About: I have spent my whole life caring for animals! As a toddler and young child, I would chase dog walkers down the sidewalk calling out, “excuse me, can I pet your dog?” Animals seem to sense my love for them, as they tend to be especially friendly and calm around me. I’ve seen this as a horseback rider and barn volunteer, regular pet sitter for dogs and cats of all breeds and ages, and as the “favorite human” of many dogs in my life! I would love the opportunity to help your animals experience peace, safety, and fun while we’re together. My schedule is very flexible. I currently am taking a gap year from college and have free hours available to care for your pets. I have access to my own car to come to you. I am willing to come to your home, meet you and your pets, and take care of them, including feedings, walks, play, exercise, companionship, and other caring needs.

About: I’ve had cats all of my life, and have dog-sat for friends, neighbors, and coworkers since becoming an adult. My own little orange kitty has many medical adventures—so I’m also very used to administering medicine to cats. I have flexibility in my work hours and can work around routine meetings - allowing for flexibility when caring for our loved ones! I know some furballs need more together time than others so also have a job where I can work virtually too! I love working under instruction—every pet is different and needs different attention and affection! I love to give cuddles and have playtime, and am very detail-oriented when taking care of pets.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I could remember. I’ve taken care of my families, friends, neighbors. I’ve bathed them, fed them, taken them out, and more. I used to work at a dog boarding and doggie day care. I am very flexible and can work around any schedule and pets schedules. About: I have always had pets growing up and continue to keep dogs as an adult. I have raised and trained a variety of breeds and ages. I just moved to the area, and my dream job would be playing with dogs all day. I will need most weekends for family, but during the week I am available. May be able to make arrangements for weekend. About: I have cared for pets of all shapes and sizes (horses, goats, dogs, cats, chickens, lizards, farrets, ect.) of the animals I cared for there have been several with dietary needs and physical disabilities. I am excited to get to know your pets needs and be a friendly face while they are missing their favorite person. I work 7:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday. About: Hi! I live in a big home with lots of space for long walks and play space for your pet! I have a large fenced back yard and I have plenty of space for your furbaby at my house. While I do not have any pets currently, I have had dogs and other animals all my life (30 years). I have a lot of experience with them in many capacities. I have experience with senior dogs as well. I would love to give your pet all the attention and snuggles they need. I will take amazing care of them and keep you updated as much as you prefer throughout their stay with me! I offer photos/videos during their stay during walks or snuggle/playtime. If you have any specific requests, please let me know!! ☺️ I am working from home currently, babysitting a few kiddos. What is your pets daily routine? How do they do with new people and kids? I like to leave something on the tv for the dogs for some “white noise” when I leave the house. I leave toys around for the dogs to play with and let them roam the house as they please. I can crate your dog as needed if that’s your preference!
About: Hi! I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and also was a trainer for the seeing eye before! We are a very active family so lots of playing and walks will be had! I have a puppy of my own that I am training so your baby will always have a friend! Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
