“Gabriela was great! My kitten needs lots of love and I was so happy to see him get everything he needs during my absence. We all miss our fur babies when we’re away from home, but having Gaby’s help makes time away a little easier knowing they are being well cared for. I’ll definitely be booking her again in the future!”

“Kimberly is an absolute joy to work with! She recently completed a drop-in visit for my cat, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, Kimberly was incredibly professional, reliable, and responsive. She replies to messages quickly and was so accommodating and flexible with scheduling, which made everything stress-free for me. At the meet and greet she took lots of notes and was very thorough, thoughtful, and professional. She clearly takes a lot of pride in what she does and it shows. And most importantly, my cat absolutely adored her! It’s clear that Kimberly has a natural gift with animals. She instantly connected with my cat, making her feel safe, loved, and cared for. She paid close attention to her needs and my detailed instructions, and I could tell my kitty was happy and relaxed when I returned. If you’re looking for someone who is dependable, great with cats, and a true pleasure to work with, Kimberly is the one! I’ll definitely be booking her again in the future. Thank you, Kimberly, for taking such wonderful care of my fur baby!”

About: I have been around animals my entire life. Whether it is farm animals like chickens, goats, sheep, and horses or indoor animals such as dogs, cats, reptiles, and fish. I have learned to care for and love all types. I have experience through volunteering at animal rescues and shelters growing up. I would help take care of the cats as well as play with and walk the dogs. I know it is hard to be away from your fur babies, so I always make sure to send updates with photos of everybody. I am currently a college student with a flexible schedule, so I will have plenty of time to engage with all of your animals and give them the best care. I am very attentive and will make sure everybody has enough food and water. I will also make sure that everybody gets their energy out whether that is through playing with their toys or going on walks.

“Sarah was amazing with Sequoia. I’m a new pet owner and was very nervous about leaving my cat. Sarah was very attentive and my cat took to her well. I was very concerned having someone in my home during the pandemic. Sarah is conscientious of the recommended guidelines, she wore her mask appropriately while caring for my cat. I highly recommend Sarah and plan to rebook her for any future needs.”

“Thank you Chaya for taking such great care of our Ellie! We were worried about how she would be with other pets and kids and about the amount of time she needed boarding but you were so flexible and good to her! We really appreciate it.”

About: Years of cat experience, young kittens to very old cats. Presently have 3 cats ranging from 3.5 years old to 20 years old and have had cats all of my adult life. I am currently retired and have plenty of time to sit with your cat/s. Have fed friends & families animals whenever they were away for anything between a day & 2 weeks. I have 3 cats of mine own & they are indoor/outdoor cats although one is very old (20) and will just stay in the yard but they will all use a litter tray & have 3 to choose from which are emptied a minimum of every day & sometimes more.

About: I am a friendly pet sitter that has 2 cats but have also lived with dogs. I like both cats and dogs and am excited to help out and play with them! I am currently working full time and am free on the weekends. I am available Saturday and Sunday 9am-10pm and am very flexible with scheduling. I have two cats that I prefer to keep indoors and have a set schedule when it comes to feeding. I am familiar with the nature of cats and their body language so I am able to understand when it’s time to give them space or when it’s time to play :)

About: Hi there! I’m Alex and I’m 34 years old and I have been training for 13 years . I’ve been training from aggressive/ reactive dogs to obedience for 13 years. I specialize in rehab of rescues and dogs that have been through abuse or trauma. No dog is a lost cause, it’s whether you’re willing to put in the work. My dog is a rescue herself, and her history before I got her is still very ambiguous.I only know she was a stray in Stockton. I just recently got another dog and he is very different in personality. My dog right before her ( RIP) was my inspiration for working with dogs. His soul was so beautiful. When I first got him he had a fear of almost everything. He was fear aggressive with everyone especially men. He didn’t know what grass was because he came from the streets of San Leandro. He was a therapy and service dog and lead a life of helping others, and that’s something I want to continue on in his honor. My dog is a 88 lb AmStaff/ Red Heeler Cattle Dog. My dog loves other animals and loves meeting new people and dogs. I love all animals and have a special place for dogs. I’ve love to meet some new doggy friends and be of service however you need me. I can drop in, train or dog walk, whatever you need. I love animals and want to immerse myself in the awesomeness that is dogs and pets. My style least invasive minimally aversive or LIMA. I will always start with a base line of a slip lead. I can then make that into a head collar or harness if need be. If the owner wants to try any other tools, I ask that they request of me directly, otherwise i will work with my baseline. I specialize in reactive and fear aggressive dogs and wolf hybrids. I have also done obedience, puppy classes, desensitization. I have four prongs to my training: two group options and two solo options. the two groups types would be group classes with other dogs and their owners, and then pack walks, where i take dogs for an hour with me for a walk with multiple dogs and me. The solo options would be walk/trains where I take the dog for an hour and we drill out training together in relevant areas to the client. If I end up working with you a review is greatly appreciated. I have a full time job as a trainer through a corporate pet industry entity and want to switch to working for myself full time because I just can’t get enough of training! I will be able to do walks, training, and drop ins. I live in an apartment so I can’t have other dogs where I live.

“I found Erica on Rover and she returned my request promptly. She was available on the date I requested. Prior to the date, we set up a meet and greet. Although my Maci girl is a little shy during the meet and greet, when it came time for Erica to drop by, she warmed up and was so excited to see her. Originally, Erica was to come by at 3pm. I had a family emergency and requested that morning if she could come at 1pm instead. Erica was so sweet and flexible, we appreciate it. She sent me text messages upon her arrival, photos, videos and a special report card on all of Maci's activities. We will definitely be using Erica to take good care of our Maci again. Thank you, Erica ♥”

About: I am a CPDT-KA certified trainer with several years of experience training dogs in both private and shelter settings. In addition to my training experience, I have fostered hundreds of medical and behavioral dogs over the last fifteen years, with the majority of my fosters being behavioral or medical. I am comfortable giving subcutaneous injections or oral medications to animals in my care. I am also comfortable dealing with a majority of behavioral issues. I run a non-profit animal rescue that save hundreds of lives from our local shelters every year, and the funds I earn on Rover go towards the creation of a facility for this rescue. Private training is also available at an additional cost. I am available late afternoons and evenings on weekdays. I have morning availability on weekends. For accommodations outside of these time frames, we can work to schedule as an exception. I care for your pets like they are my own. Safety is always paramount and I take a lot of precautions to ensure pets do not escape while in my care. I supervise while pets are engaged in enrichment activities and always utilize well fitted equipment and appropriate holding techniques while walking pets.

Maci S.
“Maci has been an exceptional pet sitter for our now 14-week old American Bully puppy, Ash. From the very beginning, she demonstrated not only reliability but also a natural gift for connecting with him. Ash is full of energy and spunk, which can sometimes be a lot to handle, yet Maci consistently meets him with a calming, soothing voice that helps settle his excitement. It’s clear that her approach creates a sense of comfort and trust for him, which gives us so much comfort when we can’t be there. One moment that really stood out to us was when Maci introduced Ash to the grass potty pad. We had been struggling to get him comfortable with it but she was the very first person who actually got him to use it and not just once, but to both pee and poop on it. That was such a huge milestone and a true testament to her patience, skill, and understanding of puppies! We are so grateful for the consistency and heart Maci puts into caring for our baby, Ash. Ash adores her so much as evident by his waggly tail and yearning whine upon her arrival says it all! We also keep a journal of Ash’s daily activities to track the trend of his potty schedule, and Maci follows it impeccably. Her attention to detail gives us such confidence in his routine and care. Beyond her natural ability, Maci is also thoughtful. She never fails to give me a surprise smile with a candid photo of Ash or a simple update that brightens my day. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and truly special to care for your pets, we couldn’t recommend Maci more highly!”

Natasha P.
“Natasha is a blessing to myself and my three dogs! She is able to handle both my two senior medium (30lb) dogs and my young, much larger (85lb) dog. All three are of mixed breed and temperament, but Natasha is able to deal with anything they throw at her. Not only does Natasha walk and handle feeding, but she also works on their training when she is with them (much needed by the youngest). My dogs adore her and I am grateful to have someone that I can trust with my fur babies.”
