About: I am very passionate about animals, dogs in particular. I volunteered for a length of time at HAWS shelter interacting with them or just spending time with shelter dogs. They truly bring me Joy! My job of 29 years was recently eliminated. This now allows my week to be pretty flexible to do what actually brings me joy = spending time with animals. My preference would be to have a changeable schedule with clients. I take very good care of my dog, my husband and I love her and spoil her dearly. At this time, I am signing up for dog walking and drop-in visits and am happy to spend time with your furbabies.

“Maddalena is so helpful and flexible! I appreciate her thinking ahead- she saw it would be raining so she took our dog on a quick walk and then played with her inside. Dallie still got some energy out, and we couldn't be happier. :)”

“Nycole is rock-solid dependable and takes great care of Shoresy! It’s always so nice to come home knowing he’s had a great walk! Nycole is very quick to respond and gives great updates. I highly recommend Nycole.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets pretty much my entire life! As a child, I helped my parents take care of many different kinds of pets in our home, and now that I’m an adult, I help and encourage my own kids in caring for our pets. I truly think they are a part of a family, and I take great pride and care in making sure they get all the love and attention they need and deserve. We currently have 1 dog, 2 rats, 3 cats, and 4 chickens! I can’t wait to get to know you and your furry friend! I’m currently working part time as a nanny/household assistant, so I have plenty of time in my week to give your pets the time and attention needed! I’m especially flexible on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I am a very detail-oriented person, so I will follow directions that you give me accurately and reliably to make sure that your pet gets the care and attention needed while you are away!

About: I have been taking care of dogs for as long as I possibly could remember. I’ve dealt with all ages including caring for my own pregnant dog and helping birth and care for the puppies. I currently have three large dogs that are adults and have cared for two of them since they were puppies. My third dog is a rescue who has been a part of my family since he was one. I have went through extensive training with my dogs and have been able to work with other pet parents to help train their dogs who are struggling with aggression and/or highly reactive dogs. I also work with senior dogs and any extra attention they may need as I have had my own senior dog. I am fully capable of working with any special needs dogs as well. Having 3 dogs fits info my schedule pretty normally and I have no issues doing so. I have a work from home job meaning I can be here to care for all the dogs needs at any time. Feeding, walking, playing, bathing (if need be), if dogs have any medication I can give it to them. Lots of snuggles as well!! Dogs will be in a safe separate area from my personal dogs.

“Shelby is great! We couldn’t ask for anything better. Shelby walks our dogs three days a week and she’s been on time, extremely sweet, the dogs love her and she keeps us informed on our dogs. We have a big German Shepherd that tends to pull on walks, and Shelby rose to the challenge without complaints. I highly recommend her to others looking for a walker.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs (Puppies Adult Dogs) since I was 11. I would always babysit my neighbors dogs whenever they went on vacation. I use to have a Yorkie Poodle and I currently have a Dogo Argentina and a Chocolate Lab! My schedule is very flexible and open. I can make time to watch after your dog anytime. Just would like a heads up before the actual date you need your pet to be watched. I have a townhouse that is very spacious. I prefer to watch your dog at your home. It would make things a lot easier. I have no problem with traveling.

About: My whole life has been around dogs and cats. I grew up with 3 cats and 2 dogs. In my adult life I owned 3 dogs. I’ve helped train puppies of my own all the way to caring for senior dogs. I have watched friends and neighbors animals from checking in with cats daily to housing dogs for a few days to months. I have a very flexible work schedule so I can check on your pet in the morning before work, during my lunch break and after work. If you need me to be at your house full time with your pet I can easily work from home multiple days. I am a digital media marketer so I can work about anywhere and at any time. I have a fenced in yard with 2 very playful dogs if they need any playtime. I know a great dog park for dogs to run and play their heart out. I love going outside so taking dogs for walks is one of my favorite things to do. Since I live with 2 dogs I know how to feed, play, relax and sleep with them.

About: Hello Rover World. I am a nurse hoping to help you with your fur baby on my off days. I have always had a dog in my home growing up and currently I have one fur baby of my own. I work three days per week, that leaves me plenty of playtime and cuddles with your pet. I am available day and evening hours. We can further discuss your individual pet needs. I am available for playtime and walks near your home. If your dog has special needs, I would love to hear more about their unique traits. I understand the frustration of finding a trustworthy caregiver. I am ready to give your fur baby love as if they were my very own.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. Since I was 10 years old, there’s always been a dog in the house, and I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is convincing my mom to let me adopt a stray I found outside my dad’s business—that dog became a beloved member of our family and solidified my bond with animals. I also have several years of professional experience working at Community Bark Dog Wash in Bayside as a dog bather, where I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. This hands-on experience taught me how to read animals’ behavior, build trust, and handle everything from playful puppies to nervous seniors. I’ve also spent a lot of time with cats, thanks to friends and family, and I’m just as comfortable caring for them. What sets me apart is my active, patient, and attentive approach. I’m an athletic guy who loves getting outside for walks, runs, and playtime to keep pets happy and stimulated. At the same time, I take pride in being calm and patient, which helps me connect with animals, especially those who might be anxious or shy. As your pet’s caretaker, I’ll give them my full attention, keep them active, and make sure they feel loved and cared for, just like they’re part of the family. I’m currently working part time from home as a health and wellness coach, so with planning I can be free almost any day to care for your animals. I really enjoy working pet sitting into my schedule. Safety I prioritize safety by pet-proofing the environment, securing hazardous items, and supervising pets at all times. For walks or outdoor time, I ensure leashes are secure and pets are always in safe, pet-friendly areas. Trust Building trust is essential, both with pets and their owners. I take time to understand each pet's preferences, routines, and needs. I communicate regularly with owners to provide updates, photos, and reassurance that their pets are in good hands. Environment In my home, I provide a clean, cozy space with plenty of fresh water, toys, and comfortable areas for rest. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines and ensure pets feel secure by keeping familiar scents and surroundings intact. I also maintain a calm, positive demeanor to help pets feel at ease.

“Jeanee was fantastic! She did a great job of caring our puppy Olive and communicating throughout and was very reliable. I received a bunch of photos and videos of Olive. Would definitely recommend her.”

About: Growing up, my mom fostered 15 dogs along with our 2 resident Golden Retrievers. This sparked my passion for animals and I now have a rescue dog of my own, Maddie, a 6 y/o black lab. I also volunteer at MADACC and enjoy walking the dogs there. I’m comfortable with all sizes of dogs but have the most experience with large breeds. I’d love the opportunity to meet your dog(s)! I’m currently in between jobs, so my schedule is very flexible! I’m willing to work with you to align on a time/date that works well. For dog walking, I am comfortable utilizing any type of collar/harness and leash combination. At home, I walk my dog twice a day regardless of weather - I’ll be there rain or shine!

About: I grew up with a Golden Doodle. I frequently watch my close friends black lab and greater Swiss mountain dog so I am good with all size dogs. I have a flexible work schedule so I am able to pop in and do visits or walks on short notice during the work week I am very respectful of others property and I am great at earning trust from dogs. I will make it a comfortable environment for your pup.

I have one dog that can be very nervous around people and can be a lot sometimes but she loves Perseus and she definitely doesn't love everyone.
