About: Growing up around a large quantity of dogs taught me very quickly what they need. I have never not had a dog or cat in my life, and I understand that pets are family. I already go on daily walks and am used to feeding my dog so the needs of other pets would fit very easily into my life. I have one very friendly dog, a fenced yard, and extra leashes/ a crate if needed. I live near parks and in a very walkable area so your pup will get plenty of exercise!

About: Hi, we are Amy and Brandon! About us: We’ve both grown up taking care of a multitude of animals, but mostly cats and dogs. Our pets are our world, and we love giving them the lives they deserve. We would be honored to be able to give your pets that same treatment. About our place: we have a three bedroom house with a fenced in yard. This gives us plenty of room for play, snuggles, and space if we have any dogs that may feel anxious or overwhelmed. We live in a quiet neighborhood with many routes that are great for walks, as well. About the experience: We know it can be stressful for owners and for their pets when going to a new place. Therefore, we would love to hear about your pet’s personality, routines, likes, dislikes, and anything else you may want to share to make this the most comfortable and fun experience! Usually one or both of us will be home but if we ever leave the house our two dogs are crate trained and we encourage bringing a crate if you have one. If not, we have doggy gates we can arrange to keep everyone separate. But, like I said, we’re normally home! Our pets are great about only eating out of their bowls but we still separate your pets while eating to avoid any possible food aggression and prevent them from eating a type of food that may upset their tummies/keep them with what they’re familiar with. We always have plenty of toys and treats (if allowed) to keep your pets feeling happy and loved! We also enjoy sending picture/video updates to give peace of mind if interested! About our family: if you’ve made it this far, we’d love to introduce our pets! We have two dogs. Tucker: our 7-year-old terrier mix. His ideal day would involve endless snuggles, belly rubs, and snacks. Sadie: our 3-year-old golden doodle. She is full of kisses and could play all day long and never need a break. We also have two cats. Boo: our 7-year-old black medium hair. She gets her zoomies at night and spends the day recharging on the couch. Yas: our 5-year-old tabby cat, doesn’t ever get the zoomies but still spends her days recharging in our bedroom. About: Hello Everyone! Our names are Nicole and Cody. Nicole has been surrounded by and caring for animals since she can remember! She used to work at a zoo for 6 years before her time in the military. We both grew up with dogs and cats ever since we could walk. She has volunteered at professional dog shows and helped train K-9 dogs for search and rescue. We both find ourselves preferring to be surrounded by animals if given the option! We are both retired from the Navy and doing what we love full time now! We also like to offer grooming if you choose to stay with us! Rates will vary depending on size and what you are wanting done. We do have a doodle of our own and can provide photos of previous cuts we have done! Please remember we are not professional groomers though! We would love to help if needing anything from just nails trimmed to a bath or a haircut or all of the above! I hope that you all will give us a chance to pet sit for you. For house sitting requests we would ideally like to service all of Whidbey Island! With two of us we do really well balanacing out the boarding and house sittings as we receive them! Any requests off island we are open to discussing but will be a little more difficult depending on dates! The service area map on this app does not do very well on letting me select a specific area so I just wanted to clear that up for anyone!

About: I have cared for dogs of all sizes from the smallest chihuahua to the biggest Great Dane. I have also taken care of my own animals for the past 10 years! I will do anything you need for your pets! I am looking for jobs and this will provide some extra cash until I can find something more permanent so anytime works as long as I have enough notice! I can crate dogs, feed them, groom if needed and care for them however you see fit. Cats aren’t my specialty but I love all animals and I can always help where needed!

About: My whole life I have always had at least one dog or cat to take care of. In high school, I volunteered at an animal shelter walking dogs where it was my priority to keep them safe while getting all that energy out! I started pet sitting and house sitting for friends and family after high school. I have done obedience and potty training with puppies. I am familiar with administering oral medicines to dogs and cats. My cat has asthma, so I am also comfortable administering an inhaler. I am a student doing online classes, so my schedule is super flexible! Currently Sunday- Thursday are the days I am most available, but with enough time in advance I should be able to make most things work. Just like us, each of our pets are different, so communication is huge to me. The more I know about your pet, the more comfortable we all can be whether it’s going on a walk to pet sitting. My goal when spending time with a pet is keep them feeling comfortable and safe. All animals have their own temperament, so through our communications and my understanding of animal body language I can meet your pet where they’re at whether that is needing space or snuggles. So I can give your pet the best care, I will ask if they are reactive, have any food sensitivities, special needs, and if they have any health conditions/medications. Any more information that you feel I need to know is welcomed and encouraged.

About: I have owned a variety of pets ever since I was born. I pet sit family friends pets often and I have a special spot for animals. I also am willing to babysit other animals. I have watched cats, dogs, and even a wallaby before and enjoy every second of it. I have helped my mom who has a medical background save a handful of pets including my own when they became ill. About: Hello, I am Sylvia been around furry friends all my life and enjoyed their company. My experience is been extensive with a variety of all animals, my foster Mom was an animal whisper if it would had been her she would had had a sanctuary of all kinds of animals. I grew up with parrots, cats, dogs, cows, horses and and even reptiles. I have worked with animals since I was in high school working with a biologist and a Veterinarian learning how to properly care as far as feeding, administering medication, shots and making sure they were properly care. I have help take care of my family and friends pets and I had dogs of my own, had a beautiful and my friend a husky for 17 years and passed away two years ago, took care of him until he went to heaven, currently have my daughters dog moglie and he is a lab/hound great personality he is 8 years old, while she is away I take good care of him. I have also rescue birds and other dogs and nurture them to life. I would like to make this as my career while I learn and take classes to further help the field with animals. For instance would like to get my license on grooming and animal behavior. I was working on retail for 7 years and now that I have an opportunity to work for Rover it will be an honor to take care of your pet family. I will be available to take care of your furry friend, weather is walking, playing fun games, taking care of them, I look forward to working with you and meeting all kinds of friends. About: My love for animals and I like to play / do activities with the dogs. Have a huge yard to run around with them. Truly a dog person. It’s the highlight of my daily / weekly schedule. There’s not much fitting in it’s something I just love to do. Morning walks are the best. I have a huge fenced in yard. Lots of room for your dogs to run around and house is spacious and beds for them to lay.

About: Growing up in a family with German Shepherds, I absolutely love dogs! We bred our beautiful dogs when I was in high school and after birthing and taking care of new born puppies, my love for and confidence in caring for dogs is high. I love exercising and taking care of dogs. About: I’ve always loved all kinds of animals! I currently have two guinea pigs, both girls, named, Brazil and Cheeto who I love to spoil. I’ve grown up with a couple cats, tabby cats. I’ve also grew up with several dogs, a couple being a lab, and a sheltie. Animals deserve love and attention, they just want someone to talk to them because they can get lonely sometimes. When meeting a new animal I always let them come to me first on their terms and when they’re ready I put my hand out slowly for them to smell me and when they feel comfortable I shower them with compliments while giving them some good pets and scratches! I work full time currently. 9 - 5 job. I’m willing to accommodate for anything after work as well as on weekends if I’m free. I currently live with two dogs who I give lots of love too, and give them a treat everyday. They’re not my dogs as I’m living with other people, but I treat them as my own.

About: Hello! I am new to Rover but have plenty of pet care experience. I have been an animal lover my whole life and have been taking care of pets for as long as I can remember! When I was 16 I got a job working as a kennel tech at a vet clinic and discovered working with pets is my true passion. I went on to work as a kennel tech at a much larger facility where I stayed for multiple years, then most recently was employed as a veterinary assistant. I have experience with cats, birds, reptiles and some small mammals as well, but have mostly worked with dogs. I often pet sit for family and friends and I have 4 of my own fur babies as well, so I understand how deep the love for a pet is and promise to take the best care of your babies. I am currently unemployed so I have plenty of time to care for your pets!
