I am happy to follow all house rules and care for your dog in whatever way you would like me to. Walks and playtime are always a joy.

“Jay does an amazing job with Annie and sensitive to her needs. I highly recommend Jay to anyone who is in need of a dog walker especially if it's an emergent last minute situation. Thank you Jay you were a major help with Annie.”

About: I am a Registered Veterinary Technician at a shelter I used to volunteer for, and have had my own dogs and cats my entire life. I also foster animals for them, most dogs and puppies. I work at the shelter Thursdays and Fridays. I am available other days of the week on a part-time basis. I don’t have preferred days in mind at this time. I will certainly follow all instructions provided and will treat your pet as my own while in my care. I will respect and properly care for your home environment.

About: Hi! I’m Katy. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been an animal lover. I always brought the cats home from school with me and cared for my grandpa’s chickens as a kid. I have 6+ years experience of working in a vet ward caring for others animals. Our home knows no shortage of love as we have 14 cats, 10 chickens, and our dog. When you choose me, you can be certain you’ve chosen dependable, caring, protective, and proactive. I will always have your fur baby’s best interest in mind and will never hesitate to reach out if needed. I’m currently a home maker who spends most of her free time caring for her own animals. I’ve got more than enough love to share with your fur baby as well! When you hire me, you can expect quality care. Your dog/s will have plenty of time to stretch their legs. All animals will have a fresh, clean water and food bowl, and a clean space. You can expect the litter box to be cleaned and topped with fresh litter, scooped litter to be disposed of, and the floor around the litter box to be swept up.
About: I have routinely watched my coworkers dogs while they are out of town, I have 3 dogs of my own and if I could I would take in every dog that needed a home, love and a warm spot to sleep. While I understand dogs are a product of their environment, I respectfully ask not to board Pit Bull terrier mix or Rottweiler breeds. Thank you. My pets have been treated with flea and tick prevention medication. I work Monday thru Wednesday and usually am home by 2. My boyfriend will stop by at lunch and let my 3 dogs out to potty. On my days off I am usually home. I have a fenced yard and 3 dogs of my home who are friendly and welcoming to new dogs. They are not crated but I can crate yours if you wish.
“We were a little uneasy about our first time letting someone else take care of our dog, but Teagan has been great with Teemu! She can sometimes be a handful to walk but she seems to be much more well behaved with Teagan. Teagan is very communicative and flexible, she’s been very easy to work with too. We’re very grateful to have found someone who is so great with our dog, she’s made the whole thing very easy! 10/10 recommend!”

About: Located in MONROE Hi, I grew up in a home that did dog boarding, I've literally been around this my whole life. I Foster rescue dogs. I can potty train, teach tricks, work on leash skills and door manners. I have toys treats and a big yard. My house is near the lake and we take them for walks multiple times a day. My neighbors are dog trainers or fellow pet lovers. If you need a safe place to keep your pup during work or over vacation we might be the right fit for you. I have an adopted Pitbull who is literally the friendliest dog in the entire world and great with other dogs. If your dog needs to be the only dog around our home might not be ideal. Just being honest. I want us both to have the best experience possible. Meet and greets are amazing to make sure we are on the same page and to make sure all parties involved get along as well. We only offer dog walks and drop ins locally as it's to costly to do that outside of the immediate area. If outside of the Monroe are please advise. My husband and I are both not working. We have all the free time to spend with your pet that you could want. We could do holidays weekends overnights. If there is something you'd like me to work on with your pup let me know! I have a large fenced in back yard in a dog friendly beach community. We take our dog on morning and evening walks with the addition of play time in the yard or inside if it's raining. We have treats toys and space to relax. I have toys for multiple chewing needs - super chewers or tiny nibbles. I have lots of free time and just want to help where I can.

As a longtime pet owner and animal lover, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets and your home. Having cared for my own cat and looked after animals for many years, I know how to create a safe, calm, and comfortable environment while respecting each pet’s unique needs and routine.

About: Hi! My name is Jayden and my Partner Lisa and I are excited to care for your pup like they’re part of our family. Lisa works from home and I work a hybrid schedule, so there will almost always be someone home with your dog to give them attention, supervision, and plenty of love throughout the day. I also have 2-year-old twins who absolutely love dogs and are used to being around them. We always make sure interactions are gentle, safe, and fun for everyone. We have a 1-year-old King Charles Spaniel named Redford who is very friendly and loves having other dogs around to play with. We love getting outside and making sure dogs get plenty of exercise and stimulation. Our goal is to make your dog feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home while they’re with us! I am completely free on the weekends. Happy to do drop in visits or walks. I am also free during the evenings and during lunch hours on Wednesday and Friday. Let me know what schedule will work well for your pet. I will treat your pets like they are my own. I will make sure to give them the love and attention that they need and carefully look over your instructions to make sure they are properly cared for.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
