“We needed to leave Roughy for 4 days. Mary and Dan were great. This was Roughy's first time staying with them. They have a huge fenced in yard that Roughy appeared to love. He isn't used to being off the leash. He ran around the yard barking at the cars going by (which were pretty far away) and got some good exercise. Although he was sad that we left him, Mary and Dan took great care of him and made him feel at home. They were willing to let him sleep in the bed with them which I think made him feel safe. They sent a picture or a video each day and were quick to keep in touch when we messaged them. He was happy to see us when we got back, but I think he had a good time with them and I would go back to them again.”

I got daily updates as well as pictures and videos of Poncho, which made my family and I feel better about leaving him. Chonlada and her family took great care of Poncho (spoiled him...lol) and made sure he ate his meals and slept comfortably. They also comforted him during a thunder storm, which he does not like. About: I grew up in the home of biologist who kept all sorts of pets. I have experienced caring for a variety of animals, however have the most familiarity with care for canines. I spent a few years fostering dogs with different issues such as separation anxiety and aggression. I raised and trained a Belgian Malinois from 16 weeks to 1 year, giving me experience with intelligent and high energy dogs. I woke full-time from home and therefore am available to be with the pets all day. I am currently a full-time stay at home mom who works remotely about 10 hours a week. Mila is a very shy dog but Jean was willing to work with her (and us) to make sure she was comfortable staying away from us for a week-long vacation. I am so happy we found her! You can tell that she (and her family) truly care for the dogs they look after and spoil them with love while their owners are away.
