About: Hi! We’re Maddie & Joseph — a pet-loving couple with a lifestyle built around dogs. We offer a calm, loving, and active environment where your dog is part of the family. I (Maddie) have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and have always been hands-on with training. My grandpa has been breeding huskies since before I was born so dogs have always been a large part of my life. . I’m confident working with high-energy and large breeds, and I’m especially passionate about giving puppies the structure, love, and attention they need. I previously worked at a doggy daycare which has given me plenty of knowledge on caretaking and maintaining a happy and healthy home with multiple dogs. I (Joseph) have always had a deep love for animals—I raised a kitten growing up and worked at a reptile store where I cared for reptiles, fish, and insects before traveling for a year. Together, we’re all about giving pets thoughtful, experienced, personalized care every step of the way. 🐾 We are both currently working from home so normally one of us is always home. If we do leave your pup will never be left alone for more than an hour. Our space includes a fully fenced backyard, a dedicated doggy room with a queen-sized mattress, cozy dog beds, and an XL crate if needed. Ring cameras and security system so we know our house is always watched. Maddie has trained her super well-mannered and playful 6-year-old Siberian Husky since birth who loves making new friends. We only take in 2-3 dogs at a time which is plenty of space for our house. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with a playground, large field and lots of kids around. We follow your dog’s routine closely and send regular updates so you always feel connected—your pup will be treated like part of the family. 🐾

About: I started off taking care of small animals, but then became trained as a kennel attendant and enrichment specialist in my growing career in animal care. I wanted to offer more to my local community with the current skills I have, along with learn and grow with every pet and parent! I’m aware of how dogs communicate with each other with body language and have been trained to break apart a fight, even before a fight could start.

About: Having been surrounded by dogs and cats throughout my life, I've cultivated a profound passion for working with these wonderful companions. While growing up, my mother and I had a cat, but most of my interactions with pets occurred through my grandparents. My grandparents have always had dogs and allowed me to be actively involved in their care, including feeding and walking. This experience nurtured a deep passion and profound appreciation for animals, as they are not just our pets but integral members of our family. I embarked on my first job at McDonald's, where I gained valuable experience in providing excellent customer service. In September of my first college year, I began working at the UW Veterinary Hospital as a kennel worker. This role primarily involved cleaning and providing vet students, vet techs, and doctors with the necessary equipment for treating animals. In the following spring semester, I left the hospital and secured a position as a dog caregiver at Dog Haus University in Madison. I was already familiar with dog behavior, but this job allowed me to gain confidence in recognizing a dog's emotions through their body language. Additionally, I currently work at a doggy daycare in Milwaukee called Unifursity in the same capacity, but with the added responsibility of pottying and feeding dogs since this establishment also offers boarding services. I have experience in petsitting my grandparents' dogs in their home while they were out of town and have demonstrated my ability to maintain their routine. Being at the doggy daycare has allowed me to gain new skills such as properly administering the Bordetella and Distemper vaccination, along with solidifying my skill in maintaining a dogs daily schedule when it comes to feeding, pottying and excerise. Regarding my experience in Madison, opportunities that arose did not align with my housing situation since I did reside in the campus dorms. Patience is a quality I've developed over the years, partly due to having younger siblings who can be quite challenging. My grandma's dog, a large German Shepherd with severe separation anxiety, has given me experience in dealing with dogs who are considered "difficult." Working at the daycare, patience is crucial, as some dogs struggle to follow instructions and require consistent redirection. There have been instances of nervous dogs who were initially wary of strangers, but through careful handling, consistent communication, and positive interactions, I gained their trust while maintaining authority when necessary. I am a full-time student, but I have flexibility on times as my schedule isn’t super demanding. I do work Thursdays, Fridays & Sundays, and I’m able to be accommodating around times if needed. While I do have a full house that could be overwhelming to some pets, as a pet sitter in a client's home, I will follow their guidelines closely which may involve feeding pets according to their usual routine, administering medication if necessary, and engaging in play or exercise activities. I aim to maintain a clean and organized space, respecting the home and the pet owner's preferences. The specific services I offer may vary, so I'm adaptable to the needs of both the pet and the owner. Clear communication and a genuine love for animals guide my approach to pet care, ensuring the well-being and happiness of the pets entrusted to my care.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and love them so much that I decided to work at a Dog and Cat daycare and boarding facility. I’ve been working there for 2 years and have worked with all breeds and ages varying from puppies to seniors and love comforting them and making them happy while also making sure their parents know they are in good hands! I’m currently working part-time and my availability is flexible. I’m willing to make adjustments as long as I am notified at least 2-3 weeks in advance. Depending on the typical routine of the pet, I will follow it as close as possible to make them feel as comfortable as I can. I will keep them busy by going on walks or by playing with them, or if they have lower energy I’ll just make sure to give them extra attention.

About: I’ve taking care of pets since I was 13. I currently have a blind senior german shepherd, and guide him when needed, giving him lots of treats and love. I also have a 1 year puppy and give her frequent time out. I’m planning on working weekends whenever needed to play with doggies and give them the care they need! I can feed them, give medicine, and care for blind and senior dogs. I put my dogs before anything and make sure they have everything they need. Treats, water, food, play time, medicine, supplements, nap time and love.

About: I've grown up with pets ever since I was little. I've been trusted even from young ages to walk, feed, and clean up after dogs. I've never had a bad experience and I'm always willing to encounter any and every kind of dog out there with lots of love and care! I have my own pet at home, had him for 10 years. Even after so long, it's so easy and even fun sometimes to do the little things for your pets like feeding them, walking them, and just making sure you spend some quality time with them! There's never a moment I don't want to be around my pet, or any pet for that matter! I always think the key to good pet care is real love and attention. Watching for what your pets want and giving them it will make them happy. If it's attention, bring on the cuddles! If it's a walk, let's do it! And that goes for pets that aren't mine as well. I always care for them like they're mine, and will pay attention to what they want as well as what their owners know is best too!

About: My whole life has been around dogs and cats. I grew up with 3 cats and 2 dogs. In my adult life I owned 3 dogs. I’ve helped train puppies of my own all the way to caring for senior dogs. I have watched friends and neighbors animals from checking in with cats daily to housing dogs for a few days to months. I have a very flexible work schedule so I can check on your pet in the morning before work, during my lunch break and after work. If you need me to be at your house full time with your pet I can easily work from home multiple days. I am a digital media marketer so I can work about anywhere and at any time. I have a fenced in yard with 2 very playful dogs if they need any playtime. I know a great dog park for dogs to run and play their heart out. I love going outside so taking dogs for walks is one of my favorite things to do. Since I live with 2 dogs I know how to feed, play, relax and sleep with them.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I grew up on a farm and we always had three dogs around. I frequently pet sit for my friend's 60 pound Pitt-mix. I can give medication, and am good with puppies. I can patiently train or work with dogs who are learning the ropes. I can provide daily exercise when your dog is with me, and lots of snuggles! I work less than ten miles from home, so on most days I can pop in for a walk or potty break. I can board the same dog for up to two weeks depending on the situation. I can only take one dog at a time so your dog will get all the attention! I always follow the owner's wishes, and guidance on how to best care for their pet. I don't go overboard with treats, but I do go overboard with affection.

About: I have done two summers at doggy day cares. I have always loved animals and want to spend more time with them. I think this the perfect opportunity. I am currently working full- time. I would be able to work after work, weekends, off days, and my remote day during breaks. I will be flexible as much as I can. About: I have extensive care with disabled animals and I am currently working as a vet assistant in a clinic and would love the opportunity to care for your pet. I work full time at a vet clinic so I am available mostly on the weekends and my times during the week days will vary I will follow instructions provided by my clients for drop ins and take into account the personal description that I am given of each pet and handle all with care.

About: I have worked as a dog groomer, dog sitter and I have grown up with cats, I’d love to help out anyone who needs it I visit my neighbors dog whenever I see him outside, to just spend time with him, I also hang out with my cats when I visit my moms. I care for them as they are my own, all animals are equal, I will do everything I can to make your furry babies feel safe!

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was 9 and currently have my own dog. I pet sit for coworkers and friends when they go out of town. I've raised puppies as well as cared for senior dogs. I work from home 3 days a week. I am able to check in on or walk dogs with my little dog on my lunch break or after work. (My dog does not join on cat appointments, but she gets along with most dogs on walks. Dog walking appointments without my own dog are possible upon request.) I have experience with dog and cat behavior, including reactive dogs. While I would like to bring my own dog along on walks you can request me not to if that is what's best for your dog. I love spending time walking, playing, and caring for them, keeping their space tidy and cozy, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved every day. I care for pets with attention, safety, and love, both in my home and in my client’s home. I have one dog, two cats, and a tortoise, so I’m experienced managing different needs. My home is pet-friendly with plenty of space to play and a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time. I live near a park and a dog park for walks and socialization. I’m especially careful with special needs, like my cats’ prescription diets, and always make sure pets feel comfortable, happy, and well-cared for.
