I don’t use crates unless the owner requests; and the babies sleep with me! For dogs that might be a bit nervous or crabby away from home, I use lavender and chamomile oils to sooth their nerves. My goal is to love and enjoy your animals and provide them with the best possible and safest environment. I love to take photos & will send lots of pics of your babies while you’re gone. Brad works from home half of the week so he is able to let the dogs in and out as they like throughout the day. However on “in office” days, the dogs would be free to roam the house while we are at work (typically 8am-5pm). We follow the schedules given to us by the owner and always treat our guest dogs as one of our own. Our kids love to play fetch with the dogs and run around with them outside.

About: I have owned dogs my entire adult life, usually two at a time. Whether your dogs like to play, be chased, fetch, go on walks or just chill and be pet or brushed I’m happy to do any of the above. My dogs Rebel and Eve particularly love being chased from the front yard to the back yard and around the patio table, going for walks, and being combed and brushed outside on the deck especially on a nice sunny day. I am currently a graduate student getting my Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education. I take classes two days a week over the summer. I am a very trustworthy person. I have worked in the local community at my childrens’ former elementary school for 10 years and prior to that, I volunteered at the school. During the school year, I substitute teach in the Romeo and Rochester School Districts and go to Oakland University where I am earning my Master’s degree in Elementary Education. While in your house I will respect your privacy and only enter areas specifically agreed upon between us and be sure to clean up any incidental messes that your pet may make, check and double-check to ensure that your pets are safe and secure in any kennels or cages (if used) and the doors are locked. About: My name is Julia, I am 34 years old and I have been around animals my whole life so I am extremely comfortable with cats and dogs as well as their individual needs. I believe pets are apart of the family and I treat them with the best care. In my home I have 1 dog, 3 cats and 2 reptiles and they bring me so much joy! I am looking forward to meeting you and spoiling your pets I currently have an open availability to be able to help with your various pet needs and am available to check in on your pet multiple times per day. “My boy Chauncey stayed with Dan and Clare for three nights four days. I was sent multiple forgraphs to show how he was faring including him eating and sleeping. I had a GPS collar on him which showed the amount of play time and rest time he was given. (A LOT)!! Their yard is huge and fenced. Unfortunately my dog has learning to jump over cyclone fencing the week before staying with Dan and Clare; therefore, I put his GPS collar on him. They watched my sweet naughty (sporting dog - very concentrated on looking for creatures and can lose his mind by only having those thoughts in his head ;-) ) and I could tell much attention was given to watching out for him and guaranteeing he was safe. Their three dogs - after they bark upon your arrival - are very sweet and very accepting of newcomers. I would use them again in a heart beat. I travel on the road with my dog and also spend time in Texas so it will be hit and miss when the need arrives. However, should you want a safe, clean, dog "resort" for your pup go here. Lots of new smells, critters to chase and great hosts for your four legged family member, Thank you Dan and Clare!”
