About: I've grown up around dogs and learned to take care of them since I was 11 years old with two beloved Labradoodles, Mackenzie and Poppy. Knowing each of them since they were puppies and like family members, I know exactly what they need to be healthy and happy. As a sitter with years of experience fostering animals from my local shelter "Small Miracles" in Ellicott City, I've made it my goal to show others pets just as much love that I've shown to my own dogs. As a student coming home from college for the summer, my schedule is wide open for pet care most days of the week, with only the occasional evening theatre rehearsal in my schedule creating any kind of conflict When caring for pets in my clients homes, I always make sure the pet feels comfortable around me before I approach them, always making sure that they're the one to initiate an interaction that lets them feel safe, while presenting myself as calm. I adore spending time and playing with animals in a safe environment.

About: My pup is a Catahoula Leopard named Kaya. She is deaf and trained with signs and gestures, and is calm and loving towards other animals and humans. I have had a lot of experience taking care, walking, bathing, and checking in on pets for my friends and family when they are out of town. I also have taken care of and given homes to a few furbabies or strays in need a new home. I have had dogs most of my life, including one that birthed two puppies that I took care of until they were old enough for their own homes. I have had 3 dogs that lived into old age that eventually needed extra love, care and medications so I'm practiced and patient and comfortable in helping any pet with their daily needs. Please send me a message if you have any questions! :) Mondays: drop-in visits, or walks Tuesdays: drop-in visits, or walks Wednesdays: drop-in visits, daycare or walks Thursdays: drop-in visits, or walks Fridays: boarding, drop-in visits, daycare or walks Saturdays: boarding, drop-in visits, daycare or walks Sundays: boarding for drop-in visits, daycare or walks Please double check my calendar or message me for Holidays or any requests outside of my availability listed. Some times I am flexible and available outside of what I have here! I take them on walks with leashes and although my yard is fenced, I stand outside to make sure they don't get into anything unsafe. I keep a close eye on them during potty breaks and walk each dog depending on their needs. If I see another dog unleashed I walk in the opposite direction to avoid any issue.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life—dogs, cats, and just about every pet you can imagine. I grew up caring for all kinds of animals and spent time volunteering at animal shelters, gaining hands-on experience with pets of all temperaments, sizes, and ages. I bring years of real-world experience and a genuine love for animals to every walk and visit! I currently work part-time as a data analyst for a large global real estate and building company, while also pursuing my Master of Business Administration degree. My flexible work schedule allows me to make plenty of time for pet care, and I’m committed to providing reliable, attentive service around my other responsibilities. At my home, your pet will feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have a large, fully fenced-in yard where they can play and run around! A crate is available if needed, depending on your pet’s preferences. There are no other dogs in my home, so your pet will receive my full attention in a happy and homey environment. In your home, I make sure to respect your pet’s familiar space and stick to their usual routines—whether that’s feeding, walking, playtime, or just keeping them company. I always prioritize your pet’s comfort and safety, treating them as if they were my own.

“Yolanda and her daughter were so sweet and made sure to snap a photo of my cat while dropping in, even though he was being shy. I appreciate her checking in on a holiday and will definitely look to book her again!”

“Tricia has come to take care of our German Shorthaired Pointer (Pumpernickel) 4 times. Pumpernickel is a sweet dog but she can be challenging! Tricia has done a great job with her. We would definitely use her again.”

“Karine does great with meeting all of our requests, dealing with unexpected puppy troubles mid visit and keeping us informed of all things going on. She’s great with the puppy and even does some training!”

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. Dogs of all shapes and sizes. I love taking care of dogs. Playing, walking, and feeding them. They really are man’s best friend. I work full time, but telework often. I work 10 minutes from home and stop by for lunch daily. The weekends I’m home all the time. Would give full attention to all dogs. My house is the dogs house. As long as they are house trained, they have full use of the house. Nice big yard to run around. Plenty of trails to go for a walk and stretch their legs.

About: I can’t watch/be with cats I’m allergic. I can’t watch dogs in my own house because my dad is allergic. I do not have a ton of dog sitting experience. I have helped walk dogs in my neighborhood with my sister since I was about 9 or 10. My sister has a dog and my cousins have dogs. So, I am familiar with dogs and their behaviors. I am somewhat flexible my semester ends on May 14th. My current part-time job as a CNA and is not heavy. Summer schedule is tbd since I am trying to work as a student nurse also. I cannot watch any dogs in my own home because my dad is allergic and we do not have a big yard that's fenced either. However, in the comfort of the dog and owners home I make sure doors to outside are always closed/locked unless I am nearby to let a dog out. I would never let a dog off leash during walks I believe dogs should be leashed no matter how well-behaved they are and for the sake of other dogs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats on my grandparents farm from age 5 to 18. During my adult life I have either had a dog and cat at all times and now also take care of a bearded dragon. I’m a father of 3 boys, retired Army officer, soccer junkie and coach, love instilling confidence in kids and animas through structure, exercise, and care. I’m currently retired and work part time as an ROTC instructor and soccer coach so have good flexibility. If I have 1-2 days advance notice I can shift things around. I will care for pets as needed at their house and on leash walks. If a house has a fence we can go off leash.
