one but my dog unfortunately passed away and we got it removed after. I currently don’t have any animals

About: I have always had animals since I was a little girl and cannot imagine a life without them. Things are too quiet when you don’t have a dog to bark at you or a cat meowing. I work full time, but depending on the day or week I have the time to take a walk or have some play time when you need to get things done. When I am giving you my time, you have ALL my attention. About: I have been a dog/cat owner since I was two years old and there is no pet I do not love. I have owned German Shepherds, Australian Shepherds, Mixed breeds, a Papillion, a Great Dane as well as a Himalayan and an Orange Tabby cat. I am able to spend a lot of time with any age pet and treat them as if they’re my own. Being disabled I’m home a lot. I have a fenced in backyard where your dog would be free to run and play. I use a walker. My home has an elevator. Therefore, it is not a problem to let them out frequently. Just let me know what your dog loves and I will make sure they have the best time possible! I do not work. I am disabled. Therefore I’m home a whole lot, probably too much. This enables me to spend quality time with your pet. I have a fenced in backyard. I do not have any dogs or cats of my own. Therefore, I am able to devote all my time and attention to your loved one.

About: I have been around Animals all my life. I grew up on a farm and have catered to many different types of Animals. I have kept everything from Fish to Exotic Animals. My entire life revolves around caring for Animals. I have a 2.5 year old Catahoula Bully Mix and currently keep many Reptiles. I look after my parents Cats any time they go out of town and consistently pick up Animal related side jobs whenever I can.
