About: Hi! We’re Seth and Farrah, the team behind 504Doghouse. We’ve both grown up around animals our entire lives, and together we bring a wide range of hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and even farm animals. We love what we do and treat every pet like family. ⸻ Our Pet Care Experience From Seth: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember, but my lifelong dog Phoebe — a miniature schnauzer — taught me what it really means to care for a pet from childhood through adulthood. Later, I fostered a high-energy Lab/Pit mix named Bella, who showed me how different breeds have different needs, personalities, and training styles. After serving in the military, I rescued my dog Deku, a border collie–schnauzer mix who learned full obedience and trick training within months. I’ve also helped raise my brother’s Catahoula/Blue Heeler mix, Snoop — another high-energy, intelligent dog who taught me how to handle rough play and stubborn behavior. I’ve worked at Petco handling small animals, volunteered at shelters, and now regularly walk dogs, giving me experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. From Farrah: I’ve cared for cats and dogs my entire life, and my Boston Terrier — who I walked and ran with for over 10 years — shaped my understanding of daily pet care, consistency, and companionship. As an adult, I fostered a kitten for almost a year and have been house-sitting for the past 3 years. I’ve cared for up to 4 cats, 2 dogs (large and small), and even goats and chickens for the family I regularly house sit for. Pet care fits easily into our weekly routine because we both have flexible schedules. Here’s how we manage our availability: • Seth works part-time, which leaves plenty of open hours during the day for walks and drop-ins. • Farrah is currently pregnant and stays at home, so she’s almost always available to give consistent attention and care. • Walks are offered between 9 AM–6 PM. • Drop-ins are available until 8 PM. • Weekends and special situations can be accommodated upon request. • Because there are two of us, we’re able to provide reliable coverage, flexibility, and quick communication. We keep our schedule open to make sure your pet’s routine stays steady, stress-free, and well cared for. We take safety and trust seriously in every situation. When we’re caring for pets in your home, we follow your routines exactly, keep doors and gates secured, use your preferred equipment, and make sure everything is clean and locked up before we leave. For walks and drop-ins, we use safe, controlled walking practices, avoid risky dog interactions, watch weather conditions, and always keep your pet on leash. We send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. Overall, we treat every pet like our own. With two of us working together, your pet gets reliable attention, consistency, and a calm, safe environment every time.

About: My family and I have fostered and adopted injured/disabled dogs in the past so I understand what it takes to care for special need animals. I also have a senior dog and so I know the steps needed to care for an older dog(s)! I do not work and therefore have a lot of time to take care of your pet(s)! I have the time to play, walk, and do whatever you deem necessary for your pet’s health and wellbeing! When pet sitting, your furry companion will get so much love and attention, and they will get as much play time as desired and as many walks necessary! They will be fed appropriately and given medication if necessary! All rules will be followed and your house will be well respected.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals my whole life but I really got into it when I was around 10 years old. I’ve been taking care of horses, dogs, cats, birds, fish, goats, reptiles, rodents, etc! I find peace in training dogs and have been for about 10 years now. I’m currently in school for Animal Health and Behavioral Sciences to get my certification in dog training! I love seeing a happy owner with the progress of their dogs. It’s incredibly rewarding for me! I’ve dealt with dogs from all walks of life so no dog is too scary or too big for me. Your pet will be in great care with me! I currently have a full time job, however, we do have long weeks and short weeks as well as working nights and days. I typically watch over friends and family’s pets on my short weeks but I can also be flexible on my long weeks as I live 5 minutes from my job. On the nights that I work, my husband will be home to aid in any extra care your pets may need. I have a fenced in yard, a little on the smaller side but I also offer to take dogs on walks and can bring them to the dog park as my 3 dogs love going there! My fur babies are super sweet and playful. If your pet needs crate training or potty training, I’m an expert as I’ve raised several puppies throughout my life. I also don’t mind giving your pet medication and/or supplements as my dogs get special food and supplements everyday! They are up to date on vaccines and flea, tick, dewormer is administered every month! While my house isn’t the biggest, I always make sure to make other pets feel at home and safe while they’re here.

About: I’ve grown up with whole life with dogs, so I know the importance of taking care of your 4-legged family member(s) that are important in your life. I want to provide my services so that your fur baby is safe and comfortable in their own home, while you are alway from home. I’ve had small dogs such as jack Russell’s and as big as pit bulls in my family. No fur baby is too big or too small to love and care for. I am currently not working since I am finishing my degree in Nursing. The only work I have been doing is part-time babysitting and dog sitting on the side & weekends. I am mostly available weekdays from 8am-8pm. Weekends can be tricky for me due to other side jobs such as babysitting, so it just depends. Just ask if you have questions about any specific weekend. I currently have a recused pitbull-husky mix living in my home with me, that loves to play all day. She is recently just finished her heart worm treatment as of August 2025. We just started slowly becoming active again. Due to her circumstances, I have been able to learn more about pets medication and aiding in helping her through this process. Unfortunately, I can not have any pets in my home due to renting restrictions of no more than 1 dog. However, I am available to help with other pets medications and care for your fur pup in your home.

About: I have had pets all my life, and still do. I also worked at 2 dog day cares and boarding facilities. I worked the front desk at a vet's office for 2 years. And I did animal rescue for a number of years. I have been working with animals for over 15 years all together. In that time I have had to work with a wide variety of pet personalities. I have sat for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, cats, and the occasional bird, pig, or reptile. I enjoy giving families the peace of mind that their furry family members are in good hands and getting the love and care they are used to while they are away. Working from home allows me to have a flexible schedule to take care of your pets needs when they need me. I am typically available to work around thier schedule. Taking care of your pets involves keeping to thier routine and making them feel like nothing has changed. Although I may spoil them a bit more than they are used to. But they deserve the extra love while their family is away.

About: I've been caring for dogs for years, starting with pet sitting for my best friend's dogs and later helping my sister care for pets in our community. My experience grew even further when I worked for a year at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. About: I’ve been involved in boarding and veterinary medicine for approximately 4 years now, although my love for pets has been as long as I’ve been alive. I value each animal as if they were my own and give nothing less than the upmost patience and respect. I feel confident in reading animal behavior, handling, medicating, walking, and so much more. I have a relatively open schedule although my availability is much higher in the afternoons. I currently am a stay at home mother, but with family support am able to still apply myself to pet care and stay involved in a world I love. I currently do not offer in home care at this time. As for patient care in a client’s home I am willing to do anything to keep the standard of which the pet is used to as much as possible. I will respect and honor any routine to keep the experience as low stress as possible.

There's no setting for that weight on Rover. (Unless your pet is an elder and/or they're very mellow) <--- My name is Melissa (aka. "Missy"). I'd like to care for your precious pet the next time you need some help. Do you have somewhere to go, or something to do? Let me help you, at your place or mine!?! You can book your pet for a caring, one hour, drop-in visit to your home, a few overnight visits, or an extended stay at my house. Do you need help at the last minute ... ? No problem. I'm happy to provide pet transportation, if needed. I can also help you fulfill the rules & requirements at a "Pet-Friendly" NOLa hotel, when the rules say, “you cannot leave your pet in the hotel room alone”. I work from home as a bookkeeper & tax consultant - This means your precious pet will NEVER be left alone for long hours, whenever they're in my care. I will be at your pet's side, while you take care of business or if you have a fun get-away planned. I’m very comfortable with many different animals & dog breeds, including elderly dogs that need a mellow, safe space with calm, gentle care. I pay close attention to what your dog likes & dis-likes, along with their personality quirks & individual needs. I enjoy caring for all animals, both young & old. I do not accept more than 2-3 dogs at a time. ((I USUALLY only schedule ONE family's pet(s) at the same time, especially if there’s a new dog client)). I always put in a great deal of consideration, before scheduling more than one family's pet at the same time. My home is very spacious, clean, well-organized & safe. I have a large, gated/enclosed & secure, backyard. The dogs that stay with me are ALWAYS supervised. My eyes will be on your pet constantly, while we play at your home or mine, both inside & outside. Allow me to love & care for your precious pet, while you take care of you. Let's discuss your needs. I do offer one free meet & greet. Other than dogs, I also have experience caring for: Cats, Birds, Bunnies, Turtles, Lizards, Snakes, Hamsters, Fish, Frogs, Chickens & Plants. Most of my pet guests are small, therefore any extra frisky, playful pet, over 30 pounds may cause physical harm, even if they are just playing. I'd rather not take that chance. I work from home as a bookkeeper & tax consultant. I’m rarely away from the house for more than 2-3 hours. I will always keep my eyes on your pet, even when the pet is roaming around the backyard. My backyard has a 9 ft. high, wooden fence. I also have a double gated entry, front-yard patio. I can also provide crates if needed. My 20 pound dog is 8yrs. old and he is very mellow & well behaved. He always welcomes another dog friend, anytime. We have a trusted routine for introducing new pet guests.

About: Ive pet sit since I was 14, both paid and unpaid, and I love it! I have experience with difficult dogs/cats (multiple high energy pups in one home) and a moody pet does not scare me off. Currently, 30 hours, of my week (~5hrs a day) is spent at my job at a cafe. Outside of that I can fit your fur baby into my schedule before or after work or on my off days! I never work late and my schedule is very flexible Being able to read the body language of your pup/kitty is a crucial skill that I have a lot of experience in. Being in your home, I know Im in their space

About: I’ve taken care of dogs/cats of all kinds for 6 years now. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and extend love to their pets. I enjoy meeting new pets and adapting to their needs. I work a full time job myself but adjust so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I know how important it is to show care and love to all pets any time of the day! I have a fenced yard and one dog that’s not even close to harmful. I also have two cats that live a life of their own and cause no bother to anyone. Anything that is requested can certainly be met.
