About: I have routinely watched my coworkers dogs while they are out of town, I have 3 dogs of my own and if I could I would take in every dog that needed a home, love and a warm spot to sleep. While I understand dogs are a product of their environment, I respectfully ask not to board Pit Bull terrier mix or Rottweiler breeds. Thank you. My pets have been treated with flea and tick prevention medication. I work Monday thru Wednesday and usually am home by 2. My boyfriend will stop by at lunch and let my 3 dogs out to potty. On my days off I am usually home. I have a fenced yard and 3 dogs of my home who are friendly and welcoming to new dogs. They are not crated but I can crate yours if you wish.
About: I have worked in the vet field as a vet assistant for 9 years . I have owned animals since I could remember and caring for animals is all I know ! I will do my best to work with whatever your schedule is like! We can discuss times and days that work best for you i also offer twice a day drop ins for the owner who work longer days! Updates always! I like to send pictures and text messages updating owners how the pet is doing and what activities we do. I always greet the pets first and I like to greet with a preferred snack of pet and owners choice . Checking if need food or water / refreshing water bowls and scheduled feedings . Letting them outside to use restroom and a small play session with their pick of toy / activity . Giving praise and a treat . Lots more love before leaving and I always like to give them a favorite toy or sometimes owner have preferred going away treats when they leave the house. About: I had pets my whole life growing up (cats and dogs at the same time), currently haven’t a cat, and watch my families pets when they are out of town. “Abbey took care of our three family cats while we were on vacation in Florida for nine days, and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. Before we left, I was very worried about being away from them because our cats are such an important part of our family. Abbey made it so much easier for us to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing they were in such good hands. She communicated exceptionally well, providing updates after every visit along with pictures and videos of our cats. Seeing them and knowing how they were doing gave us tremendous peace of mind. She also kept their litter boxes clean, made sure they had fresh water and their food was full, made sure they had treats, and clearly gave them plenty of attention and care. What truly stood out was how she went above and beyond. We have an outdoor cat who would greet her every day and was always very vocal when she arrived. One day he didn't show up when she arrived. Concerned, Abbey spent time looking around for him but couldn't find him. Even though she wasn't scheduled to come the next day, she returned the next day specifically to check on him. Thankfully, he was there waiting to greet her, and knowing that she cared enough to come back and make sure he was okay meant so much to us. Currently have 2 dogs who are very loved and spoiled to death 😊 I started off dog sitting for a family member in 2019 with a senior dog, and then a puppy a couple years later.
