About: Having been surrounded by dogs and cats throughout my life, I've cultivated a profound passion for working with these wonderful companions. While growing up, my mother and I had a cat, but most of my interactions with pets occurred through my grandparents. My grandparents have always had dogs and allowed me to be actively involved in their care, including feeding and walking. This experience nurtured a deep passion and profound appreciation for animals, as they are not just our pets but integral members of our family. I embarked on my first job at McDonald's, where I gained valuable experience in providing excellent customer service. In September of my first college year, I began working at the UW Veterinary Hospital as a kennel worker. This role primarily involved cleaning and providing vet students, vet techs, and doctors with the necessary equipment for treating animals. In the following spring semester, I left the hospital and secured a position as a dog caregiver at Dog Haus University in Madison. I was already familiar with dog behavior, but this job allowed me to gain confidence in recognizing a dog's emotions through their body language. Additionally, I currently work at a doggy daycare in Milwaukee called Unifursity in the same capacity, but with the added responsibility of pottying and feeding dogs since this establishment also offers boarding services. I have experience in petsitting my grandparents' dogs in their home while they were out of town and have demonstrated my ability to maintain their routine. Being at the doggy daycare has allowed me to gain new skills such as properly administering the Bordetella and Distemper vaccination, along with solidifying my skill in maintaining a dogs daily schedule when it comes to feeding, pottying and excerise. Regarding my experience in Madison, opportunities that arose did not align with my housing situation since I did reside in the campus dorms. Patience is a quality I've developed over the years, partly due to having younger siblings who can be quite challenging. My grandma's dog, a large German Shepherd with severe separation anxiety, has given me experience in dealing with dogs who are considered "difficult." Working at the daycare, patience is crucial, as some dogs struggle to follow instructions and require consistent redirection. There have been instances of nervous dogs who were initially wary of strangers, but through careful handling, consistent communication, and positive interactions, I gained their trust while maintaining authority when necessary. I am a full-time student, but I have flexibility on times as my schedule isn’t super demanding. I do work Thursdays, Fridays & Sundays, and I’m able to be accommodating around times if needed. While I do have a full house that could be overwhelming to some pets, as a pet sitter in a client's home, I will follow their guidelines closely which may involve feeding pets according to their usual routine, administering medication if necessary, and engaging in play or exercise activities. I aim to maintain a clean and organized space, respecting the home and the pet owner's preferences. The specific services I offer may vary, so I'm adaptable to the needs of both the pet and the owner. Clear communication and a genuine love for animals guide my approach to pet care, ensuring the well-being and happiness of the pets entrusted to my care.

About: Hello and welcome! We take care of/have taken care of all different kinds of pets. We have our own two dogs, as well as six cats. We have experience with multiple different breeds and types of animals, as well as being able to handle many at a time. (We have had up to 9 dogs in my care at one time!) I know how hard it is to leave your pet behind, which is why I will update you with pictures as much as you would like. I have a finished basement if your loved one would prefer to be separated, and also have many open rooms for them to choose from for slumber. The cats have a gated off cat room, only accessible to humans and kitties. The crew and I can't wait to meet you! (Or if you prefer the whole crew won't meet you :)). Dani is currently home full time. At this time Dani is home for almost the entire day, with occasional errands. You can request our schedule for any amount of time to confirm your loved one will be cared for properly and on time. We deep clean all items used after a pet stays, so that they are ready for the next pet to stay. We have extra blankets, beds, crates, bowls, and more. We keep our fishtanks neat and clean, as well as my home. My dogs are extremely friendly even with cats. My backyard is fenced in with access through a back door. When it's nice out we play outside with the dogs where they have access to a kiddie pool to play in the water. I have started to add more outdoor play equipment/toys.

About: My whole life has been around dogs and cats. I grew up with 3 cats and 2 dogs. In my adult life I owned 3 dogs. I’ve helped train puppies of my own all the way to caring for senior dogs. I have watched friends and neighbors animals from checking in with cats daily to housing dogs for a few days to months. I have a very flexible work schedule so I can check on your pet in the morning before work, during my lunch break and after work. If you need me to be at your house full time with your pet I can easily work from home multiple days. I am a digital media marketer so I can work about anywhere and at any time. I have a fenced in yard with 2 very playful dogs if they need any playtime. I know a great dog park for dogs to run and play their heart out. I love going outside so taking dogs for walks is one of my favorite things to do. Since I live with 2 dogs I know how to feed, play, relax and sleep with them.

About: I am a crazy cat lady. I’ve been around cats my entire life and currently care for three of my own. One of my cats has chronic kidney disease, so I’m very experienced with medications, subcutaneous fluids, and close monitoring. I’m comfortable caring for cats with special needs, giving oral medications. I truly value the human animal bond and treat every cat as if they were my own. I’m a strong communicator and provide regular updates and photos. I’m always happy to do a meet & greet beforehand to make sure it’s a great fit for both you and your cat. About: I have worked as a dog groomer, dog sitter and I have grown up with cats, I’d love to help out anyone who needs it I visit my neighbors dog whenever I see him outside, to just spend time with him, I also hang out with my cats when I visit my moms. I (Maddie) have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and have always been hands-on with training. My grandpa has been breeding huskies since before I was born so dogs have always been a large part of my life. . I’m confident working with high-energy and large breeds, and I’m especially passionate about giving puppies the structure, love, and attention they need. I previously worked at a doggy daycare which has given me plenty of knowledge on caretaking and maintaining a happy and healthy home with multiple dogs. I (Joseph) have always had a deep love for animals—I raised a kitten growing up and worked at a reptile store where I cared for reptiles, fish, and insects before traveling for a year. Together, we’re all about giving pets thoughtful, experienced, personalized care every step of the way. 🐾 We are both currently working from home so normally one of us is always home. If we do leave your pup will never be left alone for more than an hour. Our space includes a fully fenced backyard, a dedicated doggy room with a queen-sized mattress, cozy dog beds, and an XL crate if needed. Ring cameras and security system so we know our house is always watched. Maddie has trained her super well-mannered and playful 6-year-old Siberian Husky since birth who loves making new friends. We only take in 2-3 dogs at a time which is plenty of space for our house. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with a playground, large field and lots of kids around. We follow your dog’s routine closely and send regular updates so you always feel connected—your pup will be treated like part of the family. 🐾

About: I started off taking care of small animals, but then became trained as a kennel attendant and enrichment specialist in my growing career in animal care. I wanted to offer more to my local community with the current skills I have, along with learn and grow with every pet and parent! I’m aware of how dogs communicate with each other with body language and have been trained to break apart a fight, even before a fight could start.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I grew up on a farm and we always had three dogs around. I frequently pet sit for my friend's 60 pound Pitt-mix. I can give medication, and am good with puppies. I can patiently train or work with dogs who are learning the ropes. I can provide daily exercise when your dog is with me, and lots of snuggles! I work less than ten miles from home, so on most days I can pop in for a walk or potty break. I can board the same dog for up to two weeks depending on the situation. I can only take one dog at a time so your dog will get all the attention! I always follow the owner's wishes, and guidance on how to best care for their pet. I don't go overboard with treats, but I do go overboard with affection.

About: I have taken care of my own dogs ever since I was young. I volunteered at the humane society in Waukesha WI for 6 months and spent time with mostly dogs but all animals. I have watched my family and friends dogs many times as well. I am a college student and it is hard being away from my fur baby so I am looking to spend time with some animals and help out where people need it! I am a full time college student with 3 in person classes and 2 online classes so my schedule is super flexible to stop in last minute or help wherever is needed. I unfortunately am not able to host any pets in my home because I am living in the dorms. But taking care of a pet in a clients home sounds great and I will be respectful of the space and clean up after myself.

About: Hi, my name is Lynn and my love for pets started at a young age. I find that dogs need more than love and affection. They need mental stimulation. While your dog is in my care, I assure you they will have all three. (Love, affection and mental stimulation) I have always had dogs my entire life. I currently have a 3 year old Lagotto Romagnolo named Bonita. She loves to play with other dogs big or small. I live across the street from a park so we will have plenty of play time. We will do lots of walks, play time as well and some down time. If you need help with basic obedience training, let's chat. If you have a kennel or doggy bed please bring it with you, as well as food and treats. I look forward to taking care of your dog(s)! Pet care is my life. I have a daily routine with my dog Bo. I take her to the dog park a few days a week and also let her run in the yard as well as across the street at the park. My days and hours are flexible, and someone is always home. I don't have a fenced in yard, but I will use a leash with your dog. I live on a quiet culdasac and have a park across the street for lots of play time.
