While I'm not a dog trainer and won't suggest how to teach your dog, I'll happily follow your instructions and support your dog's training (: I work part-time at a restaurant 3–4 shifts a week 4-5 hours long each shift, and my schedule changes weekly, so feel free to reach out to see if my days off line up with your needs. I understand puppies and certain dogs need constant supervision so reach out to see when I have time off work! For house sits, I may need to step out if I’m scheduled for a shift; but drop-ins are usually easier to schedule around. I keep my availability updated, but exact times may vary a bit week to week. I'm flexible and always try to work around your pet’s needs especially now that I’m working fewer hours during the summer! For drop-ins for cats I take care of pet duties like food/water and the litter box. Then I either play with them or snuggle. I don’t mind going a bit over time to build trust, play, and spend time with them depending on their needs (: While walking your pet, I ensure they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, following their preferred pace and routine. I prioritize safety by keeping them on a leash and being mindful of their surroundings. For house sitting, I maintain your pet’s routine, providing meals, playtime, and cuddles. I make sure they feel secure and comfortable in their own home. I also handle light tasks like cleaning up after your pet, keeping the litter box tidy, and sending you regular updates on their well-being. Your pet will feel loved and well cared for while you're away!

About: I grew up around dogs, and always knew I would want one of my own. I finally adopted my beagle rescue mix, Busy, three years ago! Being a dog mom has deepened my love for all creatures and I value any time I get to spend with all types of furry friends! I have experience with puppy training, administering medications, senior care, and more :) I am a graduate student at UCD currently on summer break! My research schedule is very flexible so I would love to come care for your puppy anytime of day :) I am happy to come take your dog for a mini adventure, hang out at your house, or anything in between! About: I’ve taken care of dog for with more than 5 years. I personally have two dogs in the house which are 10 lbs and 30 lbs. I’ve successfully trained 3 puppies in the past 5 years and also fostered before for a rescue. I’ve also been providing boarding service for my friends with at least 6 dogs, pictures are included in my profile. All the dogs will be separated when I’m out, and basic training can be provided if owner requests. I’ve successfully taking care of 5 dogs at one time including two puppies. I’m a recent graduate at UC Davis, and currently WFH all day. I will walk dogs twice a day and give them bathroom break at least 4-5 times every day. I have a fenced yard in the house. All the dogs will be separated when I’m not at home. For safety reasons, dogs will stay in the crate when humans are not around but they can be on furniture once humans are presented.

About: I grew up with a bird and dog, and a cat was recently added to the family (I do not live with any pets currently). I backpack trained the cat, made toys and fortresses for the cat, took the dog on walks and hikes, whistled to the bird, and gave all the animals as many pets as I can! I've additionally done lots of pet sitting over the years for friends and family: cats, small dogs, medium dogs, rats, mice, aquariums, and insects. I don't mind reptiles either! I have a flexible schedule, spare for Thursdays when I have class (but still available for evenings after 6pm). I am willing to wake up early or stay up late for the job. I make sure to take things slow when needed in order to prevent stress for the animals. I keep a consistent schedule for feeding and cleaning. And I try to engage with the animals as much as possible when they are up for it. There is a tendency to be more easy going but I amp up the energy for playtime and walks. I like to walk in general, so I can go far for those higher energy dogs!

About: I’ve taken care of pets ranging from dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles! Old or young I’ve done it all! Grooming, medication, no worries for me! During my time in the military I also had training with military K-9’s! So if you have a slightly more aggressive dog that may worry you for scheduling a pet sitter, I’m your guy! About: With over 20 years of dedicated pet experience, I have developed a deep understanding and profound love for animals of all kinds. My journey began with adopting my first dog, a lively mixed breed, which ignited my passion for animal welfare. Over the years, my home has been a sanctuary for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits and even reptiles (upon occasion). About: Since I was eight years old, I’ve had four dogs in my life that have been my entire world - so I understand the importance of finding the right person to care for my babies. I am confident that I am the right person to take care of your pet, because not only do I have a deep love and understanding of animals, but I also have practical experience caring for them. I have over three years experience working in a stress free certified small animal clinic - this means all the employees go through training to understand the best way to care for animals which minimizes fear in strange and stressful situations. I believe dogs, cats, cows, chickens, and any other animal deserve the respect we give to humans, and I will respect and love your pet in this same way. As I am currently in veterinary school, I have time to drop in between or after classes. I have much greater availability on the weekends. When coming to your home, I will only take your pet outside if indicated and always on a leash. On walks I do my best to work with your neighborhood to stay on side streets rather than main roads, and always make sure a collar/leash/harness is sturdy beforehand. I am trained to care for special needs animals, and can medicate orally or by injection if needed. I am also animal CPR trained (but hope I will never need to use it).

I’m all about making sure your pup gets great care and you feel totally at ease!

About: I have my own senior dog at home that doesn't do well with children or big dogs, so I know how important it is to pay attention when caring for a reactive dog. Currently, I'm a PhD candidate in ecology working with lizards and other wildlife. I got my BS in Animal Science at Cal Poly and completed all of the pre-veterinary requirements, although I ultimately fell in love with the research path instead. I've always been very observant and good at anticipating what my own pets need to be comfortable and happy and I'd love to help your pet feel more relaxed while you're gone. I'm currently a graduate student with a fairly flexible schedule, since I work from home when I'm not teaching to spend time with my own needy dog. I won't be offering boarding, as my own dog isn't the most social with other dogs. I'm happy to visit your home or take your dog on walks around the neighborhood.

About: Hello, I have always been an animal lover since visiting my Grandma's farm as a kid. My first job for that I held for 4 years in High School was at a Vet hospital, where I fed, cleaned, walked, cared for and groomed the boarding dogs and cats. As an adult, I have loved animal watching/walking for friends and family. As a volunteer, I fed and cleaned the farm animals at a non-profit ranch for autistic children. I work full time in the medical field and enjoy being active so I am excited to get outside for walks and visit your pets on my days off.
