About: I have worked/owned dogs for my whole life. I currently volunteer weekly at a animal shelter taking care of puppies brought into the rescue. I have fostered and found homes for numerous dogs and ensured they are in a safe environment and are loved. I help friends and family with their pets through walking, playtime and feeding while they are away. I think pets bring great joy to our life and deserve to cared for properly I work from home full time and am able to be flexible with fitting pet care into my routine. I can even with proper wifi work from your own home. For clients homes I can follow their directions and regimens. I have understanding of dogs needs when it comes to activities, feeding and decompressing. Whatever makes you and the animal safe and comfortable.

About: I want you to know that I have experience with giving animals pills. I have also watched dogs with trauma who have a hard time accepting new people because I have a calming presence. Not officially trained but have taken care of dogs through seizures and I'm always willing to learn more. I currently work full-time during the week between the hours of 3pm-10pm on monday and 1pm-10pm Tuesday through Friday so I am always willing to visit during the midday to check on your furry babies. I can always watch them if you have a weekend where you are away. I will not be able to take care of pets in my home because I am not allowed dogs and currently already have the max number of cats.

About: Hello! I’m Amy and i’m 21 years old. I’ve had dogs since I was about 5 years old. I’ve also had a couple parrots and have taken care of other pets along the way. I really love being around animals and taking care of them especially going on walks. Walking benefits me and the pets so there really is no down side. I am in school, I will be graduating soon. I have a part time job as well but would love to care for pets whenever possible and hopefully help out a you busy pet owners ! I would like to mostly take the pets on walks outside so the home environment won’t be an issue :) It is a safe place though.

About: I am a hard-working and genuine dog lover. I have done dog sitting over the years for a lot of family friends. Most importantly I did canine training for a year that includes getting a certification. My family has a lot of animals that includes one dog two cats. Most of my coursework and internship work can be done remotely and asynchronously, so I’m flexible and willing to adapt to your pet’s needs!! I also am from the Metro Detroit area and can stay with family there, so if you’re looking for services there I may be able to still help out. Unfortunately, my current lease agreement doesn’t allow me to have pets in my own home. That being said, I find that this is often a comfort to most pets. It can be a tough adjustment when both your owner and home are suddenly gone! I do my best to make sure I follow your pet’s routine to the best of my ability. I also take into consideration pet personalities, likes and dislikes, and try my hardest to intuitively and empathetically care for them. As someone who grew up with pets of all temperaments (from escape artists to insanely energetic to couch potatoes), I am able to build relationships with each pet individually and anticipate their wants and needs. Pets are just as smart (if not smarter ;) than people, and I make it a given that I treat them as such. There are no silly questions or requests! I am happy to cater to what YOU believe and know your pet needs, and work especially hard to keep you updated (unless you request against it). I have taken many veterinary medicine related classes as well as exotics. I can care for senior pets, puppies, and everything in between with the same love and care that I would my own. I currently work full-time but I am always looking to switch up my routine. I am awake early for my job so walking or taking pets out for the bathroom and breakfast in the morning perfectly aligns. The same goes for when I am home from work. During the weekends, I tend to be outside so walks, hikes, trips in the car are frequent. I will follow all guidelines given to me by the pet parent. I will also pay special attention to medical cases, seniors or those who may need it. With me, there will be lots of snuggles, potty breaks, walks, and vital checks (if needed) just like with my own fur babies. I can crate if needed but I prefer not too if it is not necessary.

We provide beds, toys, and treats. However, you are more than welcome to bring anything for your fur baby to make them feel comfortable and at home. Currently we have 2 pets of our own in our home. A 4 year old Chihuahua (Minnie) who’s spayed and up to date on all of her vaccines and Loki-a 2 year old cat. He is also neutered and also up to date on all of his vaccines. Please don’t worry as they both are very friendly and enjoy playing with each of our guest. If you have any concerns please feel free to reach out. During feedings we ensure each guest is fed in separate spaces. My loving husband is working from home most of the time as well. Together we also have 2 very caring, loving, passionate children ages 9 and 16 who also help out occasionally with walks, and potty breaks. Both of our boys love to play outdoors and run in the yard with our fur baby besties! We also conduct 2-3 walks a day to ensure our guest are getting the exercise they need. If your fur baby doesn’t care for walks please ensure to tell us prior to the stay. we also conduct monitored every hour potty breaks in our large fenced in yard as well. We have a large fenced in yard and a friendly dog-Minnie to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed but not necessary.
