“Our dog had a great stay with Allan and his family. He was flexible, sent daily updates and photos, and our pup came home happy, stress free, and healthy. We would have our dog stay with Allan again anytime.”

“I recently boarded my dog, Wolfie, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. He was walked every day, and it was clear he had a fantastic time. The picture updates were a wonderful touch; they showed just how happy he was. Jayden and his family who took care of Wolfie was truly wonderful, providing exceptional service and demonstrating a high level of professionalism. The quality of care was excellent, and the price was very affordable for the outstanding service received. Overall, I highly recommend this dog boarding service. Wolfie had a great time, and I appreciate the peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands.”

“Kristie took great care of Louis! She made sure to send photo and video updates to me throughout the day which helped to reassure me he was in great care. I really appreciate how she accepted us as clients even though we needed last minute booking! Will definitely be a returning client 😊🙏🏼”

“Logan and Ellie were great pup sitters! They were available last minute and accommodated my pup more than I could ever ask for. They treated my baby girl like she was family. Great communication and even sent multiple pictures. Highly recommend! Will be using their services again.”

About: A Different Approach: dogs should have a multidimensional life just like humans! By multidimensional I mean that they should have fun activities throughout the day that stimulate their senses, use their brains to solve puzzles/obstacles and gain new experiences through adventure! This is something I have incorporated in my successful pet sitting/boarding business I have in Washtenaw county changing countless pets lives and the standard of care they are provided. After moving to La Salle one year ago, my responsibilities have become completely remote allowing me to spend more time at home! Boarding a few dogs at our home has been such a wonderful experience and we are ready to add a few more furiends to our list! Do you think your dog is ready for a new experience while you are away enjoying yours? Pet care comes naturally in our house! We wake up about 6am for potties, have breakfast, then have an activity/adventure about 10-2, have a nice nap, have dinner, potty walks come after food and then play time for the dogs who have high energy or snuggles on the couch for those who are tuckered out from our day already then potty before bed about 10pm. Dogs in our home are treated as part of the family! Our house is void of clutter for any curious chewers, plenty of comfy blankets for nap times, no sharp edges or glass anywhere to be hazardous for rambunctious days (aside from our kitchenware but the dogs eat from stainless steel dishwasher safe bowls rather than our human plates and bowls 🤣), we have a separate refrigerator for the dog food that needs to be refrigerated especially if a dog has a raw meat diet, each dog gets their own bin to put their things in like food and treats so that there is no cross contamination if someone has an allergy, we take every precaution for keeping pets from escaping including the double door method (making sure the dogs are behind one secured door in the play room before we open the front door for example). We also have multiple fenced in areas that are separated so that one yard is for potty, one for play time and one for stretching legs to keep everything clean and secured. If your dog is known to jump fences we will ask kindly to choose a different pet sitter with a fence higher than our 4ft fence to prevent any escaping. If your dog experiences the will to try to be curious of jumping a fence we do have a very long lead secured to cement so that they can still play safely. If there are ever any comments, questions or concerns we are completely transparent and hope all of our clients extend this kindness to us! Communication is so incredibly important to make sure all of our guests have the best time possible.
“We had a great experience with Andrew. We rescued our dog two months ago and it was our first time boarding him so we were understandably nervous. The frequent photos and videos we received assured us that our boy was having a good time socializing with Andrew’s dog Dante.”

“Leo seemed to feel right at home with Sandy. Her house is very well maintained. She is very friendly, and took good care of Leo. I will consider Sandy to watch Leo again with no question.”

“Paige did a wonderful job taking care of my fur baby. Sent me pictures daily of my baby, took him for walks, loved on him. I couldn't have been more pleased. Chris O”

“Janelle was amazing with our guy Oscar. We had to find someone last minute, as the person we had needed to back out. She took very good care of him and gave us daily updates as well as pics. She is a lover of all animals and it shows by the way she interacts with them. I will definitely be asking her to watch Oscar the next time we need someone and will recommend her to all of our family and friends!!”

“Jennifer has been very professional and on the top of everything, including keeping me updated with pictures and sending me timely text updates. Her diligence and communication has been excellent.”

“Zurijanne is so amazing! I am so blessed to have found someone with such a wonderful home to look after my fur baby! I highly recommend her if your sweet playful puppo needs a wonderful home of friends to play with!”

“Our pup stayed with Kayla for a week while we were traveling and Kayla was awesome. She was super communicative with pics and updates and it was such a relief knowing that our doggo was in good hands while we were away! Would highly recommend booking with Kayla ??”
“Beth was amazing with Tucker! I could tell he was in good hands. She sent pictures almost daily to keep me updated. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up times, which was very important to me. Would recommend Beth and will use her again should I need to have Tucker boarded for a long period of time.”

“Kristie and her family are definitely our future go to from now on. She sent us pictures and updates every day of our beloved fur child. Not only she took good care of Saint, but she was very understanding when we ran a bit late picking Saint up. I definitely recommend her. Thank you again Kristie!”

“My Chihuahua, Carlos, couldn't have been in better hands. I left my best buddy with Sadey for a 5 day stay at her residence while I was travelling. Sadey sent me updates and photos daily and even took Carlos to see Santa Claus. The care was second to none, and when it was time to go home, I could swear Carlos wanted to stay, lol. This was the first time I had left Carlos with anyone and I wouldn't hesitate to hire Sadey again. So much better than leaving your pet in a caged, concrete floored, kennel. Highly recommend!”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
