“Seriously he is the best dog walker that I have ever had. I’m extremely grateful Rover. You have one heck of a dog walker on your hands. And I’m really grateful that he lives in my town. Thank you Hunter for everything that you’re doing for me. Above and beyond.”

About: I am a stay at home mom with 2 school - aged boys. My kids love dogs almost as much as I do and are very good at helping out with them. I have been a dog owner for 30+ years and our dogs have always been treated like family, including having their own Christmas stockings. We adopted our sweet senior rottie mix, Roary, back in 2023 and our indoor/outdoor kitten, Biscuit, in 2025. I will only care for dogs in my home that get along with children, dogs, and cats so everyone will feel comfortable. If your dog plays well with others, (s)he will be treated as family! I work from home, so I spend the majority of my day at home. Your pet will not be alone for long, if at all. We live on 3 acres and while we don’t have a fenced yard, your pet will spend plenty of time outside (on a leash) and be walked around the yard every few hours. I currently work from home. I will be able to take your pet for multiple walks daily and attend to their needs consistently. Even though I work from home, my time is important. Last minute requests will have a $25 charge added to the booking. I do not have a fenced yard, but I have a good amount of property and will walk your pup throughout the day. If they need more exercise, I do have a long lead I can put them on to play fetch or just run around. I do not allow the pups to be outside unsupervised or unleashed at any time.
About: I’ve had experience with dogs my whole life. Growing up, my family bred Australian shepherds. I’ve owned small dogs like a Chihuahua and big dogs like Great Pyrenees. I’ve had experience with just about every breed of dog. I grew up in farm land and I love animals of all shapes, sizes, and breeds. I’m a pitbull lover as I currently own one. I love being outdoors and giving lots of cuddles! I currently work full time in a school so I get plenty of time off including holiday breaks and summer hours. I only work 7 hours a day Monday-Friday. So I’m available for overnight care. I’m available most weekends as well. I would feel more comfortable in your home so your pets don’t get any anxiety being away from their safe place. I’m trustworthy and reliable. I’ve had background checks and I have reliable sources. Your pet will be in good care with me.
About: I’ve always had a love for animals and a natural instinct for taking care of them. I’ve pet sat my uncle’s dog several times, making sure they were walked, fed, and felt at home while he was away. I also watched over my parents’ Great Dane for a full week while they were on their anniversary trip — managing meals, walks, and plenty of cuddle time with a 150-pound gentle giant. Whether it’s a high-energy pup or a chill senior dog, I treat every pet with patience, care, and respect. You can count on me to show up, follow instructions, and make your pet feel safe and loved. I'm currently searching for employment, so I'm available anytime. Seeking to make some money on the side while job hunting. What better way than to do what i love - spend time with animals I have a fully fenced backyard on a 23-acre property, and three friendly dogs who love meeting new buddies. Your pet will have space to play and relax safely. I can easily crate your dog if needed, follow any feeding or medication instructions, and always make sure your fur baby feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like they’re part of the pack.

About: I have 21 years of comfortability around pets (since I was born) and 3 years of professional pet sitting experience with both dogs & cats :). I have experience with senior pets & puppies! I have a part time job but my shifts are usually less than 8 hours. **if your pet cannot be left alone for 6-8 hours please give me at least 3 weeks of notice so I can make sure my work schedule is aligned to their needs.** I treat my pets with love, care, and as a part of my family! About: I have over 5 years of professional pet care experience and as an emergency veterinary nurse. Your pets safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I have three dogs of my own and have been surrounded by animals my entire life, so I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine. When caring for your pets in your home, my goal is to try to keep their routine and to make it as stress free as possible. I'll follow your instructions, if provided, for walks, play time, and any special routines they may have.
About: I have been a part time dog sitter, cat sitter, house sitter, etc since I was 10 years old. I've also been a volunteer at my local animal shelter since I was 15. I've taken care of old dogs, young dogs, energetic dogs, couch potato dogs, friendly dogs, shy dogs, big dogs, small dogs, you name it. I've been doing this a long time and I've gotten really good understanding each pet and their individual needs. Every dog is different, and I love them all. I also have experience with dogs who need medications and ear drops, and I am Red Cross certified in Pet First Aid! I provide pet care full time, helping owners have peace of mind when they have to leave their buddies behind for a trip, or to go to work, it makes me happy knowing I can help out people and animals who could use an extra set of hands. I have an active personal life, always making plans friends and family, but offering services on here allows me to plan my leisure time around times I'm needed for pet care. Firstly, I want to say I understand meeting people online and inviting them into your home can be very anxiety inducing, and I want to reassure you that with me, your pet, your house, and your belongings are safe. If you have ANY questions or concerns, please let me know. I'm here to help answer anything that could cause you worry. Your pets are part of the family and I understand staying safe is a priority. When I personally am trusted to stay in someone's home, I usually stick around the same area of the house out of habit. I keep food where it belongs to prevent mishaps, and keep things off the floor to prevent injuries of their me or pets. When going for walks I like to stick to trails or sidewalked areas that have decent cell reception, just in case. I keep treats with me, extra bags, and have a phone holder for my wrist so I can have a hand free, especially for dogs who get excited from wildlife and could suddenly pull really hard anytime. I keep a pop up bowl and a bottle for water breaks. Before going for longer walks I touch test the path in case they are too hot. I also have experience putting jackets on dogs in the colder months.

About: I have been caretaking in many capacities since I was an early teen between babysitting, house sitting, cleaning, as well as taking care of animals with feeding and walks. Currently, my own dog doesn’t take to new pet friends easily so I do not offer to board at my home, but most other services are offered. Any day/time blocked off will be when I am home caring for my 7yo solo, but our kiddo is a big animal lover as well. So, if you and your pets are comfortable with children please feel free to send a message and/or request those days as well. Thank you! I look forward to earning extra income within a community of like minded people! My time is always flexible! I enjoy routines in some aspects of life, but I also love when no day is the same! This makes me able to work with multiple individuals and families and provide multiple services. With a three-day cancelation policy and fair rates, I am confident we will have your beloved family taken care of within your timelines. In your home for sitting and drop-ins, you can expect me to arrive promptly and treat your home and pets with integrity. Your fur babes will be comfortable and treated just as if you were there so they don't miss a beat!
About: My name is Lou, and I'm an aspiring beekeeper / amateur naturalist. I love all critters, big and small, and have a talent for effective care. I grew up around dogs, cats, and rabbits. In my recent adult life, I cared for a geriatric black cat (Jellybean) who quickly became my best friend. I miss that grumpy furball with all my heart (he has since passed). I currently help my mom care for her big ball of energy bernedoodle (Floyd). He has taught me that training a puppy takes consistency, compassion, and adaptability. We love going on walks at our local park! I have house-, cat-, dog-, chicken-, horse-, and garden-sat for many friends and colleagues, and would love to assist you with whoever you love — be they furred, scaled, winged, or environmental! We all need extra help sometimes. I'd be happy to provide care for your pet(s), so you can focus on what you need to and live the life you want, and come home to a happy healthy critter companion. My schedule is highly flexible. I prefer to work with your pet(s) during the day, but am open to evening check-in visits as well. Not currently doing overnight visits. With a little context from yourself about their routines, I will do everything in my power to make sure your pal is comfortable and happy.

About: I was grew up on a farm and have spent most of my life with animals. I worked at a local vet clinic in high school, trained horses and I have worked in rescue. My family always had at least one dog for as long as I can remember. I got my first Border Collie, Dexter, when I was thirteen. Dex and I did everything together and he's the one who made me fall in love with Border Collies and all things dog related. I have been training, showing and breeding for nearly 23 years. The dogs I have now are involved in disc, agility, dock diving, obedience and herding. I enjoy all animals but dogs and horses will always have a special place in my heart because so much of my life has been spent with them. My hours are generally very flexible and I am available whenever best suits you and your pets needs. Most of free time is spent with my dogs or with clients. I'm not watching pets at my home right now because my oldest dog doesn't like strangers and I don't want to upset him if I don't have to. *Currently rewriting my profile please excuse the chaos*

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
