“The whole process booking with Katie was easy! We needed her help with our two kittens who need a bunch of attention throughout the week and when we arrived home everything was in order and under control. She did a great job watching over the kittens during our vacation and made our arrival peaceful by having them already taken care of. She is so sweet and caring. We received updates at least twice a day about the day which we LOVED ! We appreciate you for all your help! Thank you.”

“Left the house in great shape, took care of all mail, packages, put the trash out, etc. She took great care of our pets, and definitely seems very well versed in nervous dog behavior! Will happily rebook in the future!”

“Makinzie was amazing with Clark. She was so respectful, responsive and kind- definitely a pup lover and he loved her back! Will definitely use her services again! Thank you Makinzie”

“We're grateful we found Stephen! He came to our hotel to pet sit, putting our dog immediately at ease. By the time we got back, they were best buds. Highly, 100% recommend.”

About: Hey there! My name is Emily and I am a recent grad who has moved back to the area. I have always been an animal lover, and during grad school, I was able to broaden my animal care experiences! I am a dog mom to a German Shepherd named Gemma. She is a rescue and dog-reactive (but loves all people!), so I have extensive experience with walking and handling reactive dogs! Rest assured, when I care for your pets, Gemma will NOT be present. I was an avid foster and volunteer while in grad school for organizations such as Big Paws of the Ozarks, Fayetteville Animal Services, and Best Friends Resource Center. We have had fosters of a variety of ages and breeds. Additionally, I spent most of my Saturdays at the local farmers market with an adoptable shelter pup working on socialization and leash skills with fellow volunteers. Lastly, before moving, I was also a part-time employee at a pet resort that offered daycare, boarding, and grooming services. Hereto, I was able to care for even more dogs (and even some cats!). I am passionate about animal care and would love to take care of your pets, whether it be for walks, check-ins, or house sitting. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I am happy to chat :) I am currently located around the 19464/19343 area. Note: I am able to do check-in visits for cats and hang out for a bit, but cannot house sit because I am allergic. As a recent grad on the job market, I have a ton of free time to take care of your pets! Whether it be morning, midday, or evening walks or check-ins, I’m your gal! In your home, whether it be for a walk, check-in, or housesitting, I am happy to follow any rules that you have in mind! Since I am used to walking a reactive dog, I am extremely observant on walks for anything that might trigger a reaction.
“Mary and Chandler did a fantastic job taking care of our two greater Swiss Mountain dogs while we were gone for the weekend. They sent updated pictures and notes, honored the requests we had made, and also left the house in great condition which we really appreciated. We arrived home to two well fed and happy dogs, and a clean house. We would absolutely utilize their services again. Thanks so much Mary and Chandler!”

“Ben was absolutely wonderful! He communicated well sent great photos and we felt very good about having him care for our dogs. He asked great questions when he was unsure and to me that is the mark of a great person and a caring pet sitter! We will ask Ben back for sure!”
“Makayla was a wonderful sitter for our two labs. Her kindness, punctuality and dedication was evident. She kept us up-to-date with video clips and pictures of her stay at our house. I would highly recommend her and hope to request her services in the future.”

“We're so grateful to Katherine for watching our Aussie! He warmed up to her immediately and she took great care of him and our home. She was on time and sent pics which we loved. ❤️❤️”

“Chris was a fantastic sitter and house guest. My dog is recovering from a major surgery and Chris took such good care of him. Sully was very comfortable and enjoyed his time with Chris. I would highly recommend her and will be using her again. Thank you!!”

“Mary was spectacular while sitting for our dog, Holly, overnight in our home while we were away. It was a short trip but she kept us updated constantly with photos and messages detailing how much she ate, her activity level, mood, and bathroom activity. Mary was punctual, so polite and pleasant to speak with, and extremely professional. You can tell she takes her job caring for animals very seriously. I would 100% recommend Mary and definitely plan to book with her again the next time we’re away.”

“Tiffany took great care of our two cats, and our fish/turtle, and helped us by bringing in the mail also. She took great pictures of the cats throughout the stay and provided regular updates. The pictures made us smile and let us know our cats were in great hands. We would definitely hire her again!”

About: As a kid growing up, I had my own “business” around the neighborhood where I would care for pets in their homes. Later I worked as a veterinary tech, and feel comfortable administering needed medications or providing bathing/nail clipping services. Other than kids, animals have always been a passion of mine. I currently am a stay at home mom to 3 year old twins. I will always make your beloved pets a priority and schedule into my day as needed. I prefer to keep pets in their home, this can be a safe space for them since they feel more comfortable there versus a new home with completely new people. I can stay there with the pets, and treat them as my own. Each has their own quirks and personalities, but catering to those needs is essential. I’ve watched a variety of animals from pigs to ferrets, bearded dragons and fish, and more! Ideally searching for a consistent dog that needs walking that is good with children. One of my twins is in early intervention school and the other is with me almost all of the time. Husband will be home in evenings for overnight needs. Stay at home mom to 3 year old twins, so quick drop ins during the day and boarding in the evening would be no problem. Would love to find a consistent dog to walk during the day while one of my kids is in early intervention preschool! I’ve worked in boarding and understand the importance of giving animals what they need. They all have quirks that we love about our own pets and require lots of love especially when their humans are away.

“Paige has house sat for our animals twice now, and she has been fantastic! The communication and care she gives them has always been a huge relief when we go away on trips.”

“Nico was great with our dogs, Sammy and Hazel! He stayed at our house and sent daily updates. The dogs seemed happy when we returned home! He was also very responsive leading up to the trip. It’s great to be able to leave for a long weekend and not worry. I would recommend Nico!”

Makayla is an awesome pet sitter! She cared for our dog, Luna, in our home. Communication was excellent with regular texts, pictures and pup-dates. Luna was well cared for, comfortable, and happy. I would recommend Meghan to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional dog sitter!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Ludwigs Corner walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Ludwigs Corner maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Ludwigs Corner choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
