“Upon our initial Meet & Greet with Adam, my partner and I immediately felt good about working with them. Adam’s sensitivity, attunement, and ability to relate to animals was present from the moment they were introduced to our cat, Gonzi. Adam spent two weeks house/cat-siting while we were abroad and took care of him with an attentiveness and affection equaling our own. We received regular video and photo updates during our vacation. (Adam is a filmmaker, so the videos were extra special). In the videos Gonzi was purring, and had clearly developed a close bond with Adam, something that is quite unusual for Gonzi. Adam’s messages and videos made clear that they are conscientious and thoughtful about how important such updates are for pet owners. As well as being very prompt in communication, Adam was also flexible. Our flight was late, and they kindly made an extra visit that evening after the stay had officially ended. Upon our return, Gonzi was happy and healthy, and had clearly been very well taken care of. Our home was very clean and tidy as well. Adam was a perfect cat sitter for us. About: I have a calm demeanor that appeals to all sorts of animal personalities. In the past i’ve volunteered with Zues' Rescue and I’m generally the go to pet care friend :) I’m a school counselor, so during the school year I am available after school and on weekends. During the summer, I am available 24/7. I can make exceptions if I am on PTO, holidays, etc. I make sure to observe an animals natural routine. Where they like their toys to be, their food dishes, etc. I am especially understanding of animals who may have experienced trauma and have triggers; I make sure to meet them at their level when I approach, speak quietly, etc.

About: I’ve been involved in boarding and veterinary medicine for approximately 4 years now, although my love for pets has been as long as I’ve been alive. I value each animal as if they were my own and give nothing less than the upmost patience and respect. I feel confident in reading animal behavior, handling, medicating, walking, and so much more. I have a relatively open schedule although my availability is much higher in the afternoons. I currently am a stay at home mother, but with family support am able to still apply myself to pet care and stay involved in a world I love. I currently do not offer in home care at this time. As for patient care in a client’s home I am willing to do anything to keep the standard of which the pet is used to as much as possible. I will respect and honor any routine to keep the experience as low stress as possible.
