“My boy Chauncey stayed with Dan and Clare for three nights four days. I was sent multiple forgraphs to show how he was faring including him eating and sleeping. I had a GPS collar on him which showed the amount of play time and rest time he was given. (A LOT)!! Their yard is huge and fenced. Unfortunately my dog has learning to jump over cyclone fencing the week before staying with Dan and Clare; therefore, I put his GPS collar on him. They watched my sweet naughty (sporting dog - very concentrated on looking for creatures and can lose his mind by only having those thoughts in his head ;-) ) and I could tell much attention was given to watching out for him and guaranteeing he was safe. Their three dogs - after they bark upon your arrival - are very sweet and very accepting of newcomers. I would use them again in a heart beat. I travel on the road with my dog and also spend time in Texas so it will be hit and miss when the need arrives. However, should you want a safe, clean, dog "resort" for your pup go here. Lots of new smells, critters to chase and great hosts for your four legged family member, Thank you Dan and Clare!”

I know my boys Apollo and Comet love staying at Audrey’s too, this was their third time and when we got there they got so excited that they couldn’t wait to get out of the car, they ran straight to her. She has a big fenced back yard where the dogs can run and play, and Apollo and Comet love that. She sends daily pictures and videos of the boys, and they look happy and settled. She would even go out of her way to go find one of them if they were hiding under a bed to make sure they were ok. About: I am a stay at home mom with 2 school - aged boys. My kids love dogs almost as much as I do and are very good at helping out with them. I have been a dog owner for 30+ years and our dogs have always been treated like family, including having their own Christmas stockings. We adopted our sweet senior rottie mix, Roary, back in 2023 and our indoor/outdoor kitten, Biscuit, in 2025. I will only care for dogs in my home that get along with children, dogs, and cats so everyone will feel comfortable. If your dog plays well with others, (s)he will be treated as family! I work from home, so I spend the majority of my day at home. Your pet will not be alone for long, if at all. We live on 3 acres and while we don’t have a fenced yard, your pet will spend plenty of time outside (on a leash) and be walked around the yard every few hours. I currently work from home. I will be able to take your pet for multiple walks daily and attend to their needs consistently. Even though I work from home, my time is important. Last minute requests will have a $25 charge added to the booking. I do not have a fenced yard, but I have a good amount of property and will walk your pup throughout the day. If they need more exercise, I do have a long lead I can put them on to play fetch or just run around. I do not allow the pups to be outside unsupervised or unleashed at any time.

About: Hi there! I have had animals at home my whole 30 years of life! From cats to dogs to rabbits & chickens! I have been professionally watching peoples pets for the last 5 years. I did attend a vet tech program in 2018. I have experience with puppies, all the way to senior care. I am comfortable and experienced at administering meds as well! I am a stay at home mom to a school aged boy. I am home pretty much all day every day. Making my availability extremely flexible. All pets will be at the main floor of our home, we do have a basement. We are not fenced in but are completely surrounded by woods on our 5 acres of land! About: I’ve owned and taken care of animals since I was a young girl. I got my first puppy in second grade and she was with me until I turned 18. She was a Boston, so I know the special care and attention that brachys need. My current pup is an 8 year old, slightly reactive German Shepherd. I am able to accommodate various needs to make your pup more comfortable. I cannot remember the last time we have went for a walk at a “normal” time haha. I also have a lot of experience caring for elderly dogs and can lift, hand feed, prepare special meals, tidy messes, etc. I currently dog sit twice a week for a family member (though am unsure how long it will be continuing) and am in school full time online alongside extracurricular activities. I am chronically ill and currently unable to work a “normal” job, so dog sitting allows me to do something I love while also prioritizing my own health. The only set times where I am busy are Tues/Thurs after 8pm, Fridays at 5-6pm, & Sundays from around 10-1pm (until 5/24, then just 10-11:30 am). I currently offer in house dog sitting/check ins, which means I can come check on your fur baby in the comfort of your own home. My responsibilities for my current gig are making sure pup is fed, let outside multiple times (if it is not just warm enough to let him hang out in the yard as long as he wants), and some basic cleaning (bathroom, kitchen, vacuuming, mopping floors). I would be happy to discuss this sort of thing with you as well!

Firstly, I want to say I understand meeting people online and inviting them into your home can be very anxiety inducing, and I want to reassure you that with me, your pet, your house, and your belongings are safe. If you have ANY questions or concerns, please let me know. I'm here to help answer anything that could cause you worry. Your pets are part of the family and I understand staying safe is a priority. When I personally am trusted to stay in someone's home, I usually stick around the same area of the house out of habit. I keep food where it belongs to prevent mishaps, and keep things off the floor to prevent injuries of their me or pets. When going for walks I like to stick to trails or sidewalked areas that have decent cell reception, just in case. I keep treats with me, extra bags, and have a phone holder for my wrist so I can have a hand free, especially for dogs who get excited from wildlife and could suddenly pull really hard anytime. I keep a pop up bowl and a bottle for water breaks. Before going for longer walks I touch test the path in case they are too hot. I also have experience putting jackets on dogs in the colder months.
About: I have cared for and owned all different kinds of animals. I have been in the horse riding industry since I was 8 years old so I am not skiddish towards other animals. I truly have a passion for animals and I am very able and willing to do what it takes to take care of your beloved pets!! I am currently a full time student, however I am a commuter so I have the ability to travel freely in between classes and outside of classes. I am on summer break from May-September and have a virtually free schedule for whatever you may need! I am more than happy to confine to whatever you may need me to do in order to give your pet the best care possible. About: I've taken care of my own dogs since I was 9 years old. We had three German shepherds in our family at once so we kept them busy with walks and a lot of play time. We now have our fourth German shepherd who relies on me to walk, bathe, and feed her. I've taken care of my friends dogs and have enjoyed every minute of it. I'm currently not working so I can take care of pets during the entire day. I work around the needs of my pet. I will play or walk her in the morning as well as a nighttime walk or car ride, which she enjoys more than the walk! She receives multiple potty breaks throughout the day as well. My dog has an electric fence so she plays fetch for hours. We also live near multiple parks and paths to take her on walks. I am comfortable walking within subs, on dirt roads, or driving to any location to make sure your pet receives the proper care and exercise for the day depending on their needs.

“My boy Chauncey stayed with Dan and Clare for three nights four days. I was sent multiple forgraphs to show how he was faring including him eating and sleeping. I had a GPS collar on him which showed the amount of play time and rest time he was given. (A LOT)!! Their yard is huge and fenced. Unfortunately my dog has learning to jump over cyclone fencing the week before staying with Dan and Clare; therefore, I put his GPS collar on him. They watched my sweet naughty (sporting dog - very concentrated on looking for creatures and can lose his mind by only having those thoughts in his head ;-) ) and I could tell much attention was given to watching out for him and guaranteeing he was safe. Their three dogs - after they bark upon your arrival - are very sweet and very accepting of newcomers. I would use them again in a heart beat. I travel on the road with my dog and also spend time in Texas so it will be hit and miss when the need arrives. However, should you want a safe, clean, dog "resort" for your pup go here. Lots of new smells, critters to chase and great hosts for your four legged family member, Thank you Dan and Clare!”
