About: Having been surrounded by dogs and cats throughout my life, I've cultivated a profound passion for working with these wonderful companions. While growing up, my mother and I had a cat, but most of my interactions with pets occurred through my grandparents. My grandparents have always had dogs and allowed me to be actively involved in their care, including feeding and walking. This experience nurtured a deep passion and profound appreciation for animals, as they are not just our pets but integral members of our family. I embarked on my first job at McDonald's, where I gained valuable experience in providing excellent customer service. In September of my first college year, I began working at the UW Veterinary Hospital as a kennel worker. This role primarily involved cleaning and providing vet students, vet techs, and doctors with the necessary equipment for treating animals. In the following spring semester, I left the hospital and secured a position as a dog caregiver at Dog Haus University in Madison. I was already familiar with dog behavior, but this job allowed me to gain confidence in recognizing a dog's emotions through their body language. Additionally, I currently work at a doggy daycare in Milwaukee called Unifursity in the same capacity, but with the added responsibility of pottying and feeding dogs since this establishment also offers boarding services. I have experience in petsitting my grandparents' dogs in their home while they were out of town and have demonstrated my ability to maintain their routine. Being at the doggy daycare has allowed me to gain new skills such as properly administering the Bordetella and Distemper vaccination, along with solidifying my skill in maintaining a dogs daily schedule when it comes to feeding, pottying and excerise. Regarding my experience in Madison, opportunities that arose did not align with my housing situation since I did reside in the campus dorms. Patience is a quality I've developed over the years, partly due to having younger siblings who can be quite challenging. My grandma's dog, a large German Shepherd with severe separation anxiety, has given me experience in dealing with dogs who are considered "difficult." Working at the daycare, patience is crucial, as some dogs struggle to follow instructions and require consistent redirection. There have been instances of nervous dogs who were initially wary of strangers, but through careful handling, consistent communication, and positive interactions, I gained their trust while maintaining authority when necessary. I am a full-time student, but I have flexibility on times as my schedule isn’t super demanding. I do work Thursdays, Fridays & Sundays, and I’m able to be accommodating around times if needed. While I do have a full house that could be overwhelming to some pets, as a pet sitter in a client's home, I will follow their guidelines closely which may involve feeding pets according to their usual routine, administering medication if necessary, and engaging in play or exercise activities. I aim to maintain a clean and organized space, respecting the home and the pet owner's preferences. The specific services I offer may vary, so I'm adaptable to the needs of both the pet and the owner. Clear communication and a genuine love for animals guide my approach to pet care, ensuring the well-being and happiness of the pets entrusted to my care.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I grew up on a farm and we always had three dogs around. I frequently pet sit for my friend's 60 pound Pitt-mix. I can give medication, and am good with puppies. I can patiently train or work with dogs who are learning the ropes. I can provide daily exercise when your dog is with me, and lots of snuggles! I work less than ten miles from home, so on most days I can pop in for a walk or potty break. I can board the same dog for up to two weeks depending on the situation. I can only take one dog at a time so your dog will get all the attention! I always follow the owner's wishes, and guidance on how to best care for their pet. I don't go overboard with treats, but I do go overboard with affection.

About: I have done two summers at doggy day cares. I have always loved animals and want to spend more time with them. I think this the perfect opportunity. I am currently working full- time. I would be able to work after work, weekends, off days, and my remote day during breaks. I will be flexible as much as I can. I will be diligent withe the pets i take for walks, sitting, and boarding. I will make sure they are snd feel safe in their environment.

My grandpa has been breeding huskies since before I was born so dogs have always been a large part of my life. . I (Joseph) have always had a deep love for animals—I raised a kitten growing up and worked at a reptile store where I cared for reptiles, fish, and insects before traveling for a year. Together, we’re all about giving pets thoughtful, experienced, personalized care every step of the way. 🐾 We are both currently working from home so normally one of us is always home. If we do leave your pup will never be left alone for more than an hour. Our space includes a fully fenced backyard, a dedicated doggy room with a queen-sized mattress, cozy dog beds, and an XL crate if needed. Ring cameras and security system so we know our house is always watched. Maddie has trained her super well-mannered and playful 6-year-old Siberian Husky since birth who loves making new friends. We only take in 2-3 dogs at a time which is plenty of space for our house. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with a playground, large field and lots of kids around. We follow your dog’s routine closely and send regular updates so you always feel connected—your pup will be treated like part of the family. 🐾

About: I started off taking care of small animals, but then became trained as a kennel attendant and enrichment specialist in my growing career in animal care. I wanted to offer more to my local community with the current skills I have, along with learn and grow with every pet and parent! I’m aware of how dogs communicate with each other with body language and have been trained to break apart a fight, even before a fight could start.

About: My whole life has been around dogs and cats. I grew up with 3 cats and 2 dogs. In my adult life I owned 3 dogs. I’ve helped train puppies of my own all the way to caring for senior dogs. I have watched friends and neighbors animals from checking in with cats daily to housing dogs for a few days to months. I have a very flexible work schedule so I can check on your pet in the morning before work, during my lunch break and after work. If you need me to be at your house full time with your pet I can easily work from home multiple days. I am a digital media marketer so I can work about anywhere and at any time. I have a fenced in yard with 2 very playful dogs if they need any playtime. I know a great dog park for dogs to run and play their heart out. I love going outside so taking dogs for walks is one of my favorite things to do. Since I live with 2 dogs I know how to feed, play, relax and sleep with them.

About: I have been around animals my entire life and have always desired having many of my own! Now the Lord has blessed me with having a season of flexibility where I can help with other people’s furry pets until I can have the farm I have always dreamed of! I currently work remotely and am able to be around with pets for majority of the day! I am also extremely flexible with stop ins and walks as needed! I currently cannot house pets in my home, but I am always willing to come on over and stay with the pet so that they feel comfortable in an already stressful situation with their families gone!

About: I have worked as a dog groomer, dog sitter and I have grown up with cats, I’d love to help out anyone who needs it I visit my neighbors dog whenever I see him outside, to just spend time with him, I also hang out with my cats when I visit my moms. About: I've grown up with pets ever since I was little. I've been trusted even from young ages to walk, feed, and clean up after dogs. I've never had a bad experience and I'm always willing to encounter any and every kind of dog out there with lots of love and care! I have my own pet at home, had him for 10 years. Even after so long, it's so easy and even fun sometimes to do the little things for your pets like feeding them, walking them, and just making sure you spend some quality time with them! There's never a moment I don't want to be around my pet, or any pet for that matter! I always think the key to good pet care is real love and attention. Watching for what your pets want and giving them it will make them happy. If it's attention, bring on the cuddles! If it's a walk, let's do it! And that goes for pets that aren't mine as well. I always care for them like they're mine, and will pay attention to what they want as well as what their owners know is best too!

About: I am self employed with a flexible schedule. I'm a lifelong pet owner and prefer to care for cats or small dogs only (no large dogs over 50 lbs please). I'm the aunt to dog nephew Goose and have had a cat or two in my home my entire adult life. Homeowner of 18 years, stable and reliable. I own my own business and set my own hours which allows me to have a flexible schedule. I prefer to work late mornings, afternoon, and evenings (not an early riser). I would prefer to come to your residence to care for your pet(s). I can feed, water, clean litter, play, give attention, affection, and exercise them there. I can also clean up any accidents or puke. I'm more than happy to be with your pet(s) for an hour or longer.

About: I have two rescue dogs (Tasha & Diesel)!. I've been around dogs my whole life. I have dealt with all ages of dogs from puppy stages to senior dog care. I do work a full time job but I work from home 4 days a week on a routine basis (monday, wednesday - friday). Working from home gives me flexibility to take care of your pets whether it's a quick walk, playtime, or potty breaks! In my client's home to best fit the needs of your pet, all I ask is for important details on your pets triggers or anything that i need to know (and your wifi password if I work from home!) :)

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and love them so much that I decided to work at a Dog and Cat daycare and boarding facility. I’ve been working there for 2 years and have worked with all breeds and ages varying from puppies to seniors and love comforting them and making them happy while also making sure their parents know they are in good hands! I’m currently working part-time and my availability is flexible. I’m willing to make adjustments as long as I am notified at least 2-3 weeks in advance. Depending on the typical routine of the pet, I will follow it as close as possible to make them feel as comfortable as I can. I will keep them busy by going on walks or by playing with them, or if they have lower energy I’ll just make sure to give them extra attention.
