About: Hey there! My name is Emily and I am a recent grad who has moved back to the area. I have always been an animal lover, and during grad school, I was able to broaden my animal care experiences! I am a dog mom to a German Shepherd named Gemma. She is a rescue and dog-reactive (but loves all people!), so I have extensive experience with walking and handling reactive dogs! Rest assured, when I care for your pets, Gemma will NOT be present. I was an avid foster and volunteer while in grad school for organizations such as Big Paws of the Ozarks, Fayetteville Animal Services, and Best Friends Resource Center. We have had fosters of a variety of ages and breeds. Additionally, I spent most of my Saturdays at the local farmers market with an adoptable shelter pup working on socialization and leash skills with fellow volunteers. Lastly, before moving, I was also a part-time employee at a pet resort that offered daycare, boarding, and grooming services. Hereto, I was able to care for even more dogs (and even some cats!). Since I am used to walking a reactive dog, I am extremely observant on walks for anything that might trigger a reaction.

About: I currently work from home for a family business, but I am looking to expand my own business and passion - taking care of animals! I worked for doggy daycares and boarding facilities for 3.5 years, ensuring the safety, happiness, and health of a wide variety of dog breeds and ages. I have administered medications, completed dog handling courses, and grooming training as well. This led me to groom professionally full-time for 2 years after college. I now prefer to do at-home bathing sessions and spend more time with pets one-on-one in a homey environment. In addition to dogs, I have taken care of fish, cats, amphibians, lizards, and birds. I have a 9 year old bunny of my own, so I am well-versed in rabbit care. Throughout high school, I volunteered at PetSmart taking care of the cats and at Diane's Pet Supplies, too, walking their dogs. These are all in addition to being my primary neighborhood dog-sitter/walker. Pet sitting fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work remotely with a highly flexible schedule. This allows me to adjust my day around your pet’s needs—whether that means regular walks, consistent feeding times, play breaks, or simply being present for companionship. I’m able to provide frequent check-ins. For stays in my own house, because I’m home throughout the day, your pet will get plenty of attention, supervision, and interaction. My flexible schedule also allows me to closely follow your pet’s routine and provide consistent, attentive care to keep them comfortable and well cared for. I’m committed to providing attentive, reliable care for every pet I look after. I’m happy to take your dog on walks, follow feeding instructions closely, and administer any medications as needed. When caring for your pet in your home, I make it a priority to maintain their normal routine so they feel comfortable, secure, and stress-free while you’re away. I also pay close attention to behavior and overall well-being, ensuring your pet stays happy, healthy, and at ease. If your dog is staying in my home, they’ll be treated just like my own. They’ll enjoy plenty of affection, attention, and enrichment throughout the day—including couch privileges, treats (as approved), and lots of cuddles. Because I work from home, your pet will have near-constant supervision and companionship, allowing me to closely monitor their safety, comfort, and health for a smooth and enjoyable stay!

About: We have lots of experience with dogs, cats and many other types of animals! Large property with room to run, we have several horses and goats on site. Family care in our home (with children). Experience working as a vet tech including first aid, animal grooming, training and behavior, and as an animal chiropractor for ~15 years. We do have a kennel license through the state and as such, we require a copy of your current rabies vaccine and dog license (easy to do and only about $12 online!). Question on this? Just ask! We have several older children who help out with daily care, walks, and feeding. One parent is stay at home and the other parent works flexible hours. We have a large house for dogs to roam and play throughout the day. Sleeping can be in a kennel or snuggled with us in bed--whatevert you prefer. Large outdoor spaces to roam and we love to take walks in the neighborhood.

“Paige did an excellent job sitting for our Belgian Malinois (Hoobie) and our Chocolate Labrador (Bella). Paige was timely and efficient, spending much time playing with the dogs and making sure they were comfortable. Paige had come by several days before to meet the dogs, and when she showed up the day of sitting the dogs were thrilled to see her! Handling two dogs at once (especially a Malinois!) can be challenging, but Paige made it look easy, you can tell she loves dogs and all animals! We highly recommend Paige, and will be asking her to dog sit again soon!”

About: I have raised pets for years and nursed puppies and kittens of all ages. I personally have 1 dog and 4 cats currently. I’ve trained my own dogs to be well mannered and good tempered while making sure they have plenty of room for fun. I treat all of my pets like children and make sure they are all taken care of as well as I can. I have experience with raising dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish. Every animal has their own personality and I have never come in contact with a pet that I’ve felt is too much. Patience is a virtue with all new animals and I make it a goal to make them feel comfortable with me. Our dog consistently goes on hikes with us. We force her on runs even as she gets older. She is 8 now and we keep her moving. They get very consistent play at home and occasionally I force my cats up from naps. Loves of love and pets, many forced cuddles from the animals.

About: I have nearly two years of professional experience working as a kennel assistant at two different animal care facilities, where I cared for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. About: My name is Sophia and I have loved animals since I was little. I have 3 fur babies myself! Brandy, Bourbon and Whisky (my little bar cart if you will). I also have a rabbit named Toast and all 4 of them are the light of my life. Every morning I wake up and they greet me with kisses and demands for pets. Of course I always give in. I have a bachelors in large animal sciences, have volunteered at forgotten cats for years, and have worked in emergency, oncology and dermatology departments. Currently I work at another veterinary clinic that helps dogs and cats get quick emergency care for more minor issues like ear infections. With all my past experience your fluffy ones will be in good hands! Since I work during week days and sometimes weekends, I would try to be back with your pet(s) as much as possible! (I work a total of 4 days a week and my schedule can be random since I’m in veterinary emergency). Weekdays I work 3pm -11pm and weekends I would work 10am-8pm. Any other time would be spent taking your pet on walks, brushing out their fur, giving them treats and all the attention they deserve! I can stay with/walk pets before work on weekdays. Weekends I would be unable to walk them unless you are okay with my hours and I am doing overnight or long term pet sitting. I would take your dogs for walks or let them out into the yard as much as possible. I will follow instructions left by you and make sure to give many updates and pictures! I believe pictures are the best way to feel comfortable with your pets care while also getting those cute pet moments while your away!
