“Sherry was wonderful with Nukka! She provided updates regularly, gave Nukka lots of love and walks. When a slight health issue arose, Sherry immediately notified me so I was aware of what she was seeing. I was able to get Nukka into the vet the following day for treatment! Thanks for taking such good care of our girl!!”

“Angela kept our senior dog over a long weekend while we were out of town. She was super attentive and sent lots of pictures, putting our mind at ease. She clearly loves dogs and we knew our pup was in loving hands! I would definitely use her again and recommend her without any hesitation!”

“Angel and Little Man always have a great time. Easy scheduling, great response times, and my pups are exhausted from playing when they get home. Thanks !”

“Yolanda took such incredible care of my dogs, Bailey and Jinx. From the updates, to the photos, and just making sure they were comfortable and happy, every detail was perfect. It is clear that Yolanda is the best and goes above and beyond to make each pet feel at home. I had complete peace of mind knowing my dogs were in great hands and will definitely use her services again—highly recommend!”

“My dog stays with Doreen for 8 days. He needs medication twice a day. Doreen has taken care of him very well and keep us informed daily with picture. Thanks, Doreen.”

“Would definitely recommend Amanda as a sitter! Easy communication, easy to book, I appreciated the couple check ins during my dog’s stay! My dog came back looking well taken care of, happy, and tired from her exercise! Will definitely be using Amanda again!”

“Maria and Nayibe were amazing with Copper. They send photos regularly and updated us on how he’s doing and were very flexible. Copper enjoyed his stay with them!”

“I can not say enough about the outstanding care our dog received from Scott and Ashley. We received frequent updates and messages to keep us up to date. We are so very grateful that they invited our dog into their home.”

“Ashley and her family did an excellent job watching my two pups. Both seemed to be enjoying themselves while I was away. I got updates and pictures periodically so I was always in the know of what they were up to. Ashley was accommodating with time drop off and pick up. I appreciate the time and love you spent with my babies.”

“Cindy, Thank you so much for taking such good care of Gunner!! We really appreciate the pictures and updates you send to let us know that our "gentle beast" is being a good boy and getting along with the other dogs. I apologize for him taking up most of your bed. 😂 He thinks he is a lap dog! Anyone on Rover should know that their dogs would be under great care when they choose you as their sitter!!! Thank you again!!!”

“Scott was a wonderful sitter to our dog, Phoebe. Excellent communication, professional, and friendly. He sent us a few pics while we were away to let us know how she was doing, which I especially appreciated. Definitely recommend Scott, and his cute dog Lucy, to anyone looking for a sitter and a playmate.”

“Ashlee was great with my dog, Sariah! She sent updates with pictures throughout the weekend, which was much appreciated. We will definitely book her again when we need a sitter.”

“Andrew and his family treated my Oscar as part of their family. He was in constant communication with me while I was away in Italy for almost 3 weeks. Andrew is very kind and very easy/flexible. “Miranda ❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️ Above and beyond care! She was prompt, never late! Always on time! Miranda was exceptional! She provided such beautiful compassion to my Jack George, taking him on walks, spending time outside, and feeding him just like Mom! Cleaned his little box! Fresh water every day! She did more than I did with him in a day. I will be hiring her to visit Jack on a routine basis! Oh, the pictures - she sent at least eight photos on each visit! Loved that!! I was so impressed with Miranda and how the Rover App works! Thank you, Miranda!”

“Madeline was an excellent pet sitter! She was kind, caring, and communicative throughout the time she cared for my cat, and she even checked in on my snake to make sure everything was okay. She followed all of my instructions carefully and gave me peace of mind knowing my pets were in great hands. I really appreciated her reliability and the love and attention she gave them. I would gladly have her pet sit for me again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.”

“Maddalena was a great fit for our cat. She seemed to bond very quickly to the point Maddelena sent us video of their quality time spent together when she visited, rather than basically have our cat ignore her. In the past that has always been the case when we have others stop by to check in. We received photos each time Maddalena visited which made us feel better while we were away. Maddalena was very reliable and open with communication. We will rebook with Maddalena any time we go out of town in the future.”

“This was our first time using Rover. We had last minute work done in our house where the cats had to be gone. Aidan and Dani were amazingly patient with our four cats who have quite unique personalities.”

“Great service! Jen watched more than one pet for us. Our cat doesn't like strangers but Jen handled her moodiness. Have used her more than once already and would again.”

“Shelby is great! Her communication is prompt and always keeps me informed. Our furbabies have gotten to know her and now wait for her at the door. We've used her before and will continue to use her!”

“Anya was an AMAZING cat sitter. She provided consistent and regular updates with cute videos and photos. Additionally, after not seeing one of our cats for a few days, she went out of her way to locate and find the cat (who is very good at hiding).”

“Jenn was great with my cat Winston! He seemed very happy in her care and I can tell she loves animals. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up times which I appreciated!”

“Cathy is always on top of our pet's needs. She is very punctual, sends us lots of pictures of our cats, and follows our instructions perfectly. After working with several sitters, Cathy is now the only sitter we hire. I highly recommend Cathy.”

About: Hi! I’m Montse - mom of kitties Chamoy and Luka. I’ve had these cats for five years and was always a dog person until I had my own feline friends. My orange cat is exactly as you’d expect… rambunctious and incredibly cuddly. Luka the black cat however, is very stand-offish and loves her space. All that to say, I know that cats come with different personalities and I’d love to care for yours however is needed!

“Courtney is absolutely amazing! Wish I could provide more than five stars! Professional, kind, responsible, respectful, and loving with our boys. Wonderful communication, updates, and pictures. The whole experience was top notch and we appreciate how much she cared about our boys and respected our home. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you Courtney!!”

“Tegra is super sweet and I immediately felt comfortable into our home and trusting her with our little rascal Kitty cat. Assuming she accepts I'll happily use her services again!”

“Megan was wonderful with our cat Leo! She cared for him and our home like they were here own. She sent plenty of picture and videos and didn’t hesitate to reach out with questions to make sure Leo got the best care possible. We look forward to working with Megan again!”

“Olivia was great! My dog is a sweetheart to most everyone, but doesn't cuddle with anyone really other than me. Some of the photos Olivia shared showed my girl cuddling up to her and that was amazing! We have had many wonderful sitters on Rover, but none that my dog seemed this comfortable with. Olivia took great care of my dog and it was such a relief to have her help while we were away for the weekend. We will definitely be looking to use Olivia again in the future! Aside from the dog care itself, Olivia was just wonderful to work with. She was understanding when I lost our message history and just a very nice person.”

About: I’m a true animal lover. If it has paws, scales, fins, or whiskers, I’m already invested. I’ve cared for and fostered all kinds of pets over the years—dogs, cats, aquatic babies, reptiles, and the tiniest furry friends like bunnies and hamsters—so I’m comfortable across the board. To me, pets aren’t “just pets”…they’re family. My approach is calm, patient, and gentle. I pay close attention to each animal’s personality and respect their boundaries so they always feel safe, understood, and comfortable. At home, I’ve got my own little zoo—2 sweet cats, a bearded dragon, 2 geckos, 4 snakes, and an adorable mouse—so trust me, I’m no stranger to unique personalities and specialized care. I would love to care for your pet when you need a break, go on vacation or when you make other plans. You can be assured that your pet is in good hands. To offer the best care, my max capacity is currently 2 pets per day. 📍 Located in Milwaukee – Capitol Heights area 🌻 I work from home so I’ll always have time to play, feed and love on your pet babies. I’m always flexible with their needs (bathroom breaks, medication, shyness) to make sure they are always comfortable. If my schedule or availability changes, I always send out updates to my calendar right away. ❤️ To offer the best care, my max capacity is currently 2 pets per day. I have a fenced in back yard with plenty of space for pets to roam, play and toilet if needed. Pets are always welcome to bring their own items. My 2 lovely cats are usually shy and more of the watching type, so they won’t bother your pets but will surely admire them from their cat trees. All activities and toileting are supervised. There is no smoking of any kind in my home or pet areas. There are some pictures of our living space in the photo collection on my Rover profile.
“Thank you so much to Kim! Kim was a fantastic dog sitter for our dog Mushi today. She's very friendly and made us feel very comfortable about leaving our lab mix rescue with her while we enjoyed the Milwaukee Zoo. She walked Mushi and also gave us updates as well as pictures. I highly recommend her to watch your dog.”

About: Hi, my name is Lynn and my love for pets started at a young age. I find that dogs need more than love and affection. They need mental stimulation. While your dog is in my care, I assure you they will have all three. (Love, affection and mental stimulation) I have always had dogs my entire life. I currently have a 3 year old Lagotto Romagnolo named Bonita. She loves to play with other dogs big or small. I live across the street from a park so we will have plenty of play time. We will do lots of walks, play time as well and some down time. If you need help with basic obedience training, let's chat. If you have a kennel or doggy bed please bring it with you, as well as food and treats. I look forward to taking care of your dog(s)! Pet care is my life. I have a daily routine with my dog Bo. I take her to the dog park a few days a week and also let her run in the yard as well as across the street at the park. My days and hours are flexible, and someone is always home. I don't have a fenced in yard, but I will use a leash with your dog. I live on a quiet culdasac and have a park across the street for lots of play time.
About: I have been the go-to pet sitter for my large family & friends for years and just decided to see if anyone else would need the service. I have no pets or kids but I am a pet lover in a nice home with a big fenced in yard. I like hanging out with the pets like little buddies, getting some days of cuddles and then sending them home 😅. It’s the perfect way to get some fur baby time until I’m ready for my next dog or cat in the future. This is not a business for me, it’s something I have enjoyed doing for my family and friends, and if you want your beloved pet to be in a calm but fun, comfortable environment while you’re away, I can extend my service to you. I recently started doing home stays/drop ins for the pet sitting too and enjoyed it. I currently have a really flexible schedule with a lot of availability. I live with my dad that occasionally says hi if the dog or cat is friendly but mostly the house is big enough that they never cross paths. I have a fenced in yard and a big house with a lot of space that I can also section off by closing doors. I typically take the animals out several times a day, feed them, and let them roam around the house or snuggle with me. I like when pet owners bring a bed for their pets so I can make them their own space but they’re welcome to chill with me in whatever I’m doing. I’m youthful, active, and responsible. I have a naturally friendly, calm demeanor that animals and people respond well to. I have no pets right now but used to have a pit/black lab mix that I loved dearly so I love pits and other breeds with historically bad reputations. I frequently sit my aunt’s beagle mix who’s just a little old pup that sparked my interest for pet sitting cuz it was so fun to have visits from him. He and my old dog are in a bunch of my pics. With all animals I just try to make them comfortable and let them feel at home.

“Auria is so great with dogs! Our 6 mo old French bulldog has a great time with her and her dog Dallas. She was great giving him special attention today as he is healing a fractured leg, she understood his restrictions and made us feel assured that he was safely able to have fun at her house. This was Tucker’s second stay by Auria and he hates to leave!”

About: Hi there! We are lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience and two sweet pit bulls of my own. Our home is shared with my playful and loving 3-year-old boy and my silly, affectionate 1-year-old girl, who both love making new friends. We've spent many years in responsible dog breeding, which has given me a deep understanding of canine behavior, health, socialization, and individual needs. Whether your pup is shy, energetic, or somewhere in between, We are confident and comfortable caring for all personalities, ages, and breeds. With me, your pets will be treated like part of the family — plenty of love, attention, structure, and fun. I’m committed to creating a safe, positive environment where every dog feels at home. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! --- If you want, I can also tailor it to a specific service (boarding, drop-ins, walks, etc.) or adjust the tone to be more professional, playful, or concise. I offer flexible scheduling for pet boarding thanks to my role with a property management company, which allows me to be home often and adjust my availability as needed. This flexibility helps me give your pet plenty of attention, supervision, and consistent care throughout their stay. For everyone’s safety and comfort, we kindly require all pets to have their own crate during their stay. Crates provide a secure, familiar space for your dog to rest and relax, especially during downtime or when we briefly step out. Their safety and well-being are always our top priority. Also provide your pet with their favorite food/treats for their stay. We are also able to provide that for an additional fee.
“My puppy is 2 months and Maria was so sweet to my doggy! I had a last minute appointment and Maria was so understanding ! She catered to my dog and made sure she played her heart out . She made sure to send lots of videos and updates . Very wonderful. Thank you Maria , will be sending Tour over soon ! :-)”

“Monique was great! She was very straightforward about the process and how she has dogs in her home, which I appreciate greatly! Tatum has separation anxiety and finding an option that he feels comfortable and safe is really important! She communicated during the day on how he was doing and even got a report card and treats for his first day! This was amazing and I will be working with Monique again!”

About: I will do any service needed. I grew up having pets and pet sitting for others when I was in guam. I care for animals like they are my children because to me they are children just with 4 legs :). I’m very flexible and willing to work around your schedule and needs. Pets will be well taken care of and will make sure when they get back to you that they will be the same or better ! Also if you’re going off island and need them to stay somewhere I will also offer that service because I know how it feels to leave for work or vacation but you have no one to watch your pet. I also took care of sick pets and know how to properly give medicine. Book them with me and you won’t be disappointed.
About: I have always had dogs and they have always been treated like a family member. I do not currently have any pets so your pet will be my priority. I am retired but work part time - mostly from home- so I will be with your pet full time. I will follow any instructions you provide about caring for your pet. I have a fenced yard and a very clean environment for your pet. Your pet will get all the attention it needs and I will treat your pet like he/she were my own.

About: I helped raise my own two family dogs and ensured that they were always walked, bathed, fed, and happy. It's also a habit of mine to go take the extra step like wiping my dogs and make sure they are clean after they've been outside. I've also taken care of my neighbor's dogs alongside our own family dogs, so I have experience handling multiple pets at once. I work full-time, Monday through Friday, while working from home 2-3 days a week. I also go to workout classes in the evening. Normally, if working from home, I take the dogs out for a walk in the morning. On other days, I take them for a walk in the evening. I normally take pets out 3 times a day, once in the morning, afternoon, and night. I make sure the dogs have a dedicated spot for food and bed. I have both a park and a dog park, 5-10 minutes away from my apartment, which I can take the pets to for a walk or some dog play time. There are also multiple yard-like grass areas where the dogs are meant to do their business. If pets stay with me for longer than two weeks, I bathe them every other week.
“Erin is the best! So is her furry kid Woodson! She took my doggie in at the last minute on a snowy morning and he was so happy when we picked him up! She sent lots of updates the whole day, too! We will be asking her to watch King again??? THANK YOU ERIN!! We hit the jackpot finding you!”

“Maddalena is so helpful and flexible! I appreciate her thinking ahead- she saw it would be raining so she took our dog on a quick walk and then played with her inside. Dallie still got some energy out, and we couldn't be happier. :)”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I grew up on a farm and we always had three dogs around. I frequently pet sit for my friend's 60 pound Pitt-mix. I can give medication, and am good with puppies. I can patiently train or work with dogs who are learning the ropes. I can provide daily exercise when your dog is with me, and lots of snuggles! I work less than ten miles from home, so on most days I can pop in for a walk or potty break. I can board the same dog for up to two weeks depending on the situation. I can only take one dog at a time so your dog will get all the attention! I always follow the owner's wishes, and guidance on how to best care for their pet. I don't go overboard with treats, but I do go overboard with affection.
About: Hi! We’re Maddie & Joseph — a pet-loving couple with a lifestyle built around dogs. We offer a calm, loving, and active environment where your dog is part of the family. I (Maddie) have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and have always been hands-on with training. My grandpa has been breeding huskies since before I was born so dogs have always been a large part of my life. . I’m confident working with high-energy and large breeds, and I’m especially passionate about giving puppies the structure, love, and attention they need. I previously worked at a doggy daycare which has given me plenty of knowledge on caretaking and maintaining a happy and healthy home with multiple dogs. I (Joseph) have always had a deep love for animals—I raised a kitten growing up and worked at a reptile store where I cared for reptiles, fish, and insects before traveling for a year. Together, we’re all about giving pets thoughtful, experienced, personalized care every step of the way. 🐾 We are both currently working from home so normally one of us is always home. If we do leave your pup will never be left alone for more than an hour. Our space includes a fully fenced backyard, a dedicated doggy room with a queen-sized mattress, cozy dog beds, and an XL crate if needed. Ring cameras and security system so we know our house is always watched. Maddie has trained her super well-mannered and playful 6-year-old Siberian Husky since birth who loves making new friends. We only take in 2-3 dogs at a time which is plenty of space for our house. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe with a playground, large field and lots of kids around. We follow your dog’s routine closely and send regular updates so you always feel connected—your pup will be treated like part of the family. 🐾
“Shelby is great! We couldn’t ask for anything better. Shelby walks our dogs three days a week and she’s been on time, extremely sweet, the dogs love her and she keeps us informed on our dogs. We have a big German Shepherd that tends to pull on walks, and Shelby rose to the challenge without complaints. I highly recommend her to others looking for a walker.”

“Miranda was a wonderful dog walker. I called her last minute and she was able to accommodate my schedule. My dog was excited to see her every day. Miranda showed up promptly and gave me updates after each walk. She was very kind to both my pet and my mom who was babysitting my dog. I would highly recommend Miranda!”

About: My whole life has been around dogs and cats. I grew up with 3 cats and 2 dogs. In my adult life I owned 3 dogs. I’ve helped train puppies of my own all the way to caring for senior dogs. While growing up, my mother and I had a cat, but most of my interactions with pets occurred through my grandparents. My grandparents have always had dogs and allowed me to be actively involved in their care, including feeding and walking. This experience nurtured a deep passion and profound appreciation for animals, as they are not just our pets but integral members of our family. I embarked on my first job at McDonald's, where I gained valuable experience in providing excellent customer service. In September of my first college year, I began working at the UW Veterinary Hospital as a kennel worker. This role primarily involved cleaning and providing vet students, vet techs, and doctors with the necessary equipment for treating animals. In the following spring semester, I left the hospital and secured a position as a dog caregiver at Dog Haus University in Madison. I was already familiar with dog behavior, but this job allowed me to gain confidence in recognizing a dog's emotions through their body language. Additionally, I currently work at a doggy daycare in Milwaukee called Unifursity in the same capacity, but with the added responsibility of pottying and feeding dogs since this establishment also offers boarding services. I have experience in petsitting my grandparents' dogs in their home while they were out of town and have demonstrated my ability to maintain their routine. Being at the doggy daycare has allowed me to gain new skills such as properly administering the Bordetella and Distemper vaccination, along with solidifying my skill in maintaining a dogs daily schedule when it comes to feeding, pottying and excerise. Regarding my experience in Madison, opportunities that arose did not align with my housing situation since I did reside in the campus dorms. Patience is a quality I've developed over the years, partly due to having younger siblings who can be quite challenging. My grandma's dog, a large German Shepherd with severe separation anxiety, has given me experience in dealing with dogs who are considered "difficult." Working at the daycare, patience is crucial, as some dogs struggle to follow instructions and require consistent redirection. There have been instances of nervous dogs who were initially wary of strangers, but through careful handling, consistent communication, and positive interactions, I gained their trust while maintaining authority when necessary. I am a full-time student, but I have flexibility on times as my schedule isn’t super demanding. I do work Thursdays, Fridays & Sundays, and I’m able to be accommodating around times if needed. While I do have a full house that could be overwhelming to some pets, as a pet sitter in a client's home, I will follow their guidelines closely which may involve feeding pets according to their usual routine, administering medication if necessary, and engaging in play or exercise activities. I aim to maintain a clean and organized space, respecting the home and the pet owner's preferences. The specific services I offer may vary, so I'm adaptable to the needs of both the pet and the owner. Clear communication and a genuine love for animals guide my approach to pet care, ensuring the well-being and happiness of the pets entrusted to my care.
About: I've grown up with pets ever since I was little. I've been trusted even from young ages to walk, feed, and clean up after dogs. I've never had a bad experience and I'm always willing to encounter any and every kind of dog out there with lots of love and care! I have my own pet at home, had him for 10 years. Even after so long, it's so easy and even fun sometimes to do the little things for your pets like feeding them, walking them, and just making sure you spend some quality time with them! There's never a moment I don't want to be around my pet, or any pet for that matter! I always think the key to good pet care is real love and attention. Watching for what your pets want and giving them it will make them happy. If it's attention, bring on the cuddles! If it's a walk, let's do it! And that goes for pets that aren't mine as well. I always care for them like they're mine, and will pay attention to what they want as well as what their owners know is best too!

Safety We prioritize safety by pet-proofing our home, keeping hazardous items out of reach, and supervising pets at all times. Whether it’s backyard play or a leashed walk, we ensure dogs are always in secure, pet-friendly environments. We also tailor safety measures to each dog’s personality, energy level, and needs. Trust Building trust with both pets and their people is at the heart of what we do. We take time to understand each dog’s routine and preferences, and we maintain regular communication with pet parents, sharing updates and photos so they always feel connected and confident in our care. Environment Our home is clean, cozy, and designed with dogs in mind, with plenty of space to move, comfy spots to rest, and loving attention throughout the day. We create a calm, positive environment and adjust our approach to meet each dog where they’re at.
“We have been working with Haani for a month so far. She's so great with Gus! Since she started working with Gus, he's gotten better at understanding and listening to commands and not pulling when he's on his leash. He's always so happy to see her! Haani communicates well and is really reliable. We're excited to keep working with her.”

“Would definitely recommend Amanda as a sitter! Easy communication, easy to book, I appreciated the couple check ins during my dog’s stay! My dog came back looking well taken care of, happy, and tired from her exercise! Will definitely be using Amanda again!”

“Levi is a frequent visitor at Dan’s and loves going there. It’s Levi’s home away from home and I always know he’ll have fun, and will be well cared for.”

“I can not say enough about the outstanding care our dog received from Scott and Ashley. We received frequent updates and messages to keep us up to date. We are so very grateful that they invited our dog into their home.”

I would recommend him to anyone that needs a trustworthy person to watch their furbabies! Thank you Andrew!”

“Had to go on a trip and they hosted Kai last minute. They took really good care of him. They sent me pictures and videos which made me feel more at ease. Kai had a blast! Thank you!”

“Sarah and her family provided constant updates of my dog throughout the week. Her daughters seemed really engaged and loving on my dog, making me feel confident she was receiving all the love and affection she gets at home. When I picked her up, my dog seemed so relaxed, almost as if she hadn’t been gone all that time, helping me feel confident she was safe and loved on. Usually after boarding in a facility, my dog is highly anxious, extra agitated and disheveled. None of that here with Sarah. Her and her family were truly the best sitters. I never worried once while away.”

“I have a special-needs dog that is blind, and due to loss of sight struggles with other dogs only because he can’t see them coming. Tracy watch Dover Rocky and make sure he was OK with all the other dogs and then sent me some of the cutest pictures of him just relaxing little notes telling me he was getting along with a dog that barked at him earlier. I’m never left Rocky with any other person other than family. Tracy is not part of that family.”

“I had the pleasure of having Nikki and her lovely family watch our dog, Kota, who has a history of seizures and requires a little extra care. She did a truly wonderful job. Throughout Kota’s stay, she sent frequent pictures and updates, which helped ease our minds and kept us informed. Her attentiveness, kindness, and clear communication were greatly appreciated. Kota was in excellent hands, and it was clear she treated her like one of her own. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for dependable, compassionate care for their pet—especially if they have special medical needs.”

“Elizabeth is so friendly I immediately knew Spike was in good hands. Even better, her two boys are full of joy and were ready to pet and snuggle with my pup. When I came to pick Spike up, he looked ready to stay with his new friends!”
