Best sitter EVER!!! We trust Angela 100000% with our babies. She leaves the most thoughtful post walk notes, takes photos of our animals, really takes the best care of them, and goes above and beyond. 100/10 will always always come to Angela!!

Lindsay is fantastic! Our skittish sheltie warmed up to her because of her kindness and patience and his walks with her were the highlight of his day. We will definitely use Lindsay again. Highly recommend.

About: I have owned dogs my entire adult life, usually two at a time. Whether your dogs like to play, be chased, fetch, go on walks or just chill and be pet or brushed I’m happy to do any of the above. My dogs Rebel and Eve particularly love being chased from the front yard to the back yard and around the patio table, going for walks, and being combed and brushed outside on the deck especially on a nice sunny day. I am currently a graduate student getting my Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education. I take classes two days a week over the summer. I am a very trustworthy person. I have worked in the local community at my childrens’ former elementary school for 10 years and prior to that, I volunteered at the school. During the school year, I substitute teach in the Romeo and Rochester School Districts and go to Oakland University where I am earning my Master’s degree in Elementary Education. While in your house I will respect your privacy and only enter areas specifically agreed upon between us and be sure to clean up any incidental messes that your pet may make, check and double-check to ensure that your pets are safe and secure in any kennels or cages (if used) and the doors are locked. Basically, I will treat your home as I would my own…and I am a very neat and organized person. 🙂

Very pleasant and accommodating. I had her over to my parents home where my dog was staying to walk my pup on relatively short notice. My parents dogs as well as mine all obviously took a shine to her, she sent me photos of the dogs, and was over every day she said she would be and walked for at least 30 min. Definitely someone I would recommend!

Was able to enjoy a few days out of town knowing I could depend on Allison to take care of my pups with dog walks and drop ins. She's prompt, keeps me updated, takes great pics, and is 100% dependable! My pups love her and we're lucky to have her help 💜

Maddie A. is an outstanding pet sitter. She provided exceptional care for Percy while I was away at a concert, keeping me updated with regular check-ins throughout the stay. She was incredibly professional, and it was clear that Percy was in great hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive sitter.

About: I have cared for and owned all different kinds of animals. I have been in the horse riding industry since I was 8 years old so I am not skiddish towards other animals. I truly have a passion for animals and I am very able and willing to do what it takes to take care of your beloved pets!! I am currently a full time student, however I am a commuter so I have the ability to travel freely in between classes and outside of classes. I am on summer break from May-September and have a virtually free schedule for whatever you may need! I am more than happy to confine to whatever you may need me to do in order to give your pet the best care possible. I have slept over, done drop ins, walks, etc. with other dog and cat sitting jobs and I am very comfortable.

About: Hello! I’m experienced with boarding tasks (feeding, administering medications, etc.), basic training, and in-home pet care. While I can't host pets at my place, I love coming to yours for walks, backyard play sessions, and overnight stays. **Dogs:** Happy to tire them out with walks, play, and potty breaks. **Cats:** Patient and gentle — I'll take the time to earn their trust. Previously worked with a small pet care business visiting clients' homes, so I'm comfortable following your specific instructions and treating your space with respect. Your pet stays happy at home. You stay worry-free. It’s a win-win! I’m currently working part-time at a dog kennel so I’m usually working 2-3, 8 hour or 6 hour shifts a week. If asked about requests in advance, I may be able to request time off to accommodate client needs. I don’t have the room to board dogs or cats in my current situation, however I am very experienced with boarding tasks and basic training. I absolutely love taking walks or just doing some play sessions in the backyard and enjoy getting kitties to warm up to me. I would mainly be looking for walks/play and potty visits, or pet sitting in the owner’s home.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats since childhood and have been involved in their daily care for many years, including feeding and basic routines. I’ve also helped care for and watch family and family friends’ dogs, giving me experience with different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I enjoy spending time with dogs, whether that means walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company. I understand the importance of structure, attention, and making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m responsible, attentive, and will treat every dog as if they were my own. I do part time shifts at an endoscopy center which normally takes up 6-8 hours throughout the day. I work up to 3 times a week but can always change days or take days off to accommodate your pet as long as I have enough notice in advance. I provide care in clients’ homes by following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. This includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions provided. I make sure pets are safe, calm, and well cared for, and I pay close attention to their behaviors and needs. I also respect the client’s home by keeping things clean, organized, and secure, and I will always communicate if anything seems off or requires attention.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and caring for pets has always been a natural part of my daily routine. I currently have two dogs of my own — a 5-year-old Cockapoo named Henry and a 1-year-old Goldendoodle named Finn — so I’m very familiar with different energy levels, personalities, and care needs. From long walks and playtime to reinforcing routines and providing lots of love and attention, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away! Pet care fits very naturally into my routine since I currently work part-time teaching fitness classes, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. Outside of teaching, I spend most of my time caring for my own two dogs, Henry and Finn, so daily walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and giving pets attention are already a big part of my lifestyle. I enjoy being active and outdoors, making dog walks and visits something I genuinely look forward to! I treat pets in my home like part of the family and focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while sticking to their normal routine as much as possible. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, potty breaks, fresh water, feeding on schedule, and a calm environment to help them feel at ease. Since I have two friendly dogs of my own, I’m very experienced with managing different personalities and energy levels while making sure every pet gets individualized care and supervision. I also understand how important communication is, so I’m happy to send updates and photos to owners while their pets are with me.

About: I have dealt with many cats in my life, I have my own cat of 8 years who I raised my self, I am also good with dogs, even though I’ve only owned one, I took good care of her! I have school and work, but my work sadly doesn’t give me much hours at the moment, so I’m looking for a little extra work, and this seems like a great way to help my community as well! I’d say I am a pretty reliable person, I will most likely clean your house while house sitting if you are comfortable with it! and I will treat your animal like they are my own!

I am comfortable with all types of dogs and cats, with all different personalities- that’s what makes them all unique and I love it! I am currently very flexible with my weekly routine and I am more than happy to meet with you beforehand if you feel more comfortable. As an avid cat owner, I have Toulouse naturally leash-trained. I have an enclosure for him so he can enjoy the outside, while also being safe. At clients’ homes, I follow all instructions to make sure the pet is safe. About: I have cared for animals ever since I was 10 years old. I’ve had small pets of my own, two dogs (a pit bull and a corgi) and my roommate owns two cats, as well. I have no allergies and have a smoke free home! I’m a teacher during the school year, so I’m just looking to keep some animals company this summer while on break! I’m not working in the summer, so I have a lot of time to stop in and care for animals or go for walks. I can do weekdays and weekends pretty much all times of the day. I live in a new build home and subdivision, so when I walk my dog it has to be on a leash. I am happy to leash walk, harness walk, or crate animals.

About: I love all kinds of dogs! I have a maltese shihtzu mix that I have been taking care of for 9 plus years. I love the outdoors! I am used to taking dogs outside to use the restroom, and I also have experience with pad trained dogs and dogs who are still being house broken. The only dogs I cannot watch are rottweilers, and dobermans. Unfortunately, on average the risks are higher with these breeds. I am a teacher. Since I do not teach during summer vacation, I am highly available during the summer, morning to night. During the school year (Sept-May) I am available to walk your dog and house sit early in the morning before school (5-7 am), after school is let out (4:30 pm-late), or all day/night on weekends. I love to give lots of snuggles to keep your furry friend happy and feeling loved! I am a big advocate for routine and a pet’s emotional/mental stability, so you can rely on me to be timely whether that means house-sitting, feeding, or going on walks with your dogs.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Wolcott Mills. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

  • 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 99% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
