I do have a fenced in back yard and large dog crate, when I care for your dog at their home they have the benefit of staying in their familiar environment. About: I have been a part time dog sitter, cat sitter, house sitter, etc since I was 10 years old. I've also been a volunteer at my local animal shelter since I was 15. I've taken care of old dogs, young dogs, energetic dogs, couch potato dogs, friendly dogs, shy dogs, big dogs, small dogs, you name it. I've been doing this a long time and I've gotten really good understanding each pet and their individual needs. Every dog is different, and I love them all. I also have experience with dogs who need medications and ear drops, and I am Red Cross certified in Pet First Aid! When I personally am trusted to stay in someone's home, I usually stick around the same area of the house out of habit. I keep food where it belongs to prevent mishaps, and keep things off the floor to prevent injuries of their me or pets. When going for walks I like to stick to trails or sidewalked areas that have decent cell reception, just in case. I keep treats with me, extra bags, and have a phone holder for my wrist so I can have a hand free, especially for dogs who get excited from wildlife and could suddenly pull really hard anytime. I keep a pop up bowl and a bottle for water breaks. Before going for longer walks I touch test the path in case they are too hot. I also have experience putting jackets on dogs in the colder months.

Taking care of pets will be stress relief from school since I'll get to be around animals! 😁 I will ask the owner what rooms the pets are not allowed in (if any) and always watch them to make sure they don't destroy any furniture. I will spoil your cats/dogs with pets and treats (if allowed) to gain their trust and feel safe with me. About: Hello! I’m Amy and i’m 21 years old. I’ve had dogs since I was about 5 years old. I’ve also had a couple parrots and have taken care of other pets along the way. I really love being around animals and taking care of them especially going on walks. Walking benefits me and the pets so there really is no down side. I am in school, I will be graduating soon. I have a part time job as well but would love to care for pets whenever possible and hopefully help out a you busy pet owners ! I would like to mostly take the pets on walks outside so the home environment won’t be an issue :) It is a safe place though.
