About: Hey there! My name is Emily and I am a recent grad who has moved back to the area. I have always been an animal lover, and during grad school, I was able to broaden my animal care experiences! I am a dog mom to a German Shepherd named Gemma. She is a rescue and dog-reactive (but loves all people!), so I have extensive experience with walking and handling reactive dogs! Rest assured, when I care for your pets, Gemma will NOT be present. I was an avid foster and volunteer while in grad school for organizations such as Big Paws of the Ozarks, Fayetteville Animal Services, and Best Friends Resource Center. We have had fosters of a variety of ages and breeds. Additionally, I spent most of my Saturdays at the local farmers market with an adoptable shelter pup working on socialization and leash skills with fellow volunteers. Lastly, before moving, I was also a part-time employee at a pet resort that offered daycare, boarding, and grooming services. Hereto, I was able to care for even more dogs (and even some cats!). I am passionate about animal care and would love to take care of your pets, whether it be for walks, check-ins, or house sitting. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. About: I have raised pets for years and nursed puppies and kittens of all ages. I personally have 1 dog and 4 cats currently. I’ve trained my own dogs to be well mannered and good tempered while making sure they have plenty of room for fun. I treat all of my pets like children and make sure they are all taken care of as well as I can. I have experience with raising dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish. Every animal has their own personality and I have never come in contact with a pet that I’ve felt is too much. Patience is a virtue with all new animals and I make it a goal to make them feel comfortable with me. Our dog consistently goes on hikes with us. We force her on runs even as she gets older. She is 8 now and we keep her moving. They get very consistent play at home and occasionally I force my cats up from naps. Loves of love and pets, many forced cuddles from the animals.
