If you have multiple animals, I'd love to understand any notable dynamics between them so I can be attentive. Also, please feel free to share house rules ahead of a visit (i.e., cats can use the basement but the puppy can't, no paws on the couch).
A typical day
I love to let the animal take the lead and feel free to explore their world however they care to (as long as it's safe!)- whether they want to sprint down the road together or sniff one patch of grass for ten minutes, I'll be glad to be by their side. I always try to accommodate your pets usual routine- going for a walk, getting a meal or treat, playing with a favorite toy, or napping in a sunspot. I am also happy to try and help reinforce any commands or training you are working on with your pet during my time with them.

Pet care experience
I love animals of all kinds and look forward to getting to know your unique pet! My first animal friends were cats, but my circle quickly grew to include snakes, then dogs, and more recently other invertebrates like spiders and scorpions! While I don't have personal experience caring for birds, I am an avid bird watcher and would love to learn how to take care of an indoor feathered friend. I have experience with young pets, old pets, and pets with chronic illness.

Michaela takes great care of our cat! She diligently follows directions and takes time to play with her. She is very communicative and sends lots of pictures. We will definitely use her in the future.

Michaela is a very kind, thoughtful, and caring sitter. Our doodle seemed very comfortable with her which was very reassuring. She kept us updated through out, and followed her routine. We highly recommend her.
