I appreciated Julie’s flexibility and last minute acceptance to care for my dog. Julie and her family made Xena feel right at home and part of their family especially since she was with them on Thanksgiving. Julie sent pictures and provided updates. I think they might take better care of him than we do at home! My only disappointment is that I didn't immediately secure dates for another upcoming trip and they are not available. About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life! Mostly Pits, but comfortable caring for any breed, big or small. I have experience with trained and untrained dogs, hyper puppies, and senior dogs that need a little more patience than most. I also have experience caring for dogs that suffer from Tonic-Clonic (grand mal) seizures. I can also administer medication if needed. Rover is a part time job that also doubles as experience under my belt considering i’m going to school to become a vet technician. Personally pet care has always been apart of my daily life including cat care: feeding, enrichment, cleaning all bowls and liter box daily, bonding time(cuddles), even practicing tricks! (my cat can sit, spin, and go up on her hind feet all for a treat). Dog care includes: walking, feeding, outdoor and indoor enrichment, bathing, brushing etc. Im comfortable with pets in my home and also going to the clients home. I have 3 main areas in my home that I utilize for pet care. my finished basement which includes 2 separate rooms and a full bathroom, my backyard which is fully fenced with no grass. Lastly, the attic floor which includes my bedroom. If your pet is more hyper, I’d care for them in the basement since it has more space for zoomies and playing with toys. If your furbaby is more lazy and chill, we can relax in my bedroom!

Waffles can be sensitive to certain floors and steps, and Ashley was so patient and made sure he was comfortable. She also had a dog at home, so Waffles had a furry friend around while we were away! She sent the perfect number of pictures and videos and kept us updated, which gave us peace of mind knowing he was doing well. Waffles came home happy and healthy, and it was obvious he had a great time. We would definitely have Ashley watch him again! ❤️”
About: Our family of animal lovers includes me, my husband, and our two children—a 9-year-old son and a 7-year-old daughter. Caring for pets has always been a part of our lives, and we truly enjoy welcoming furry guests into our home. Over the years, my husband and I have shared our lives with a beloved cat and two Golden Retrievers who all left too soon. We have experienced every stage of pet ownership, from energetic puppies to senior companions. We recently said goodbye to our Golden Retriever of 13½ years, and we are now without any pets in our home, leaving it too quiet! My husband and I were raised in pet-friendly homes and have never known life without animals. We understand how important it is to find trustworthy care for your pet, and we will treat your fur baby with the same love, attention, and affection we give our own. Our home features a fully fenced backyard with a secure 54-inch fence, providing plenty of space for safe outdoor play. We live in a quiet development with little through traffic, creating a calm and pet-friendly environment. We also have a swimming pool, and with your permission, your dog may enjoy supervised swim time. For safety, the pool is protected by an automatic cover whenever it is not in use. During the school year, I work as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a neighboring school district, and my husband works as a supervisor. Together, we provide a responsible, reliable, and loving home where your pet can feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you're away—whether for a vacation, work trip, or just a day of care. Our kids will provide an extra level of love and attention when your pets visit our home. We will never host other dogs while your dogs are in our care. We host one family at a time or one group trip at a time (could consist of your pets and your friends pets). Please message us with any questions! Pet care fits naturally into our family’s routine. During the school year, the children are at school, and I am at work. My husband works swing shift, which will allow him to be home most days (M-F) with your pet(s). When he works night shift, he sleeps during the day, while the kids and I are away. In the evenings, we may or may not have baseball or gymnastics, but on nights off, we are home to enjoy the evening together. When it's time to relax, your pet can join us for quiet movie nights on the couch and enjoy all the comforts of a loving family environment. Because pets are incorporated into our daily activities, they'll receive consistent supervision, affection, and engagement throughout the day—making them feel like part of the family while you're away. As an educator and parent, I understand that every child—and every fur baby—is unique. I provide personalized care tailored to each pet's individual needs, personality, and daily routine. In our home, pets are welcomed as part of the family and included in our day-to-day activities while receiving plenty of supervision, attention, exercise, and affection. I work closely with pet owners to ensure consistency in care by following established routines, including feeding schedules, medication administration, potty breaks, exercise needs, and any special instructions or accommodations. She took very good care of our dog. She walked our dog with hers and sent us several pictures. We could tell from the pictures that she was happy and having a good time there. We could tell she had good attention from her family. We would definitely use her services again when we come back to the area.

Honey’s second stay with Chris (this time for just under a week) was just as wonderful as the first! Honey loves Chris and is best friends with his dog, Olive. Chris spends plenty of time exercising, playing with, and entertaining Honey, so I know she’s getting lots of attention and care while I’m away. He also sends tons of photos and updates throughout her stay. It’s clear how much he cares about the dogs he watches and I never have to worry when Honey is with him. I couldn’t recommend Chris more highly!
