About: I have been walking and sitting dogs for over 20 years, starting at age 11 when I realized dogs just made sense to me. I have owned hounds my whole life and currently share my home with a spirited beagle/jack russell mix named Tate who keeps me well-practiced with high-energy breeds. I recently lost our beloved 11-year-old foxhound mix Juniper, a gentle 70-pound soul who reminded me daily why this work matters. I am a firm believer in Cesar Millan's calm, assertive approach to dog handling. Dogs respond to confident, consistent leadership, and I bring that to every walk and every stay. I am comfortable with all breeds, large and small, and experienced administering medications and hands-on therapy when needed. I work from home in central Annapolis, which means flexible scheduling and plenty of attention for your dog during the day. Your pup is a member of your family and I always treat them like a member of my own. I own a design firm that I run out of my home. My work varies as a creative from video work to graphic design and more but it all comes from my home office located right next to my dog's food and water bowls (my hound dog Tate is currently asleep at my feet- exactly where he loves to be, and right where I love to have him). My workdays typically start around 7am and I work through the early afternoon, occasionally in the evenings. Though I have a full office setup, I also have a laptop that travels with me during house/dog sitting sessions if I need to be away for an extended period of time. As my work is on the creative spectrum, I can always adapt my schedule to fit around yours (and your pup's). Whether it's daily walks or stays with your dog, you can rest assured that they will be looked after with love, care, and the attention they deserve. I live in an apartment in Annapolis so we don't have a fenced in yard. Instead, I take my boy out in the neighborhood on short and extended walks and in the community dog park. Sniff spots and local trails are always on our schedule as our dog is high-energy so he thrives on long walks with lots of smells. Depending on your dog's needs and routine, I'm happy to take them on long walks in and around your neighborhood and parks they're comfortable with, or just playing with them in your own backyard. I'm also open to taking them further out to nature hikes and trails as long as you're comfortable with that. I tend to have Blue Buffalo, Newman's Own, and Charlee Bear treats at the ready (but of course that's up to your discretion) for good dogs and I always adhere to any diet or medication requirements to ensure a happy and healthy experience. I treat your dog like I treat my own and I've always had a great experience with every breed and personality.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, bearded dragons and snakes for family, friends, and strangers over several years. I am willing to take care of any animal(s), no matter the temperament or how exotic it may be. As long as there are clear instructions and direct communication, I am able to be responsible any animal(s). My primary job is with Maryland Department of Natural Resources and with certain assignments there is no rescheduling. This assignments are generally on weekends from 11:00 AM - 5:00PM. I am still able to arrive early in the morning and in the afternoon on these days, otherwise that I am available most of the week. My calendar will be up to date at the beginning of every month. I can come to your home but I cannot use my own. I am willing to send pictures of your animal(s) every minute if you miss them and need to know how they are doing.

About: All my life I have loved animals. I greet the pet before the human most times lol. Having had a family dog majority of my life, and now seeing all my siblings have their own pets (dogs & cats), I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to watch your pet, because pets are family! It brings me so much joy to spend time with animals and be able to provide them a safe space to play, explore, eat, sleep, and be loved on! Animals want to feel comfortable and safe just like humans do, and I am joining Rover so I can help provide this type of care for more loving pet owners 😊 If your dog stays with me we will: go on a minimum of 2 15-30 minute walks, have plenty of play time inside and outside, and be cuddled up on the couch enjoying each other's love. I will also send you plenty of pics with updates of how our time together is going! I want to give your pet the best experience while you are away so they feel okay with the unavoidable time apart. Trust that with me, your pet with be safe and have a great time 😊 I work remotely, so I have flexibility between the hours of 7am to 7pm to: pick up or drop off a pet, let a dog out to use the bathroom and get some fresh air, take a dog out on multiple walks and socialize them if their parent wants/allows that, be in the home whenever the pet wants attention and love, stimulate their brain by playing with them, and feed it breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I want to ensure a pet gets the most out of their day! I have been caring for animals most of my life, and I care for them as if they are my own pets. I make sure their needs (food, water, bed/sleeping area) are easily accessible and that I am available to them whenever they need. I have a fenced in yard and communal courtyard, making bathroom breaks and outdoor playtime/exploration easy! I also have an open living room and a long hallway making indoor playtime fun and doable! And I have windows that look out onto the street and nature to keep their mind busy on those days the weather isn't the best (and they may not want to be outside). When on walks, I am alert and ensure they are always close to me and in safe situations. I know all the safe foods & medicines cats and dogs can have, as well as the unsafe foods & meds, which I make sure are put away and/out of reach for the animal. I know when to be stern in my tone of voice to discipline a dog when necessary (e.g. out on a walk and they are pulling or I need to get their attention, if they have gotten into something that they shouldn't have, etc.). I want to always make sure the pet is safe from harm when with me. They are like children to me, and I will do anything to protect a child! In addition to ensuring the pets safety, I love to snuggle and give pets all throughout the day, providing the pet with lots of love and comfort. Making them happy makes me happy!
