About: Hello! I’ve been teaching first graders for 24 years. While on breaks from teaching, I enjoy being a substitute doggy daycare provider. My fur baby goes to doggy daycare when I’m teaching first graders, so I know what it’s like to entrust others with your loved one! This is where I’ve been trained by the best Doggy Daycare provider in Lathrop! I substitute at my dog’s daycare when I’m not teaching first graders. I’ll be retiring from teaching soon, but in the meantime, I’m available on weekends when your regular provider isn’t available. I’m planning to start Labor Day Weekend in my home. Please plan to book in advance, so we can introduce your fur babies to my fur baby. My schnoodle gets along great with others at her doggy daycare, but having new friends visiting her at her house will be new for both of us, so we will want to set up a meet and greet, so everyone passes the “Sniff Test!” I’m more experienced with Shitzu’s, Poodles, Schnauzers, Yorkies, Doodles, and Cocker Spaniels no. I’m open to setting up a meet and greet with other small to medium breeds. I’m currently teaching Monday-Friday, but will be available on weekends from 4:00 pm Friday to 9:00 pm Sunday. Hourly visits are welcome, as well as over night visits. I have a large fenced back yard and my own fur baby to keep your fur baby company! I allow animals on the furniture and they get to sleep on the bed with me, unless they prefer their own crate or bedding. I have a doggy door so they have access to going potty when needed. I also live in a smoke free home.

Im a full time college student but I usually always have my own animals in my bedroom with me, sitting under (or on top of) my desk while I work. I have a friendly dog who absolutely loves play dates, so your dog would never get bored. My backyard is quite large so the dogs have tons of room to run around and play. The fences are regularly checked for holes under them to ensure our dog can't get out. I also have two large cat cages in my home where each of my cats sleep, but if needed, they can sleep in the same cage and the other one can be used to provide your pet some privacy, with their own food and water dishes. I have many many many interactive cat toys so even while i'm working, they can play with the toys that are attached to my desk and walls, along with scratching posts.

I will always start with a base line of a slip lead. I can then make that into a head collar or harness if need be. If the owner wants to try any other tools, I ask that they request of me directly, otherwise i will work with my baseline. I specialize in reactive and fear aggressive dogs and wolf hybrids. I have also done obedience, puppy classes, desensitization. I have four prongs to my training: two group options and two solo options. the two groups types would be group classes with other dogs and their owners, and then pack walks, where i take dogs for an hour with me for a walk with multiple dogs and me. The solo options would be walk/trains where I take the dog for an hour and we drill out training together in relevant areas to the client. “Thank you Susan, Miguel, and family. They were incredible and going above and beyond. We had a meet and greet the day before - mostly to chat about Maya and her tendencies. Susan is very experienced with dogs and knows how to adjust with each dog. I honestly thought Maya not eating while at a Rover’s was unusual behavior but she has observed that behavior with other dogs and has ideas on how to get her to eat. Susan came to the car to help carry items and she and Miguel helped us to the car bc it was dark outside. They are very considerate and genuine people. I liked there’s a pen to prevent Maya from running out the front door. They are experienced Rovers and really have considered everything. I also loved all the photos. They are studio quality. Susan is also very responsive. We’ll definitely book with Susan and Miguel again.”

About: I’ve dog-sat for family for about 5 years now about 4-5 times a year, I have my own dog who is 2 1/2 years old, his name is Kyro and he is a friendly Pit-bull who I adore. I’ve recently cared for 8 frenchie puppies, 2 adult frenchies (1 was mom of puppies), and a senior Frenchie for 7 days while my friend and her family enjoyed their family vacation at ease. While caring for pups, I have followed detailed instructions by owners for feeding time, medication intake, and potty time. I have so much love and patience for pups of all kind and am willing to care for your pup as you wish! I currently work part-time and have ample free time to dedicate to my own pup and my hobbies. My time management is exceptional, I am completely free all day Saturday and free to care for your pup(s) anytime after 5:00 p.m during the week. Anytime before 5 can be requested and fulfilled if time slot is available on my end. I have a fenced yard and 1 friendly dog who is always eager to meet new friends and play. About: I have spent a lot of time pet sitting family dogs, including powerful breeds like Pitbulls, Belgian Malinois, and German Shepherds. This hands-on experience taught me exactly how important structure and leash training are for a safe environment. Being a shorter person, I prefer to specialize in walking small dogs, medium dogs, or larger dogs who are already trained on the leash and calm when seeing others. Although I do have experience walking dogs who pull or get too excited, I want to ensure safety for your pet, myself, and others around me. About: Since I was a little girl, I have always had a ♥ for animals. I've cared for dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, ducks, chickens, rabbits, and a mini pig.
