About: I have loved animals from a very young age, convincing my parents to get me my own dog when I was 10 years old. Her name was Zoey! I trained her myself, and she was my best friend. Not long after that, I began dog sitting for friends and eventually also spent time cat sitting and taking care of animals like chickens and bunnies. Being a dog groomer for over ten years has given me the opportunity to get accustomed to all different breeds and ages of dogs. I've worked with everything from five pounds on up. We have two frenchies both are two years old ( please keep in mind when they first meet a new dog they get very excited, can have a lot of energy and LOVE to play) We have also had experience with numerous breeds. Your fur baby will have lots of fun and love in our home. Having two frenchies, we know how high maintenance some dogs can be, that’s why it’s important to us to provide the best experience for you and your fur baby. During Monday-Friday I work 8-5. However, Matt does work from home so will be able to give your fur baby all the love and attention!( if Matt does have to step out it’s typically no longer than 2 hours but not often ) If you have any questions regarding our schedule, please feel free to reach out. If for some reason Matt does have to leave for more than a couple hours, we will block that day off as we do not believe in leaving fur babies alone for long periods. We are homebodies on the weekends as well. So someone will always be with your fur baby. We will make sure your fur baby gets plenty of walks and outside time. We live in a nice/quiet neighborhood. When the weather is nice, our frenchies love to sun bathe, play fetch, we also set up their splash pad, so we spend lots of time outside. We do allow dogs on our bed and furniture( if you allow it) we will not crate your dog unless we do have to step out ( which again is not often). During the night, we will not crate unless you prefer them in a crate. Please let us know if there is any special request and we can accommodate. We do ask for a meet n greet for any boarding to make sure your dogs and our two frenchies get along. Your fur baby’s safety and comfortability will always be our priority as well as our babies. We know how it feels leaving your fur baby and you might get anxious so we will make sure to send a daily update. *Please note we are happy to accommodate large dogs, they MUST get along with little dogs. I do require that you sign a pet care agreement form for day visits and a grooming consent form if you would like your dog groomed. I have a fenced in yard where your dog can explore freely, supervised of course. During the day your dog would have freedom to roam around the house. I do require that your dogs be up to date on their rabies vaccination (need to show proof) and on a flea preventative. I will not book without doing a meet and greet first. We need to make sure this is the best possible environment for your dog and for mine. I am certified in dog first aid and CPR should a situation arise. If I have to leave the house for any unforeseen reason your dog will be crated. This is for your and my dog's safety.

I keep treats with me, extra bags, and have a phone holder for my wrist so I can have a hand free, especially for dogs who get excited from wildlife and could suddenly pull really hard anytime. I keep a pop up bowl and a bottle for water breaks. Before going for longer walks I touch test the path in case they are too hot. I also have experience putting jackets on dogs in the colder months.

About: Hello! I’m Amy and i’m 21 years old. I’ve had dogs since I was about 5 years old. I’ve also had a couple parrots and have taken care of other pets along the way. I really love being around animals and taking care of them especially going on walks. Walking benefits me and the pets so there really is no down side. I am in school, I will be graduating soon.
