“Emily did a great job looking after our 2 dogs and 2 cats while we were out of town for 5 days. When one of our dogs was wary of her during their initial meet-and-greet, she offered to meet them on another day prior to our departure to make sure all was well, and of course it was. She provided updates after every visit while we were away. We look forward to working with her again in the future!”

About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover and have hands-on experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. As a dog owner myself, I understand the importance of providing a safe, loving, and structured environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding schedules, administering basic medications if needed, crate training, reinforcing routines, and providing plenty of playtime and affection. I know that every dog has unique needs, and I take the time to learn each pet’s routine so they feel happy and secure while you’re away. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll treat them like one of my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind by providing dependable care, regular updates, and lots of love for your furry family member. I am available for drop in visits or walks on Saturday and Sundays. Unfortunately my work schedule Mon-Fri doesn’t provide me availability to provide service during the week days. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I will follow their normal feeding schedule, exercise routine, and any special instructions you provide. Pets in my care will receive plenty of attention, playtime, affection, and supervision. I also believe communication is important, so I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and cared for.
“Dear Makayla, thank you so much for taking wonderful care of Christy while we were away. I appreciate your dedication and compassion. I wish you and your family a wonderful new year.”

About: I grew up with dogs and while my current situation isn't conducive to owning, dogsitting and walking suffice the immediate urge. I grew up with St. Bernards, so I can handle dogs of all sizes. My schedule will be very open, but I enjoy waking up early and going on walks, so if that is something that you are looking for I would gladly volunteer my services. I am very active and am ready to tire out your dog in the yard or on a run when necessary. Looking forward to spending time with your dog! I'm taking some time in between jobs, so my days are wide open, but I play soccer in the evenings very regularly, so that is the only part of the day where I may have limitations. I am not able to offer boarding given my apartment restrictions, but I can assure you I will treat your home with care and respect.
“We had to travel out of state for a wedding, and this was our first time using the Rover app. Our sitter, Rachel, was absolutely amazing. She took excellent care of our 22-year-old cat and our two birds, following all of our instructions perfectly. Rachel was also a fantastic communicator, keeping us updated on how our pets were doing and even checking in about the house. It gave us real peace of mind knowing we could relax while we were away, confident that everything was in great hands. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be booking Rachel again in the future.”

“Alexis was fantastic! She was reliable and my cat loved her immediately. It was very comforting to see all of the happy photos while I was gone. She went above and beyond to also help me with an issue in my house while she was there. I highly recommend her!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Ariel watching our dogs while we were out of state . She provided daily updates, which gave us great peace of mind, and it was clear that our dogs were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. She was attentive, reliable, and treated our dogs like they were her own. We came home to happy pups and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter!”

“Danielle was wonderful with Buddy! She stopped by a couple of times during the day to check on him, spent time playing with him, and even gave him some ice chips to help him cool down in the heat. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Buddy!”

“Elena was an exceptional pet sitter and went above and beyond in caring for my babies. From the start, she was professional, kind, trustworthy, and very attentive to all instructions. She made sure my pets were comfortable, well-fed, and happy, and it was clear she genuinely cares about animals. I really appreciated the regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter, and I will absolutely book her again.”

“I’ve needed Sam to do drop in visits for me for about the past month and a half. She was great with following the best approach to take Atlas out of his crate as he can get excited easily. I appreciate her sending me photos so I knew he was doing okay while I was at work. Its a relief to have someone you know and trust to care for your pet and I can’t recommend her enough.”

About: I’ve cared for animals for years, beginning with my own family dog and now with my two cats, who have taught me the importance of understanding every pet’s unique personality and routine. Beyond my own pets, I regularly care for friends’ and family members’ dogs and cats, whether that means walks, feeding, playtime, administering routine care, or simply providing companionship while they’re away. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and strive to make every pet feel comfortable, safe, and loved as if they were my own. As a recent Fordham University B.S. graduate preparing for dental school, I spend most of my days studying from home, which gives me an exceptionally flexible schedule for pet care. Because my study routine is self-paced, I’m able to build my day around the needs of the pets I’m caring for—whether that’s morning walks, midday potty breaks, afternoon play sessions, evening feedings, or overnight care. I enjoy taking breaks throughout the day to get outside, making long walks and quality one-on-one attention a natural part of my routine. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving environment and take the time to learn each pet’s routine and personality so they feel right at home. My home features a screened porch for supervised outdoor time, and a quiet road that’s perfect for safe, scenic walks. Whether your pet loves to play or prefers to relax, they’ll receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and personalized care. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in safe, caring hands.
“I highly recommend Audrey for any pet sitting needs! She stopped by twice a day to care for my three cats while I went on vacation. I received pictures from her from each drop-in along with an update about how the drop-in went! I felt very comfortable leaving my cats in her hands!”

About: I have lots of experience administering medication to dogs and cats and I am comfortable doing so. I am also comfortable watching puppies, who are not potty trained, and cleaning up after them. I have had many puppies in my life and cleaned up a lot of messes. Depending on your requests (and your dog's preference), I will take your dog on a long (2 to 3 mile) walk a day or to the dog park (probably in Pheonixville: on Longford Rd). A dog deserves to get all his energy out, and I do not charge more for walking them. I recently moved to the Valley View Apartments in Pottstown, PA. I work part-time at The Home Depot (6 minutes away). I have a BA in English from Stony Brook University in NY and I am returning to School this fall, part-time, to begin a new journey in Engineering. I love dogs and I would enjoy watching them and taking care of them. I have had dogs my entire life, and due to my recent move, this is the first time in my life I am without them in residence. Your dog(s) is free to go and sleep wherever they want in my apartment. My dog, Oliver, is a gentle, sweet pup with random bursts of puppy energy. He suffers with epilepsy, which is where I gained experience administering (over fifty: not an exaggeration) pills a day to my dog. Our dogs and cats are free to go wherever they want at the house back at home and when they stay here at my apartment. Although I am not living with them currently, I believe taking them out either for a long walk or to the dog park for at least forty five minutes is essential.
“Haley did such a good job taking care of our two kitties while we were gone! She was very good at sending updates and pictures, even went above and beyond to take care of a few extra things for us! We’ll for sure use her services again!”

About: We are nestled on 2.5 acres in North Coventry Township. We have a large portion of the property fenced in offering plenty of safe playtime. Our beloved bulldog went to the Rainbow Bridge & we are currently pet free. ** Please note – while we are currently dog free, we are no longer hosting non dog friendly. I have an animal science degree and have owned and operated a pet sitting business for over 20 years. I have also worked as an educator for the Philadelphia Zoo. Animals are my education and my career, taking "animal lover" to a different level. :-) We are unable to host large dogs. Small to medium sized dogs only. We host one dog at a time to make sure your furkid gets our undivided attention. If you live in the Pottstown area, I am also able to offer drop in visits & walking at your home. Please message for details. Additionally, we offer bird/parrot boarding if you or someone you know would like for their feathered kid to have lots of interaction. I have decades of bird experience from my time working at the Zoo & I had an African Grey parrot for 20 years. I have many sized cages available for your birds stay (if you choose to use one of mine) to allow for a seamless pick up/drop off experience. Feel free to message me with any specific questions.😁🐶🦜 I own a pet sitting business & have a flexible schedule that allows me to be home for long periods at a time. I’m in & out, but more in than out. Jason is also home full-time three days per week. Between both of our schedules, there is very close to constant company. I have a large fenced in yard fior plenty of secure and supervised playtime. I only take one dog at a time to make sure this is a fun & safe experience. I own a pet sitting business, so I’m in and out throughout the day. Jason is home full-time three days per week and home until 3:30 the other days. There is close to constant supervision. We have a spacious and secure fenced in yard in a country setting. We have some acreage where we can walk your dog as well. Unless we're out doing something together, someone is usually home. There may an occasional hour or two that no one is home. So pretty close to constant supervision. I have a very large & secure fenced in area. I always ask owners what they do with their dog at home & try to match that. For example, if you crate when you leave your house, I would do the same.
“Ashley was incredible ! So kind and friendly, took her time with our nervous pup and really got to know both dogs. After the initial visit she became a pro and our dogs are in love ! Highly recommend ! I”

About: I am an animal lover and would really enjoy watching your pet for you. I have always loved animals since I was a little kid and grew up around all types of them. I currently have a puppy myself who I adore. I have experience watching bunnies, guinea pigs, cats, and dogs. My sister goes away quite frequently and I always take care of her lab. I actually get really excited when she asks me because I truly enjoy watching him, taking him for walks, playing with him, etc. I have taken care of my neighbors cat and aunts cats many times when they were away. My aunt always is amazed that her one cat lets me hold her because she runs from everyone else. I would love to be a help to your furry friend as well!!

As of August 2026, there are 2,790 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Knauertown. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Knauertown. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
